My name is Jessica Borras (J.L. LaPointe) and I'm a newly published author from Dade City, Fl.

Chronicles of the Mythical Rebellion: The Origin was my debut novel and the first in a series in which Izzy travels to different lands in order to build a rebellion and confront the corrupt king. I'm currently finishing up the third book in this series, and I'm super excited about where it's going. Keep an eye out, fun things are coming!

This book is great for young readers and adults alike. The innocence and passion in young Izzy is commendable. Seeing his character growth through the chapters and losing some of that innocence upon finding a different world from his own. Finding the rebellion and choosing to fight for what is right for not only his species, but other species as well. Definitely a great story for a nightly read with your child or to just escape this reality. I enjoyed this thoroughly and recommend it to anyone and everyone.
