lots of action

Unlike several other reviewers of this series, I am not particularly bothered by the bait and switch using Reacher’s name. All references to Jack Reacher are a contrivance but the books stand alone as good action entertainment and character development. I am an original die-hard Reacher fan from way back but I can read Dan Ames for what it is and enjoy it. He may not be Lee Child and Mike Tallon may not be Jack Reacher but Dan writes well and Tallon shoots well so take it for a test drive but start with book one and work your way up to this one. Better yet, start with the Reacher book where Jack first meets Lauren Pauling and then ease into this series and it will all click.

Tallon and Paulin find themselves involved in a mystery that is unfathomable. Little do they know their abilities to find people are being used by killers to eliminate witnesses to the killers past. Many twists and turns yields a great mystery. ENJOY!

Nothing but a short story. Could get this in any magazine. Story is finished as quick as it starts. Disappointed in this author. Will not be reading any Dan Ames books again.
