This issue is quick. It starts with Rekala and Essen fighting the men on the docks, and Rekala frees the children, which are needed to brew this drug, it seems. The two fight one of the main henchmen, and when he is defeated and tossed through a wall, we see that Essen’s brother is involved with whatever is going on. Or he could potentially be Stagger. I can’t remember if we have seen that character or not yet. I was very shocked to see him as one of the bad guys, though. It was a good twist!

I’m worried about the last issue. Essen is dealing with some severe life struggles, and I don’t want him to die!

Reading the action scenes of this series feels like watching a tv show. It's vivid and I love it. The twist at the end caught me off guard. I was surprised, but also disappointed that it had to happen.
