Seven sons, each with a bloodline of supernaturals that can be traced back to them, but where did they go?

Cassandra has never been the perfect witch, her magic deemed too weak to be useful, she is looked down upon by all in her coven.

But when witches' bodies start turning up drained, covered in blood and sacrificed. Cassandra sees it as an opportunity to prove herself and her magic.

If only the pesky golden god new to town would leave her alone.

Kyro has enjoyed the riches this world has to offer for centuries. Always on the move, always looking for his next fix of sun, women or gold. Until he finds himself in a tiny little town filled with witches.

But when one turns up dead right at his feet all eyes turn to him as the suspect, but knowing he didn’t kill the woman the race is on to find the true murderer before they kill again.

If only the little blue witch would stop distracting him.

Gather around, rose, this is where the future is decided.

I feel like I should probably share some of my thoughts on this book. This book was hilarious until it got serious. So, I would say half of the book and some more were pretty good. Nicely handled with a good sense of humor which made me hope that I would like this book. Yeah, it was crushed badly. Because both MCs fought the mate bond. Heck, that wasn't my issue. It was when they completely refused to acknowledge it even after some solid proof. It was the first strike for me. Then the emotional part of the book was handled badly. When both of their fears came into question, were they saying comforting words? Yes. But where were the actions? Especially Kyro. He was all rainbows and sunshine while trying to soothe Cass's fears. Then what did he do? He did the same as others. Strike two. Strike three was her forgiving him because of his pretty words without actions. Gosh, I thought the mate bond was pretty stronger than human bonds. Here, I did not feel it. Because it felt like human heartbreak. However, the other books at least felt the true mates. It was not the case for me in this book. I'm guessing after reading the epilogue, I'm not gonna like the next book either. At this point, I'm only reading this series because I wanna know the purpose of the reunion. I have a feeling, I'm gonna be disappointed but oh well, at least my curiosity will be fed. Anyway, the fourth and last strike. It was when the author kept getting back and forth between light and fire in terms of Kyro's power. I mean I dunno if she was doing it purposefully or not but I should point out that light and fire are different things. I get it both had burning and hotness in common but seriously. Maybe just choose to stick to light instead of fire since Kyro was the sun controller. However, his powers were not fully explained. I had so many questions. Could he talk to his mate through telepathy? Others could. Sigh. I'm just disappointed. I thought I finally found a great series. Unfortunately, none of the books after the first one came even close to it. Well, except maybe book 4.

this book was so good so i made a list of what i loved:

- chapter 7, 15, 16
- he refers to her as ‘my little blue rose’
- their hilarious bantering ESPECIALLY during sex
- he finds every single thing she does adorable
- they manage to make a scene both funny and hot
- “you don’t just put your.... your sausage in peoples faces.”
- “and in true kyro fashion, he taunts it, turning and yanking down his pants. ‘want this, bitch?’ he shouts.”
- “‘you and your magical dick stick need to stay away from me!’ she yells and rushes past me as i laugh.”

This series by K.A. Knight is freaking hot and fun!! Each book is different and we get to see these different gods finding their mates. Everything you would want in a good story, steamy scenes, betrayal, love, lots of sexy times, and a touch of evil.

Some supernatural murders bring our two broken characters together. There is lots of darkness and not a easy ride for Kyro and Cassandra but if they let each other in maybe, just maybe they can find the kind of love they deserve.

Once again guys this was a steamy hot read that I could not put down. This series is awesome, with each individual book with different characters. I would even venture to say that each book is getting better than the last.

The title says it all really cause this story is definitely, pretty hot! Kyro and Cassandra are just so perfect for each, the heat, the banter made them the ideal couple.

Kyro is the sun god, unlike his brothers who have "children", his attempts have basically failed. Cassandra is a witch, whose coven looks down on her because of her weak magic. When witches start getting murdered in Cassandra's town, nothing is going to stop her from finding the murder, especially not the drop-dead gorgeous god.

The sizzle is real in this book and the characters are constantly drawn to each other, but all they seem to do is fight it as well as each other. It was such a great read from start to finish and the story arc is really starting to come together now as we find out more about the darkness that is coming and who is behind it.

Can't wait for the next book!

Pretty Hot by K.A. Knight

I Give This Book a 4-4.5/5 Star Rating, Listing as 4.

