This comprehensive book, “Leukemia I'm Fine: Infographic | Question Lists | Diary” by Natalie J. covers signs and symptoms, treatment, nutritional guidelines, online support resources and a host of other critical information on the management of the disease for those diagnosed, as well as their family members and caregivers, with this kind of cancer.

I so appreciate that the book crosses all age groups as it’s simplistic on a difficult diagnosis that can be fatal. Children can read and not only understand the seriousness of the disease but also use the infographic pages to make personalised notes or drawings. The design and layout print the information in small chunks which make it easy and engaging to read. Whether a child or their loved one is diagnosed with leukemia they can use the book to track the progress of the disease. Don’t get me wrong, the book is not only for children. I just had to state it’s applicable for the young ones too.

This great resource will help in the management by filling out the required guides thus making it easy to recall necessary information for medical checkups. As there are sections under the chapter on treatment and throughout the diary which allow for the insertion of “follow up”, “blood count tracker” and “treatment record” details.

Inspirational quotes, statistics on the disease, and the author also included the book’s social media handles are all a part of the wellness offerings included.

This is definitely a keepsake, a quick book Leukemia Bible, to have handy so to be refreshed at any moment. Get the help you need to care for yourself or someone you love who is diagnosed with the disease. Just tell yourself, “I am not sick, I am only diagnosed with cancer”.
