Nothing brings out my inner child quite like a delivery from Disney Press that features some of my favorite furry characters. Back in my youth, I was a really big fan of the Aristocats, 101 Dalmatians, Lilo & Stitch, and pretty much any Disney movie that featured feline or canine protagonists. So, consider my inner child delighted to find two new Disney books in my mailbox a few weeks ago. READ MORE: https://yourmoneygeek.com/review-5-mi...
101 Dalmatians: Spot the Difference would have been at the top of my reading list as a child and they are sure to spark joy with today’s generation of animal-loving Disney kids.
Spot the Difference by Calliope Glass (and illustrated by Àngel Rodriquez) is a delightfully fun read, designed to get your young reader involved with the experience. As the book progresses, you help the curious and troublesome Patch spot the difference. Sometimes this means finding something on the page and other times this means turning the book sideways or upside down. It’s a fun easy-to-read adventure for little ones who love all of the pups from 101 Dalmatians.
Disney Press is on a roll this year with joyful children’s books that feature some of the most beloved and classic characters. 101 Dalmatians: Spot the Difference is perfect for those of us wishing to share our own favorite characters with the children in our lives. And I won’t tell anyone if you turned the page to the side to help Patch pour out those puppies.
101 Dalmatians: Spot the Difference was written for readers from Preschool to Kindergarten.
Thank you for Disney for providing ARC's in exchange for an honest review.
Have you ever read an interactive picture book with your children? One that asks them to either move their body or to touch the pages? These types of books are critical for children in that it helps them to follow directions in a entertaining way! 101 Dalmatians: Spot the Difference is one of those books.
The book introduces a Dalmatian named Patch who is playing with his brothers and sisters. The book instructs kids to try to find Patch amongst the many puppies (almost like Where’s Waldo books) but also has them turning and tilting the book and then turning the pages for a different view of the puppies!
Charming illustrations make this book perfect for children who are fans of 101 Dalmatians or children who are ready to read out loud with their families. It’s also a great bedtime story for children to share with their parents and the interactive aspect sets it apart from other picture books.
This delightful tale based on 101 Dalmatians includes interactive language and requires seek and find on the page. Patch, the puppy with a spot around his eye is chewing on the beginning of the story and the reader spends the story trying to get him to stop. This title reads like a Tom Fletcher book and engages its audience with the interactivity. I would encourage this title for most picture book collections because of its ability to engage the reader into the story and maneuver the book. As a Disney tale it also has a built in audience.
Toiminnallinen ihan pienille suunnattu kuvakirja. Tämän tyylisiä kirjoja on ilmestynyt suomeksi parin viime vuoden aikana melko paljon ja kyllähän näistä lapset tykkäävät.
