Raven Falls
Ten years ago, everything was taken away from Raven. When the fire swept through her small hometown, it killed everything that she cared about. Not only had she lost her mother and father, she'd lost the one chance she had at true love. Outstanding new novel from Jill Sanders! I truly think this is her best book yet! She really brings the mystery to life and has you on the edge of your seat. Relatable characters with haunting baggage from their pasts prove that having preconceived notions based on rumor and not fact is not the way to live. It's also a great story of second chances or starting over although the murder mystery definitely takes front and center. Be prepared to stay up late and binge read!! I can't wait to read more from this author!

I am so happy I made the time to read this book, it was so good. It is a romantic suspense, with a who-done-it mystery to sort through. It was easy to get lost in it since I was glued to every chapter until the end. The story is very descriptive and in depth with little bits of information that lead my mind in so many different directions.
Raven was determined to take back what was rightfully hers and do right by her parents. She is dedicated to her family’s legacy and easily rids it of those that get it her way. She has been wrongly accused by so many people, yet she still keeps going which made her such a loveable character and had me rooting for her from the beginning.
Then there’s Cade, who I easily attached to as well. These two made me smile, they also had great chemistry which is always important to me. It’s interesting how quickly Cade’s plans changed and how easy it was for him to see the real her. He knew the answer to his question without really needing to ask it. I felt like it was true with most people she met or reconnected to; they could see who she truly was despite the rumors.
Jill Sanders is a new to me author whose book I really enjoyed and am now adding her to my list; I’m definitely interested in reading more from her in the future. There are also some great support characters in here that would make some fun side stories.

Raven Brooks had grown up living at Cannon Falls Ski Resort which was ran by her parents. Unfortunately tragedy struck around her 17th birthday when a large fire broke out nearby which killed a lot of people including her parents and boyfriend and destroyed most of the town.
The story picks up 10 years later, when Raven has come back to pick up the reins of the resort which had been looked after by her uncle and aunt and their family. She hadn't realised that they had totally let the place go. They were not happy Raven was back and neither were the townsfolk who blamed the fire on Raven as she was the the only person found alive that fateful day.
Raven has one fight on her hands to get the resort back to its former glory and she faces many challenges along the way. Worst of all, there is a murderer in town. Every person killed seems to link back to Raven or the resort. Can she win this uphill battle?

A very good mystery and it was hard to guess who the killer really is. The characters are great. Some are very easy to like and some are very easy to dislike. Raven comes back home after 10 years. There are still people in the town who are sure that Raven is the one who caused the fire that killed so many people, Raven's parents included, and burned most of the town. She is back to take over her family's ski resort. She finds that so many things have been neglected under her uncle's time and that she is going to have to sink a bunch of money into the place to get it back to it's former glory. When dead bodies start showing up, Raven is still getting blamed for everything. Cade even blamed her for his brother's death in that fire 10 years ago. Now that she is back and all grown up, he realizes that she is not the person he thought she was. Can they find the killer and clear Raven's name?

Great story! You’re in for a roller coaster of a story that will keep you guessing who the killer could be. You’ll be surprised, I assure you. The story is well written with a fantastic cast of characters.

Jill Sander’s venture into mystery is a win!! Raven has come home after years of being away. Cade wants to hate her, for causing his brother’s death, but can’t. People are dying and everyone is looking for answers. This book delivers romance and suspense until the fiery end!!

Definitely fits in the romantic suspense category. The characters are all well developed and the story well written. It has you wanting to find out more about Raven and her backstory as well as who hates her so much. The murderer is unexpected and the epliogue great.

Raven and Cade were amazing. Raven has been through so much over the years - trying to find healing after so much loss and blame. Cade wants answers about what happened all those years ago and now that Raven is back, he is determined to get those answers. This was quite the story about how a town has tried to rebuild after devastation and how the one girl that everyone blames might be the key to the town's comeback. I was on the edge of my seat a few times in the story! A griping tale of loss, love, and hope for the future.

