This giant boxed set included all 12 books in the original series!

Olivia Beaufont likes fixing things and keeping to herself. She’s simple like that—but her life is about to drastically change.

Although Liv would rather stay out of the politics and conspiracies that she ran away from years ago, her family needs her. It’s only a twelve-year stint until her sister, the next in line, can take over.

So, what’s the harm in activating her magic and accepting her place as a warrior?

Everything.

Justice hasn’t been properly served by the House of Seven in a long time.

WOW!
What a series! From little lost girl to saviour of the world and what a world Sarah Noffke has created. Magicians, Giants, Fae, Gnomes and demons galore. A cast of characters that you want to love and hate. Lots of adventures, plots and counterplots with new villains who Liv has to overcome on her journey to eventually save the world. I read this series in about 12 days.
I say again WOW!

The books grab your attention and don't let you go

These are some of the best books I have read during the lock down. They are full of action and magic races with characters that I would love to meet. Liv would be one of my favourite lead characters, being a really strong and magically gifted young woman with a passion for justice. This set kept me entertained for close to two weeks and I am a little sad to have finished it. I look forward to reading the spin off series featuring Sophia starting with the first three books.

Best series I’ve read!

I hate to leave this series. It’s so sad. I’ll miss all my friend that I’ve made reading.
You all need to read this series, Rory, Rudolf, John, Bermuda, and don’t forget Plato. They’ll have you laughing, crying and just plain want to slap someone silly. I read them everyday I had that few minutes to myself and before I went to sleep, just to see what happens! These books are definatly not boring by any means. Read them then you will see what I mean.

10/10

If I could give this series more than 5 stars, I would. The adventure, the character development, the humor, the relationships. I read probably more books than I should, so when I say this series brought me to tears, to full blown sobbing multiple times; I mean it. If you’re hesitant on the read, I encourage you to embark on the journey of The Unstoppable Liv Beaufont series. It’s made it’s place in my top 10 for the year, and is wonderfully written.

Awesome Liv Beaufont

Has you from the start and takes you on the most amazing ride, can’t wait for the end because it is so exciting and it is over so sad, will read again in a year or two as I always see the small things I missed in the excitement of the first read. This book has everything but most important is that without each other the bad guy wins.

This series has it all

From witty dialogue and lovable characters to interesting plothooks and action packed drama the series has it all. The story is nicely paced, the humour is on point and the characters are all great, each with their own thoroughly explored personality. You won't regret picking it up.

A SPELL Binding series!!!! (pin intended)

A fantastic set of books!! It was hard to stop for a night too sleep! I was totally wrapped up in Liv's life. Cheering for her throughout! I think this would make a terrific movie, t.v. Series, or at least a mini series.
Thank you for a great read!!

Love the series

What a series.
Smart, sassy, short young adult, hurt in life, recovering, gets her magic back, believes in justice and willing to fight and risk all for it.
Try this set, I didn't regret it and I do not think you will.
Btw, do NOT forget to read the authors notes!!!!!!!!!!!

Epic Saga.

Just finished the 12th and final book in this wonderful series. The journey takes the reader on an epic journey involving magical creatures , some good some evil. There is humour, pathos, cruelty, and a gentle love story and each book is an excellent read. I have really enjoyed Liv's story and recommend the saga very highly. Read and enjoy as much as I did.

Another Day at the Office

I just finished the Liv Beaufont 12 book series. That's a lot of very enjoyable reading. I enjoyed the character development and all the unique situations they find themselves in. Each book only got better and it was a wonderful read. Thanks for the fun, humor and the emotions.

Love the main character, funny and courageous. Enjoyed the whole series. Zoomed through it in just under a week, so easy to read. Light and fun fantasy book with a little bit of underlying romance but nothing graphic or PG. A really good read. Glad I could read all of them one after the other.

Absolutely Great!

Really loved this story. Being able to get all 12 books in one was very nice. Liv Beaufont is awesome. She makes a great superhero. I love how she doesn’t always have the answers but manages to find her way out of every situation. She has a great personality, a worthy role model. I don’t think there were a lot of bad words in this book. And it was clean of sexual content. Suitable for any age. I found the book fascinating enough to read it nonstop beginning with book one all the way through 12. And I can’t wait to read about her little sister Sophia in the next series. The book has all kinds of mystical creatures in it.

An Inpressive collection

So this magical zany collaboration actually works as Noffkes live story hyped to fantasy levels with ditzy humour brings great life to the series. Also 12 books together for non stop reading keeps us on a marathon adventure. The familial bonding brings a nice realism to this, and hey with magic anything is possible so chuckles abound as we read through world events and characters we also knew about, but might just have more personality than we knew.
A must have for any collection even if this is a first fantasy foray.

2700 + Pages of Laugh Out Loud Humor, Spunk and Endearing Characters

I loved these books because you can feel the authors personality come through the unfolding of the story. I was never bored and sincerely appreciated the reminders of how precious family is and that family includes everyone we love, not just those who are born to the same parents. I am a sucker for the "Good vs Evil" type story and this series is filled with this very theme.

My only gentle criticism is to have better proof reading as there are words that need to be corrected.

Another great tale ... The difference here is the 30th of the story!!!

Great tale, engaging storyline and characters but the big difference between this and the last I read is the depth and story... I like the easy read of a fantasy magic tale but was pleasantly surprised by the better length of the books and the depth of the sub stories herein. No hum, really good stuff! Thanks!l!!

