If you like Janet Evanovich then you'll love this book! A fast moving contemporary romance with sexy men, a strong, determined heroine and pets, cute pets.
After seeing this book series advertised on instagram and realizing it was written by a fellow kiwi, I decided to go ahead and jump into book one.
And I'm glad I did.
Sophie Carter - the MC - is somethin' else, she's sassy, brave and above all else she's one passionate vet hellbent on uncovering the dark underground dog fighting rings plaguing New Zealand. All while managing to get involved in some rather sticky situations... with some rather attractive men.
If you're looking for a romance book with a difference, this story is for you. It really has a bit of everything - romance, action, suspense, and not to exclude the cute animals along the way.
Book two, and three, will be in my future for sure.
