"Skye Callahan created a hero with dark delicious edges. The Redline Series is everything a romance should be." Pepper Winters, NYT Bestselling Author
the bestselling author of Irrevocable comes an adrenaline-packed romantic suspense where two worlds collide in pain, pleasure, lust, and danger....
I screwed up.
Indebted to a vile "businessman", he offers one chance to pay back my debt, but only if I spend the next two years stripping in his club. Stripping. Catering to the most debauched men I can imagine.
Until I meet Colt.
A man just as twisted. Just as dangerous. But once I willingly climb into his car, I know there's no turning back. Now, I'm indebted to a car thief. And he has no intent of letting me forget our deal.
I prefer cars to people. Simple as that.
There's nothing like the roar of a V8 engine, especially if I just stole it and I'm barreling down the highway past every oblivious cop in town. I need adrenaline. The rush. The never-ending pull. It's the only thing that keeps me away from my other vice...
And then, I decided to bring a stripper home. Someone I can introduce to my love of pain. And even better, a pawn in my ultimate plan for revenge against my brother.
Call me cliche. Call me petty. But once this plan is set into action. Ashville will never be the same.
Once the fuse is ignited, Colt and Aubrey have no choice but to watch their worlds burn.

This review is for Clutch, but I'm giving you my thoughts for the whole series, because I have to. I lived and breathed this series within a few days.
Explosive ride from start to finish. This journey was filled with broken- unforgettable characters, suspense, action, and angst.
Clutch is the final book in The Redline Series, they all need to be read in order. It's a dark start with everything in between. I hope I can do Skye Callahan justice with this review. I absolutely loved this series, it literally took over my life, when I wasn't reading I was thinking about reading, getting back to Colt and Aubrey. So many things that made this series a hit for me. I'll try to convey my love and why it's a favorite for me.
"Nowhere to run. And an entire family of criminals waiting to kill us all."
The story is about sibling rivalry, revenge, and a girl in the middle. I was completely hooked, the beginning shows the depths one will go to seek revenge. All the while you are hanging on for dear life wondering what caused a rift so dark between two brothers. Ruthlessness it was. The middle had me heart-broken, shattered. We find out the devastation and what led Colt to destruction. This could be a trigger for some, I read dark books all the time, but drug use hits me hard. I was in shambles, clutching my kindle hoping there was light at the end of the tunnel. My heart was in my throat for the last few books. Each book felt like another episode, I was attached, I needed the next one like I needed air. The series is told like a mini series on cable TV, and I wanted another season, that's how much I loved it. I was afraid to open Clutch, I knew it was the last book, do I end this epic journey or pretend this isn't the end?
“Devlin wanted to push us both over the edge. In some ways, he succeeded, but it seems that over that edge, we both found our wings as we struggled to fix each other before we hit the bottom of the gorge.”
I have to talk about the characters. Devlin- The Villain. Yes, he was in all ways dark, disturbing, lacked a soul. I equally loved and hated him. I'm usually all for the bad guys, but I wanted him to burn in HELL. Colt was pure silk and devastation, unapologetic, and bad boy down to the bones. <-- In love. totally in love. Omg. There was a glimmer of heart slowing seeping out, but he always stayed true to his character. You weren't getting hearts and flowers, if that's what you expected then you haven't been reading the same books as me. Aubrey, spit fire, strong, yet needed a bond that only Colt could provide. Could these two find peace? Or were they all destined to burn?
My heart was racing while writing this review. This was unforgettable, full of tension and longing. I'm putting this series on my favorites list. If you love suspense and action, broken yet loveable characters, and a storyline full of angst. READ THIS!!!

From the bestselling author of Irrevocable comes an adrenaline-packed romantic suspense where two worlds collide in pain, pleasure, lust, and danger….
I screwed up.
Indebted to a vile “businessman”, he offers one chance to pay back my debt, but only if I spend the next two years stripping in his club. Stripping. Catering to the most debauched men I can imagine.
Until I meet Colt.
A man just as twisted. Just as dangerous. But once I willingly climb into his car, I know there’s no turning back. Now, I’m indebted to a car thief. And he has no intent of letting me forget our deal.
Once the fuse is ignited, I have no choice but to watch my world burn.
I prefer cars to people.
Simple as that.
