Y'all. Phew. I don't even know where to begin. This book had my heart breaking and racing by chapter 2. I had to take breaks thru the day so I could deal with the emotions I was feeling. I have never ever felt a book and it's characters the way I felt this.
As iam sitting here writing it iam still a hot mess. Jm walker took my soul and heart and pulled me into this magnificent book and journey. I wish I could be better with words on my review but I can only tell how I feel. BEST BOOK THIS YEAR.

I absolutely adore Piper and Jaron.

Jaron sacrificed himself to save Piper. When he came home to her he was not the same man. They had hurdles to overcome but their love for one another was so strong it bounced off of the page.

I loved seeing Jaron with Brynlee. Ovaries exploded!

This is my favorite couple of the series so far and I loved them all. Jaron and Piper hold a special place in my heart.

This story was amazing!

Piper and Jaron have been a long time coming. They kicked off the series with their short crazy novella. We have seen their story weaved through the other books and now we finally get a resolution their HEA.

Jaron is not a good guy, but Piper can only see his heart. Jaron will do anything to protect the woman he loves, and that love sends him to prison. When he gets out, the two are struggling to reconnect or figure out if this was just a hook up or is it more. They both have loved the other for so long but are both scared to open up. Fear rules their relationship for a long time. They have trust but honesty about how they feel and where they expect to go is also an issue for the couple. I loved that at times Cyrus and Sammy, who are a total hot mess, were the voices of reason for the couple.

Piper and Jaron finally hit a stride and begin to move forward when their past comes crashing back. The Mayor is not happy to see Jaron is out and living a good life. He hates Jaron and looks to make his life miserable.

When the Mayor’s plot to ruin Piper, Jaron and their new family comes to fruition, we worry they will be able to find their way back to one another. Again, thank God for Sammy and Cyrus. Those two are the best friends and brothers Jaron needs. Now if we can get them an HEA it would be amazing. Seeing the struggles they have over the death of their parents is still a trigger for me like it is for them.

This is book six in The Next Generation Series and it is Jaron and Piper's story . Omg this book is so emotional and it takes you on a journey of life's up's and downs and the sacrifices you will make for the one you love. This book takes you in right from the first page and keeps you on the edge of your seat until the last one wondering what will happen next and it rips you apart and then slowly puts you back together but it is not a easy journey for Jaron and Piper but when you have a love that is that strong you find yourself cheering for them to get the happy ending that they both deserve. J. M. Walker is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and makes you feel like you are there with them and going through everything that they are going through. I have absolutely loved every book in this series but I have to say that this one is definitely my favourite. I definitely recommend you read this book and series and you will definitely not be disappointed.

After Us...finally we get Jaron's and Piper's story. This story takes place after the events in the Before Us novella. The first part of the book is mainly feelings and emotions but not much action. Does this sound boring? Somehow JM Walker makes us care about these people so much that No, it is not boring. Jaron and Piper have always spoken with their bodies. This was how they explained how they felt. Fresh out of prison and new to living together, they now are experiencing so many new things as a couple. I like being in their heads privy to their thoughts.

The second half while still very emotional does have action. Caring about these characters I was on the edge of my seat. I was hoping for the best but fearing the worst. And JM Walker kept me on edge until the last page. I love this next generation series. After getting to know their parents in the earlier series, it is like catching up with old family friends. You can not go wrong with any of JM Walker's books.

Where do I even begin. Jaron went to jail after killing the mayors son for trying to rape Piper, and now he was finally getting out and to met his daughter and be reunited with his girl. Piper had all the feelings when it came time for Jaron to finally come home ad be with them again, she was happy to have him back in her arms, but scared that it wouldn’t last. Weeks went by and things were getting to be normal as they could be when Jaron was threaded by the scumbag of a mayor and threated Piper and Brynn. Well when threats are thrown at his girls Jaron and the club take actions into their own hands or will hey wait till something bad happens to get even. Do they have what it takes to keep their love strong when everything keeps pulling at them and shit really hits the fan. Omg i just loved their story although I’m not a fan of the moments that almost made me cry it was just the way the story had to go and J.M. Does a wonderful job to continue to pull you in and make you fall harder and harder for this family.

If you have read other books in this series you will be quite familiar with all of the characters and fall in love with them if you you haven't.
Piper and Jaron haven't had the best luck when it comes to their relationship, too many outside evils are out to destroy happiness before it can even begin, but we have to keep the faith and pray that love will conquer all once again.
The camaraderie within all of the different characters is phenomenal to say the least! Your heart will be ripped out of your chest more than once and then..... slowly it is delicately put back together stronger than before.
Oh how I LOVE seeing the parents talking in these books... the OG"S and once again if you haven't read the books about all of the Next Gen parents.. go now and one click them ALL and get to know how everything got started!!!
I have to give praise to JM Walker, she knows how to suck you into every one of her stories and keep you on the edge of you seat till the very end!!

