There is a lot of good advice in this book and there are a lot of remarkable photos in it as well. However... while reading it, many times those two things did not come together to feel like a single, cohesive project. He'd talk about images, and there were images, but on many occasions, I'd find myself wondering what the presented picture had to do with the words next to it, or I'd read a story about a photo and want to see it, but the picture he just spent a page talking about was nowhere to be found, but instead there were some other photos which were seemingly unrelated. Still worth reading, because, as I've said there was a lot of good advice and plenty of entertaining stories, but it was a little frustrating.
9/10 Could be a 10 if it was about 100 pages longer and had some extra pics of what he’s describing in some photos that he took that are not there BUT the book is insanely informative. The book in two words for me would be preparation and lighting.