There’s nothing like the roar of a V8 engine, especially if I just stole it and I’m barreling down the highway past every oblivious cop in town. I need adrenaline. The rush. The never-ending pull. It’s the only thing that keeps me away from my other vice…
And then, I decided to bring a stripper home. Someone I can introduce to my love of pain. And even better, a pawn in my ultimate plan for revenge against my brother. Call me cliche. Call me petty. But once this plan is set into action. Ashville will never be the same.
Dark and gritty, full of twists and turns! An extremely engrossing storyline. A must read series!!
This book was an adrenaline filled ride that had me on the edge of my seat!! I loved everything about it!
There is a dark side to every city and there are people who control the darkness. Aubrey naively stepped right into the city's darkness and is caught in it's web. It is rush to be thrown right into that darkness trying to figure out along with Aubrey who can help her, which man is the lesser evil and what she will give up for potential freedom.
Colt is very alpha sexy with questionable motives. I like his character just because he is that bad boy that you need to stay the h*ll away from! He has a lot of darkness surrounding him and inside of him.
Devlin is the kind of evil character I love. Being able to feel my skin crawl because I just don't know what Devlin will do next, is something I rarely experience. I love the unknown in those types of characters and Skye Callahan keeps me guessing at every turn.
The pace of this book was very fast and kept me engaged throughout!
This book was way deep. So deep that I couldn't stop reading once I started it. Aubrey with her life that is total chaos and Colt with his addictive and sadistic ways. These two fight thorough hell to gain their freedom and get their lives back. So many ups and downs and twist and turns will make you see red at some of these characters. Excellent writing and a awesome storyline. I was very thrilled at the ending but also the way the author handle each and every character. My hats off to anyone who can conquer an addiction. ❤️❤️
This series is great i have loved all the books, but to get them in one set so you can start the next one after the first is amazing. Trust me when you get to the end of each book in the series you will be wanting to start the next one straight away. They are action packed, full of scorching romance and keep you guessing about what will happen ext. The men are alpha but with a side dose of loyal and sweet for their women.
I have been holding off this series for a while. I wasn't sure if I would be able to get into it and enjoy it. Well I did enjoy it. Like the characters and thought the story line was great! It kept me interested through the whole series.
This book sure was something else. I honestly don’t even know where to start. I actually don’t even know if I’m happy with giving it three stars. At times I felt like this book was at a five star level and at times at three stars at most. Confusing really, but the good kind of confusing.
What I can really appreciate in a book is it’s originality and it’s own plot and idea. Too often I feel like I’m reading - maybe not ripoffs, but books too closely inspired and lead by other books or themes. This book however is one of a kind. It had its own plot, it’s own idea. I don’t know if it was inspired by something else (don’t think there is anything out there that isn’t, honestly) but I have never read anything similar.
I like that the author put an effort to making the plot and storyline a bit more complex and complicated than a simple and easy to follow plot one usually find in a book. While some may find it more relaxing to read that, I prefer a story closer to real life. Because what life is easy? Who’s relationship is not messy from time to time? And who lives a black and white life? It’s supposed to be gray, it’s supposed to be a bit complicated and messy. Not everything is happy and rainbows and all that stuff. We all have downfalls and insecure moments and this author expertly wrote an entire story complementing that. It made me feel much stronger for the characters and it made their flaws and downfalls so much more real. That is a great way to invest a reader in the story.
Then there were things that I could not get behind. I’m guessing that this was a series of books made into one which made the story so long. Ordinarily I would not have a problem with that, but even if I look separately at every volume, the story sometimes just wore on and on and not developing at a good pace. I at some parts even got bored with the story. Even if I look individually at one of the parts (that I think is supposed to be one book of the series) it does not follow well the other parts well. There is a rise and excitement in the beginning and in the end. The middle part needs to be spiced up a bit.
Another thing that I missed is the strong connection between Aubrey and Colt. I never felt that they really belonged together. I mean, they had barely anything else to talk about except what they have been through. I never felt like they connected on any emotional level or that there was much else between them than sexual tension and perhaps a hint of care. This is fine in the beginning of the story, but I wish their relationship would have built up to something more stronger, developed into a more loving and open relationship with both more fun and relaxing moments as well as the tougher and painful moments. There were just always a bit to much tension and too little bonding.