HEA(?): Yes.
Relationship Type: MF
Pacing: Mid, it wasn’t fast but it wasn’t slow.
The pacing in this book is much better than the previous books in this series, one thing I noticed is that you can really tell that the author is getting much more comfortable in this series cause everything is paced evenly, which is easier to read. And I love the breathing areas, it made it easier for me to keep focus on the book.
Drama: 4/5, appropriately fitting to the story.
Suspense: 3/5
Humor: 3/5 The Humor is not forced, it felt very natural and it was a breath of fresh air.
Romance: 3.5-4/5
Heat: 3.5-4/5
Dark(?): Nah.
No Spoilers.
A Seriously Enjoyable Read!
Cassandra & Kyro are such a good fit.
Loved it when Kyro got so cute & funny, and Cassandra won my heart when she called Kyro out on his BS. 😆
Kyro and his interesting fetish, hilarious! 🤣

Kyro and Cassandra are the cutest and I didn’t expect the level of humour that’s in the book.
.
This series is everything! And this read? Is the perfect book for the spooky season! I love kyro and Cassie. Both have their tainted pasts, both similar and yet so different. Both yearning for that one elusive thing, until they lick eyes and their journey begins. Their connection and passion had the pages sizzling. Definitely some out of the box content, not gonna lie but it also gave it life in a way and I’m here for it.
.
Their quirky personalities gelled together and their characters as a whole were well written and developed. I have loved every minute of this world and I never want it to stop. I’m looking forward to the time we get to see all the other brothers and their mates more in the series in one book. The few chapters we get aren’t enough for me and I want to see more.
.
The plot is amazingly written, you never really know where Katie is going to take this series in each book so reading is always a pleasant surprise and a whole new experience to what is in the previous books. It’s always expanding which I love and we got to get some much needed answers and bread crumbs to add to the mystery in this book. Some new challengers and opponents for our couple this round, and how they came together to over come them and their own personal hurdles was amazing.
.
I cannot wait for the next book.

This is probably my third favorite book in this series. It didn’t seem as dark as the previous books which was a nice change and still kept me hooked. This book was filled with witty banter, mystery, magic, fire, and humor.
I really liked Cassandra’s personality. Even though she’s been told her whole life that she’s a screw up and unwanted by her family and coven, she still deeply cares for them and their well being. Kyro was fire, literally. This sun god was hot and had some unique powers that I found intriguing. He hides behind a player and joking attitude, but Cas can see straight through it and doesn’t put up with it. I loved their chemistry, story, and especially their banter. Some of the phrases that they both said had me cracking up with laughter and I loved Cas’ quirkiness.
I feel like Salem plays a bigger role, but only time will tell. This book really starts to unravel the mystery/ darkness more with a twist that I somewhat saw coming, but I’m glad that my intuition was right. I enjoyed the intro that we got for Khalid and I can’t wait to read his and Remi’s story next!

This book was phenomenal. I loved every moment of it. I had to stop reading a book just to read this one because I was super excited to get to the next part into the fallen gods, just to see if I could get to a step closer to knowing who was going to end the world. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed. Kyro and Cassandra’s story was great. The sun god, and the witch. Just a perfect match especially given each other’s attitudes, they seemed both alike but also very different in the way they acted. I was excited getting towards the end knowing that I may read a part of who wanted to end the world and boy was it a huge surprise to me. I just couldn’t believe what I was reading, I couldn’t believe it was that person, or at least a fraction of the person. I’m excited for Pretty Faces because we are getting so close to the end and I’m anxious for all of the gods to get together with their mates. Thanks K. A. Knight for another great read.

Wow oh wowzah I loved this book. This book had everything I wanted. Male who just wants to f**k around and not get attached. A B.A. witch that does not take any of his godly s**t. A whole lot of sexy sexy sex and groveling. I don't know what it is about a feisty, fierce women making a male god grovel that just fits so right for this book.

Cassandra is so miss understood by her family and "friends" and she just wants to do what's right for her coven. She is the balance in this books and you just love her for it. He pissed me off toward the end but he made up for it in the end end. LOL

I really really like this series guys. Not only does it show different kinds of love and how they can be pieced together (even when they think they cant) and it truly is beautiful. You do end up having your favorites but I think that's was makes this series soooo fun!

Get it - NOW! :) You wont regret it.

