Ryan is a wanderer since he finally got out of bed and started participating in life again of a sort. He is passing through town when he rescues a dog from certain death and almost got knocked over. The emotional owner of the dog, Cassie, hugs him as thanks. This is their cute meet and from this we encounter stalking, flirting, pain of loss and the pain of being vulnerable and resolution. Very impactful and sexy.