Overall, I really enjoyed the story and absolutely recommend others to read it
What is wrong with people???!!! The ratings said how great this was...NOT! Crime, drugs, strippers being drugged, women forced to have rough sex and being manipulated and threatened, men who lower themselves to the devil for money. This world is one hell of a mess, WHY would anyone want to read about such disgusting behaviors! Triggers and then some big time!!!
Another set of books by one of my new favourite authors. Gritty, harsh with a complex plotline that ties up all the edges at the end. Took me two days to finish the set, had to keep reading whenever I had a couple free minutes. Highly recommended
The Redline Series.... Could. Not. Put. It. Down! I have always enjoyed Skye Callahan's books, but she has out done herself with this series. Love, pain and everything in between, that's what you will get with this book, oh and some steam!
IGNITION The vague prologue about Colt had me so ready to learn more about him and his dark side. I was hooked right from the first chapter. I loved the connection between Colt and Aubrey, and even the different relationships they both had with Devlin in their own way. There are so many things I want to know, so many questions running through my head, about both Colt and Aubrey and after the way this one ended, I’m dying for more! It was such a good, little dark read and the start of a story/series that I know I’m going to be caught up in.
TORQUE I loved that this book continued right on from the previous story in Colt’s POV… damn, his character is drop dead hot. I loved getting to know more about both Colt and Aubrey and what they’ve been through to get to where they were. Their connection with each other just grew and I loved the back and forth between them even in those heated moments. Since Colt knew his cars and was a car thief I’ve been dying to find out what kind of car he actually drives! But no mention of it… yet.
BRAKE These novellas get even more addicting! My God… these are good. This one was much darker and full of suspense, I thought, but it didn’t make me love it any less, I definitely enjoyed it more. My heart was in my throat in the times where it didn’t hurt in my chest reading about these characters and getting to know their pasts even more. I think Colt and Aubrey are just perfect together and for each other, I loved the other side that Colt shows when it comes to her.
EXHAUST Knowing this is the second to last book in this series I tried to reel in my reading… but who am I kidding, these books are page turning and just straight up addictive. Still loving the fact that it picks up right where the previous book left from. I loved that this novella was a little longer than the previous 3 which meant more Colt and Aubrey in one go! God I just love these two. My heart broke for Aubrey and in turn Colt in this book. Should I hate and despise Devlin? I feel like I should… but damn there’s something about the evilness and a-hole side of him that stops me from hating him… just a little even after all that he’s done. I felt the same for Merc too, I was really starting to like his character in this one. My God that ending?! Give me more!
CLUTCH After the way Exhaust ended, I couldn’t not delay diving straight into this one even knowing it is the last book in this series… I didn’t want it to end! I absolutely loved going on Aubrey and Colt’s journey with them. I felt this one had a little more humour between these characters, which I just loved, along with the usual darkness found in this series in the beginning. There was still a lot of action along with heart stopping and sobbing moments… I mean Colt towards the end?! My heart! I loved seeing him with someone so tiny and delicate and bringing out that protective side in full force was something to love. So sad to see this series end but I loved every addicting minute of it, a definite recommendation to everyone who loves dark, hot and suspenseful romances.
Indebted to a vile "businessman", he offers one chance to pay back my debt, but only if I spend the next two years stripping in his club. Stripping. Catering to the most debauched men I can imagine.

The Redline Series: (Sins of Ashville: The Redline Series 1-5)
### 5 Hashtags ###
A really good gripping series, that will keep you hooked throughout ....an easy 5 stars.
This wasn’t at all what I expected, I thought I was going into a normal romantic suspense series, however I was very pleasantly surprised. This book is really quite dark in places and kept me on my toes all the way through, not really knowing which direction this story was going in. I love a dark read and this one totally nailed it.
I wont give the story away, you really do have to one-click and see for yourself, you definitely wont want to put it down.
Fast moving with lots of twists. The red line series kept me reading all night. I recommend this series of you like bad boys finding their way to a better life.