Cassandra has never been a good witch. Her coven looks down on her because her magic is weak and her spells are wonky. But even though they have given up on her, Cassandra is trying to save them. When witches start being murdered; their bodies drained for sacrifice Cassandra is determined to find the killer. Her first suspect... a golden man she saw crouching over the latest body. So what if he's the most beautiful man she's ever seen. She can't stop thinking about him or wanting him and after he proves his innocence and a spell or two go wrong, they decide to join forces. Kyro, the Sun God is all about his next pleasure and is determined to leave after the killer is found but will he be able to walk away from his little blue rose?

Kyro and Cassandra were well on their way to becoming my favorite couple in the series. Yes, I know I say that every time but I also mean it every time. Sexy, sweet, and silly. Cassandra's accidental antics and her sassy comments made her my favorite of the women so far. Kyro was a little shallow but his golden roses and his inner turmoil won me over. However, he made a crucial mistake and I never recovered. He was a coward but I understood his fear and could have gotten beyond it. He hurt Cassandra and this got her hurt. I could have gotten past that over time. The door he found himself in front of while doing all of that pushed me too far. Gods have a long reputation of being jealous, petty, vindictive, and destructive. He lived up to that reputation. I was already having a difficult enough time with Cassandra risking herself for such a horrid coven but for him to leave Cassandra destroyed and head where he did...he's not worthy of her. Yet. She may forgive, I need more.

I was at the edge of my sit the WHOLE TIME

Especially when the dark goddess appears and her really identity is.....

Kyro is the 5th Brother !! We learn why he has no supernatural offspring like the rest of his brothers. He creates gold and the heat of the sun !! He is very charismatic and he also has some magic in his fingers

Cassandra she is a witch and she is a very powerful one but she doesn't know it and the high witches wont acknowledge. I love her for her passion for nature and fighting for what she believes in especially when it come to people's lives.

I love Kyro always leaves a gold rose for her !!

I couldn't wait for Pretty Face it drove me crazy to wait a whole month for it !! I read it and it did not disappoint. My review is coming soon for that one !!

RELEASING OCTOBER 31ST, 2020

You cannot help but love Kyro and Cassandra and how the chemistry between the two leaves you enthralled in their relationship. They both feed off each other's energies and witty attitudes.

Cassandra has always been the outcast, not strong enough to truly be included in the inner workings of the covens, day to day. Kyro, going through the motions of life, living without his family and just existing. We see two people not comprehending that they were made for each other, it was a fleeting feeling that would be done once they saved the coven.

This is the 5th book in the fallen gods series and I feel it is the best book in this series yet! Can’t wait to see what happens in the last two books? Will this family be able to save the world from the darkness?

Another great book in the Fallen Gods series. I instantly fell in love with Cassandra, her bright hair and loving, energetic personality made living her quick and easy. Now no-one scream at me but I didn't love Otro at first, the sexy playboy isn't usually my thing, but I confession fell for him slowly but, whole hearted and completely just as Cass did. For me I am really starting to anticipate and get excited for when the men and mates all meet towards the end. Its like puzzle pieces that easily click into place and you can't wait to see what the ending will be!! Definitely looking forward to the oldest brother next Khalid, oh my tortured skin walker.

I am already a big fan of this series so I knew I’d enjoy this book ! This was a fun read! This book had a lot of laugh out loud moments! These characters were hilarious! There was one scene with a spider… it had me snort laughing ! These characters are just as well created as the others in this series, lots of steam, witty banter and suspense and mystery that kept me thoroughly entertained! So far, this brother is the most humorous . but that does not take away from his lethalness and his “ Blue Rose” is so endearing you cannot help but adore her. This was a great addition to a really entertaining series!

5th book, but first review

I really enjoyed the first 4 books in this series. I sadly didn't leave a review (will go back to do so) until now because I wasn't sure if I would keep liking them. Often a series will start off well and fade as it tries to rush or feel like it is filling space without substance as it develops. This one has been pretty solid on the storyline through all 5 of the books so far. Each story can stand alone if you come into the world somewhere after book 1, but it is much better in order as a whole because of how she builds the overreaching story arc.

Looking forward to books 6 & 7, and will read more by this author in the future.