Amazing series!

Oh how I loved this series! Found myself laughing and crying too many times to count. Liv is everything I imagined myself to be as a kid. Life had other plans so I thoroughly enjoyed reading about how she lived her life!
Thank you so much making real the life I missed out on!
Looking forward to seeing Sophia's attitude will upset the grumpy old Dragon Riders stagnant views!

You can’t buy this book quickly enough!!!!

Let me put it this way:

If you’re already a fan of Sarah Noffke’s work, but haven’t yet started this series, than you have absolutely ZERO concept of what awaits you.

If you have read some of Sarah’s other work and found yourself, shall we say, less than impressed, but have not yet started to explore this series, than let me assure you, you have ZERO concept of what awaits you.

If you HAVE read this series and are just reading the reviews to see what others have said, then you ALREADY KNOW what I’m talking about and are hopefully laughing along with me at this moment.

Sarah’s works are a mixed bag of nuts in some respects. The stories are always engaging, but Sarah’s issue is that she has so MUCH story bottled up inside her that if the format is too short, than the whole thing ends up feeling rushed and the reader feels almost like they’ve been “pushed” over the finish line marked by the final sentence.

So let me blunt and say just one thing: 12 books. That’s not “rushing” things by anyone’s definition, and, in fact, it is just enough space for her to end the story just as her feet plant onto a trampoline that then launches the her into NEXT series of Beaufont books. What better ending could one possibly hope for?

I’ll let you read the other reviews to get the details of why this series is so phenomenal in terms of style and content. I want to focus on the evolution of her writing. I read her Dream Travellers works last, after having read everything else she’s written. I was blown away, figuratively not literally, by the quality of the first three books which she produced alone and unassisted and according to her own inner muse.

If you haven’t read “The Lucidites,” let me tell you that it EASILY falls into the category of Great Literature. She wasn’t trying to produce “literature “ when she wrote it, but that’s perfect since no one TRYING to create literature ever does. If you HAVE read it, go back and read them again with this thought in mind and I’ll dare you to disagree.

With this series largely due to the her magical collaboration with Michael, she finds her strength and belief in herself once again to write from the truest part of herself that is so easy for any of us to lose when faced with the larger world. Mike did that with his first book, and the result ma were so overwhelming that it produced an entire publishing empire. No joke… empire… only no empresses here, just one queen in Louie Buitons (spelling?).

Sorry, if you don’t get the reference it’s an inside joke.

Last thought: this work so far surpasses her work in Mike’s original 2 universes, that I didn’t even realize she was the same author until she managed to patch in connections to those works for playful fun. It blew me away. And this is why I say whether you are a fan or not, you’re going to love THIS part of work like no other. So please…ENJOY!

YA adventure series

Alternate universe, magic, nonhuman races, YA urban fantasy

It's a great read for the price, and overall, well edited. There is plenty of rebellion and snark that teens will enjoy. Books 7 through 9, the snark got in the way, but it eased off afterward. Again, over 2700 pages for a dollar is a great deal and will provide a few days entertainment.

Minor continuity issues. Early on, Rory says tell Luc to eats carbs because it will help her sustain her energy levels, but later, he criticizes her for eating too many carbs. In book 11, Luc promises to return a horse she borrows, but simply abandons the animal miles away; with enemy defeated, she had time to do this, and repairing the damaged truck and returning it would have been good, too; one thing that will alienate humans from magicians are the broken promises even if they were made during an emergency. But that is skipped instead of being dealt with. Part of fighting for justice and diversity is being responsible and minding the details. The beta readers should have caught that.

On the other hand, Liv realizes and recognizes that her mother wasn't a traditional caregiver, with her father fulfilling that role. Not all women are made to be primary caregivers, and that doesn't make them bad or broken, they just need to find partners who can pick the slack.

Being a YA series, romance is flirted with but never engaged in. Kisses are to the cheek until book 12, and even then it's rare. Good, distinctive characters help a lot.

Delightful characters, but a good editor would have made a difference.

I loved the characters, Plato most of all. The writing was okay. Not bad tonight to set aside, but not good enough to binge read.
Basic story = girl left her family's business out of grief after the death of her parents and made herself a home where she was relatively happy. Her best friend is a magical cat. Cut to several years later, and she's called back to take over, along with her brother, because their older siblings have also died. Add in that they're all magicians, and Liv quickly finds herself battling magical foes by night while repairing broken appliances by day. Sleep, you ask? What is that?

Liv develops from a sarcastic young woman with a truly questionable sense of humor to a major kick-ass warrior with a truly questionable sense of humor. She also gathers a cadre of unusual and diverse friends, without whom she would never had won the day.

I have hopes that they hired an editor for the next batch. One more disappointment to share. Normally I love reading author's notes. Not these.

what would liv do?

fight for a better ending i hope... the last 3-4 books just seemed so rushed like you had to find a ending. her sword with which she bonded to was left out of so many places that should have involved it. there were also countless Inconsistencies Throughout the books. you need to fire who ever proof reads for you. they are obviously either yes men or simply not reading the actual story.

on the other hand liv was simply amazing, her sense of humor was on target with many lol scenes. i also liked that you took chances killing off many of those who were liked. in fact i cant say i really disliked any of the characters even the villains. most were thought out and brought to full life, only a few were flat. i do look forward to sophias adventures. good luck in that series.
