I read this book years ago, and somehow, it has stayed with me. Angela Fox had such an interesting life of a kind that wouldn't be countenanced today. Her husband cheated on her and didn't even bother to hide it. I think it must have bothered her more than she let's on, but she is very much of the stiff upper lip generation. Simply put: she deserved better.