This is a complete series. There's also trigger warnings for some, as book three gets dark. There's also references to forced and not forced drug references. Book one:
We have three characters in this book. Aubrey, Devlin, and Colt. Aubrey, she's the country girl who has the high hopes of making it on her own in the big world. Colt and Devlin, they're brothers. Let's just say, they don't see eye to eye. The one time they do it's wanting Aubrey. Neither of these two are the type any woman would willing run to. But is it safer then to pick the devil you know? Not in this case. These characters drew me in. I was curious and had to know more. They didn't disappoint. This book is a page turner, with a killer cliffhanger. As it's a short read, I don't want to give too much away. I will say it's a fast paced, angsty, thrill ride. This is my first time reading this author, and it won't be the last. Off to book two which is out at the time of this review. I would recommend this book.
Book two:
The Dark and trigger warning hasn't come in to effect, yet. I'm hoping with that cliffhanger, it's on the way. I still lean more toward thriller genre, as of this book. Okay so the ground work was laid for an interesting book as we came to book two. This book was fast paced with all things criminal. We also get more in-depth into our characters. Aub's is still digging for answers to things Colt has no answers to. If course Devlin the Devil, is still ever present and on a mission to make everyone pay in his adventure to own the city and everyone in it.
Book three: This is told in multiple POVs As my earlier reviews stated, there was no trigger warnings. That all changed, this book has a definite few. There is forced heavy drug use, kidnapping, and other vile things you'll have to read to find out. This book picks up right after book two with the kidnapping. I had a feeling once Devlin got involved that warning would be needed. And it surely was.. Devlin has his sights set on torture and winning. He doesn't care who stands in his way, they'll go down too. Even if he takes his brother to the lowest pits of Hell to make that possible. Aub's is fighting to stay alive. But is it really worth it?? To have to live in fear for herself, her family?? It maybe easier to just give into death. Will she keep fighting to stay alive for, Colt? Will Colt even want her back after all Devlin has done her to physically, mentally, and emotionally. Especially after he has enough Colt's biggest demon back from beyond the grave (no it's not PNR, you'll have to read to understand). On to book four. I can't stop. I need to know. I'm so far into these characters lives, I have to hope they find peace so I can rest.
Book four: There's not any triggers in this book, but in the previous book, there's a strong warning. I didn't think I would be still so drawn into these characters. I mean especially after the last book, how's the author going to top that and keep my interests?? Have faith because she has. I just can't quit. The characters, story, everything just has me turning the pages.
Colt has so much going on, he's not sure if he's finding a way back, walking around with a target on his back, or falling so far into his old ways that he'll never find his way out of Hell.
Aub's, she's not sure where her mind has her. I mean after last book, I'm amaZed she can function at all. The constant nightmares, trying to find a balance in a life and body that no longer belong to her. Those moment when they were out of their minds come back to haunt EVERY one involved.
Devlin. The Devil, he actually got a head of himself. Doing things he thought would never be found out. But Merc, he has eyes in more places than anyone knew.
Personal relationships are all stretched to the max, along with professional ones. I need to move onto book five. I'm on the edge of my seat how this is all going to end. Hopefully our characters (even side ones), get that HEA. I'm scared!! I would highly recommend these all up to this point.
Book five: Closure. All I can say, this was one wild ride. I didn't know how everything was going to be wrapped up. I had so many questions and no answers going into this one. Even though everything was dealt with, some not so happily, I still want more. These characters just kept me pulled into their twisted webs of drugs, deceit, and anything else along the way. I could keep reading them (hint hint). Skye started out a new to me author, but I will definitely be reading more.
Dark story line, forced consent, attempted rape, torture, drug use, forced drug use, murder......This series is NOT for the faint of heart!
I devoured this entire series in just a few days. I was hooked to the story and how the situations would play out. Aubrey is such a strong female lead, her endurance is astounding. Colt's journey has me rooting for the bullied little guy.
I can't say its a great story because of all the bad stuff that went down, but it is a journey worth taking. Everything is wrapped up with a nice HEA at the end, but it is a believable conclusion to such a horrific story.