Kyro is sexy, there is no denying that. I’m really enjoying these shorter stories of the fallen gods. I mean no joke though I could totally take these 5 brothers so far for a harem. I’m sure the last 2 also but I haven’t gotten to them yet. Anyway I love the way Kyro and Cass fall in love. Although Kyros cold feet was a little less desirable I do love that we got more of the story and I cannot wait to read about the hunter. Also someone needs to be leaving me gold roses.

I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an advanced reader copy.

I greedily devoured their journey.

These characters immediately swept me away. Their intensity and the heat that flowed between them was an inferno I couldn’t wait to be burned by. I felt their emotions buried deep within me sparked to life. Their insecurities mine. The depth of the story astounded me. I felt connected and greedily devoured their journey. The sass and giggles and heat, I could not get enough! I always love seeing this world expand and getting little glimpses at all the fun the past characters are up to now.

skin suits and laughs

K.A. Knight nails yet another paranormal tale. Its humorous, snarky, and full of heat. The war is coming and they can't fathom the darkness it's bringing.
Rose is a blue haired, misjudged, klutz of a witch with a heart of gold. Kyro is a bronzed Adonis (literally) with a soul on fire. Neither have ever felt the love most are touched with on a daily basis and fight eachother at every turn. I, on the other hand would gladly volunteer to be on the receiving end of his heated touch.

Another example of the way Katie can always surprise you with a different book, no matter how many she writes! This series has been a bit dark, but the banter between Kyro and Cassandra gave a lighter note to the story. Their chemistry was clear from the beginning, even though they seemed to fight it. These books are shorter, but as they’ve gone on, Katie has built the world around them and us readers start to get a glimpse of the bigger arc that she has created for all of these characters. I am dying for the next one!

Cassandra and Kyro

Cassandra is a witch but not much of one. The coven doesn't want her. She is a good soul just looking for someone to love her. Kyro is a god. They are drawn to each other and not sure why. They join forces to defeat a demon that has been killing witches. They find him and try as they might he is hard to defeat. Kyro is scared to fall for her, she needs someone better than him. Cassandra realizes he is for her. She lets him know but he takes off when she needs him most. Then he comes to his senses. Is it too late? Really enjoying this series

Holy hotness! I could not put this down, this series just keeps getting hotter!
Cassandra is a witch, a witch who loses control of her spells more often than not, which is why the coven looks down on her, treating her like a lower class citizen, until murders happen in her town. Kyro just seems to pop into cassandras life causing more stress and angst.
This is a brilliant story. i cannot wait for the next one!

The next in the Pretty.. series

does not disappoint. Again we get strong & thoroughly loveable characters in Cassandra and Kyro.  I especially love the golden roses.

There is a twist/revelation which heightens the anticipation of the rest of the series. And of course, there's the reunion with the brothers we've already met and their mates. The bond between them all is growing stronger and is beautiful to read.

Pretty Hot
Book 5 of the Fallen God books

Pretty Hot definitely does not disappoint.  I can't decide now which is my favorite in the series they're all so good. It seems like every time the next one comes out that becomes my favorite 😀 It has a dark and steamy element but in just the right way. Once I started reading it was so fast-paced and intriguing I could not put the book down. I loved Cassandra's story! Definitely recommend reading.

Wow this amazing love story between Kyro and Cassandra quickly became one of my favourites. Both of these guy's have loved and lost so many people and have huge scars on their souls from that. But they are so drawn to each other that they have to decide if a once in forever chance at a perfect mate is worth risking their hearts. All while the are hunting huge evil of course!!!

This couple

This couple is hands down my favourite of these series.
They are so much fun even tho they both have so many issues, the chemistry between these 2 are pretty hot, as is the leading god of this story. And again Katie gave all the characters their own character without it even remotely being repetitive. Amazing yet again!

The best so far

This book was so good. The best one so far and just loved Kyro! He is my favorite brorher and Cassandra was just perfect for him. I laughed so hard from this book and also has tears. Getting closer to the end of this series and I can't wait. They keep getting better and I like getting little bits of all the other brothers and mates too.

So, so good!!

This series can be read as standalone books, but each builds to the next. This is Kyro and Cassandra/Rose's story...my favorite so far. The humor, banter, chemistry, suspense and steaminess make this a fast-paced, over to soon quick read. Everyone needs a Kyro in their life! Definitely recommend this book, this series and this author.