This is an emotional roller-coaster that is so genuine and heartbreaking but in the best kind of way. Really loved this sweetly thrilling journey filled with engaging charters, heartwarming twists and emotional moments that will leave you breathless. Excellent reading!

Ohhhhhh Emmmmm Geeeeeee! Talk about a page turning, heart thumping, who dunnit. Every time I thought I had it figured out....nope, here came another suspect. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Raven's story and watching Cade come to realize that Raven was innocent of the rumor mill lies and fall in love with her....but can he keep her safe from whomever is murdering people?? Loved it!!

Loved this new book!!
Raven went to live with her grandmother when she lost her parents on a huge fire that destroy a large part of her home town. Now she is back to take over her parents legacy. Things start going bad.

Thought provoking!
Ok, The Who done it threw me. A little shocked who,but not totally. Very enjoyable book. Thank you Jill sanders. Interesting story,happy ending,and looking for more in the series!

This is such a great story.
Everything you want
in a true romance suspense.
It's emotional, heartfelt & suspenseful
with characters you cannot get
enough of. From the first chapter
until the last I was totally captivated.
I got lost in the story wanting to know
what happens next.

WOW!! Absolutely loved this. There was so much going on and the suspense kept me eagerly turning the pages. Loved all the characters and the setting in the small town ski lodge. There's mystery and murder, love and romance as well as a twist and a turn. Thoroughly entertaining.

Suspense was better than the romance part(which was totally blah) but this book was too lengthy and after the mid mark, I started skimming through the chapter. It dragged on and on.
There were few inconsistencies in the book. For eg.
"Cal Brooks was a lot like his sister. Completely in love with himself. Her cousins were totally living o the resort’s money, along with their parents."
"Cade had gone to school with Cal. He’d always liked the guy, since Cal had stuck up for the underdog in school. Whatever the reason, he thought that the two siblings couldn’t have been more different from one another."
The FL says the first line and in the entire book there is no evidence to prove it otherwise. Her cousin is always nice & warm towards her and independent. He always supports her.
This part bothered me a lot. It was a major character flaw.

Our book club picked this book to add some whimsy after some heavier novels earlier this year. Raven Falls is a murder mystery and a romance novel rolled into one. The plot remained interesting and engaging until the end, keeping us on our toes as to who the perp was. Highly recommended for those who like a bit of mystery and a dash of romance.

Raven Falls is Raven and Cade's story and is full of romance, steam, mystery, suspense, drama, and a cast of wonderful characters. A whodunit with twists and turns that keeps you guessing and turning the pages. Enjoyable read!

Even with the mystery of what happened Jill was still able to bring to life the love of a family. This book kept me guessing to the very end and I absolutely loved it. I highly recommend everyone read it.

Jill Sanders is a new author to me. I enjoyed this book from start to finish. It had tender moments and mystery. I thought I figured out “who-done-it” but I didn’t. Not until the very end is it revealed. I will definitely look for more by Ms. Sanders.

Good book
I really enjoyed this book. It kept my attention from the very beginning. I had the killer narrowed down to two people, but I didn't see the twist! Yes, the storyline can be predictable, but it was a really good book.

I think I've read too many mystery thrillers that if it aint anything big and full of action at the end it doesn’t seem satisfying to me.

As the first book by this author that I have read, I was blown away by the fluidity of words wrapped up into this suspense and intense tale. There was passion and intrigue woven seamlessly together as this story flows. I was fully engrossed from the first page and until the end. It is raw and passionate and the depth in which the mystery surrounding it all blended perfectly. I adore Raven and how much of a fighter she was. Then Cade, wanting to get to the bottom of things as well. Both leave such a lasting impression that I am still thinking about this book well after finishing it! Time to dive into the backlist of this author because I am hooked!

Overall it is an ok book, but I think not balanced enough: romance,mystery, suspense. Some part has a bit of length and the final culprit was a surprise, nothing made think so and the fire rest a mystery.