A stripper who's clumsy as hell, and caught in the middle of two brothers, Aubrey finds herself with the 'nicer' brother Colt. He says he can help her but he has his own problems and agenda. A car thief with secrets and a vendetta against his brother, Colt doesn't exactly come across as a nice man (of course I LOVED him!). Aubrey is piggy in the middle of Colt and his brother and her situation doesn't look like it's going to improve any time soon. Colt is fighting his own battles, he does things he shouldn't do, regrets it, then does what he does best and behaves like an ass (I LOVE this man). Fighting his addiction and plotting his revenge, while been pulled in different directions and dealing with Aubrey, he's struggling to cope. Devlin is determined to destroy Colt and knowing he's not falling for Devlin's plan makes him reassess what's important to Colt....Aubrey. Aubrey has always been stuck between a rock and a hard place but with Devlin kicking things up a notch, will Colt be able to get to her in time? I love to hate Devlin, i really do. Starting to build up to the climax, Aubreys and Colts relationship changes yet again. With Colt determined to end his part in the family's business, it's all coming to a head. Full of ups and downs, countless twists and turns, drama, tension, sex and loads of attitude, this book will grab you and not let go. From the first page I was hooked. With characters you love to hate, just plain love and some you just plain hate, this book will keep you wondering what's going to happen next.
Ignition I had no idea what to think when I started reading this book but wow was it good. I had no idea what was happening. How did Aubrey get into this mess? Who is Devlin and Colt? What was their end game? Well none of these questions were answered because the book ends in a cliffhanger which makes me want to jump right into reading the next book. Can't wait to see what happens next.
Torque Now things are starting to get going! I really love Aubrey she has a lot of fight in her and do what she has to, to survive and protect her family. The ending almost killed me I was like "NOOOO!" can't wait to see what happens in book 3.
Brake This book was sooo good! I felt so bad for Aubrey I couldn't believe what Devlin was doing to her. And then when we find out why Devlin is doing this to Colt I was surprised at how far Devlin will go. This is a crazy book and I want to know how things are going to end I can't stop reading.
Exhaust Omg I was not expecting this at all! This book was crazy! Loved it but man cliffhanger!!! On to the next book!
Clutch Wow what an ending to an awesome series! I couldn't believe all the things that happened to Aubrey and Colt. I felt bad for what happened to Jace. Colt turned out to be not such a bad guy and Aubrey was able to overcome the things that happened to her and be a family with Colt. Great book!
The whole series from start to finish filled with suspense and one heck of fight between two brothers.
This series has everything I love, dark twists & turns with action filled with gritty drama that's packed into a thrilling ride.
Aubrey causes more chaos between two brothers Colt and Devlin when she unwittingly steps into Devlin's darkly twisted world. However, when Colt offers Aubrey a deal to get out of Devlin's clutches she takes it - but is Colt really the best option?
Colt is the bad boy who is mysteriously broken with self destruction, so when he helps Aubrey it's because he's attracted to something more in her than her looks.
Devlin, meanwhile,is just a evil villain who for once in a series,I really cannot stand and want him to suffer because I think it's out of my love for Colt and his dark brooding.
Aubrey,at times, although seemingly hits rock bottom, still makes you like with her feistiness and edge that has Colt almost breaking.
This is must read series that has you gripped from start to finish. Which brother will win the war and will Aubrey survive with her heart, body and soul intact?
When I first started to read this book I wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. So as the story started developing I found myself really invested in it, I was looking forward to see what would happen next. After some time I started to love the author’s writing style and the way she introduced each character to life, it made me feel like I was a part of their world.
It was great to have the complete series in one book and I loved the idea of the continuous storyline. Although I did feel like some minor parts of the book did seem to go by pretty fast, overall I loved and really enjoyed reading it especially the hot and intense interactions between Devlin, Colt and Aubrey. It was a story I could not put down, a definite 5 star read, and I highly recommend this book to everyone who loves dark and erotic romances.
Excellent writing and a awesome story-line.
I was very thrilled at the ending but also the way the author handle each and every character. My hats off to anyone who can conquer an addiction. ❤️❤️
All I can say is WOW! This series was my first Skye Callahan read and it certainly won't be the last. I received the series for free from the author in exchange for my review. The writing is amazing! The twists and turns are many. The characters are so well written and multi faceted that sometimes you don't know whether to love or hate them. This was an edge of your seat thrill ride of a series that I very highly recommend to fans of dark romances. I was enthralled and many times had trouble putting it down.
I liked this book very much, although it was tough at the beginning to find my way into the story. I felt a little thrown into the cold water, trying to catch up, always feeling like i missed some chapters. This could have been solved more elegantly, to introduce the reader into the story and characters.
What i found precious was that these protagonists for once weren't the "good people ". The author found a perfect line exploring between weaknesses and strengths of the characters and still made them attractive and authentic for me.