I would say to get the very full story before Joron went to jail, read ‘Before Us’ before this then you will get the big picture of the cause of why Joron went into the system, as this story will cover what he went through and how his time changed his soul by added the demons from the experience. Piper also is a changed women from the previous cameos in the other stories. Now she’s the complete opposite and no longer with her friends/family she loves. She has her parents, Joron’s parents and Cyrus and Sammy in her life but she’s alone. This story will give you tears, steam, anger, laughter and the heart renching drama of loss (temporary) of a child, and mentioning of revenge from a secondary character that might be in a near future story. But overall this HFN story will give you a second chance of two souls that are made for each other. Told in both POVs plus a chapter told by Greyson (Joron’s father).

In Before Us, book 3 of the series, we got a little appetizer from Jaron and Piper.

There, we learned what happened that made Jarron thrown to jail.

This book start with when Jarron getting out of jail.

The drama is thick in this book. We see the struggle both Jarron and Piper face from his incarcenation. From her trauma of what happened. From being alone in preagnancy. From the dark that was jail.
They both suffered with scarred that only both of them become the healer to each other.

Good job on the drama part. But i got to say, the steamy part is lacking. İ mean, Jarron is one dirty and kinky MF. But i dont see much of his action here.
And the MC life and brotherhood? İts there in the background but only so thinly feels.

Jarron and Piper story for me more heavy on the drama. İ think thats what they need in their story to fight for their love.

I had been looking forward to reading this book. Jaron and Piper are my favorite couple in this series. Prior to this book they had already been to hell and back in "Before Us" (I highly recommend reading that before this one so that you are on the same page when starting this book).

Prepare yourself to feel all sorts of emotions in this book. The way JM Walker writes, it's easy to picture everything in your minds eye and feel what Jaron and Piper are feeling at that particular moment. I laughed, cried, felt their angst, sadness, fear, and happiness.

Their journey to a happily ever after is rough for them. Plus, being able to read both characters points of view several times thru out the book is a definite bonus. I can honestly say that this book is one of my absolute favorites of all time and I'm sure it will be yours too. Enjoy!

Heartachingly Beautiful!

I absolutely loved Jaron and Piper’s story. It consumed my heart and soul. The love that these two characters have for each other completely oozed off the pages and had me swooning with love. But the heartache that they both go through in order to make their relationship work had me crying uncontrollably for them. They take us on one hell of an emotional rollercoaster ride that leaves us breathless at every turn and begging for more of Jaron and Piper by the end.

This story is not only filled with heartache and love, but it also has some suspense, action and thrilling moments that will have you on the edge of your seat gripping your kindle tightly by the events unfolding in front of your eyes.

Beautifully written story that guts us at every turn but fills us with love by the end.

Some books you read and they leave you after some time has passed.

Some books you don’t even experience.

Then some books ARE the experience. What I mean by that is a book that takes you on a ride unlike anything you’ve ever imagined.

Even though I’ve said this exact thing before, I’ll continue to say it because it’s the god honest truth. Every book in the Next Generation Series gets better and better. The stories get grittier, the smexy times get hotter, and the emotions just pull you in and hold you right.

From the first book, Jaron has always been my favorite. Hands down. I knew there was something different about him, and I was so right. He’s different, damaged, but cares with everything he has in him. That’s what makes a good character.

Piper, I was rooting for her more than I ever have any other female character in this series. She’s been through so much and my heart ached for her. I’m glad she found her strength, and was able to move on when she did. It was such a satisfying feeling to read about.

I’m itching to get the next book in this series and I can assure you all that I’ll be gushing about it just like I did this one and every book that came before it. :)

I love the Next Generation Series. Every book is getting better and better in my opinion. I fell in love with Jaron and Piper in their novella and could not wait for more. JM did not disappoint at all. This book gave me so many different emotions. I absolutely hate the mayor and pray he gets everything he deserves.

I am so excited for more of this series. This book left me wanting more of Sammy and Cyrus.

This is a continuation to Piper and Jaron's story and picks up when he gets out of prison. He sacrificed himself to save Piper and when he came home, he was not the same man. There were things he needed to do while in prison to make sure he was able to come home to Piper and their daughter and that still weighs on him. It is a slow start to the story as Piper and Jaron are trying to get to know one another but it is so well written, and you are so invested in them that you don’t even realize how deep you are in before the action starts. When the Mayor does make his move against Jaron you are on the edge of your seat to see what will happen and if/how they will get through it as it is the first real test of their brand new relationship.

As with all of this authors books, After Us is beautifully written. It's emotional and will snatch your heart right out of your chest and then put you back together again leaving completely spent. Jaron and Piper's story had me in tears. Their journey is so heartbreaking and emotional, tragic and beautiful. He's already shown Piper what he's willing to do for her, how willing he is to protect her. These two love each other beyond all comprehension. As much as they love each other their path is definitely not an easy one. This is an absolute must read book. It's one of those books that leaves you needing to take a break to grieve because it's over.

wholly h.e.l.l. I hope your ready for piper and Jarons story. your going to need some kleenex and a soft place incase you drop your e reader because when things happen they are shocking.

now some of the contents of this book maybe hard to handle but know that even with them this wouldn't be what it is.... now really your going to love the firey attune from piper and swoon and the soft side that is Jaron that really only piper gets to see.

I can't wait to read the next on from the generation crew.... and if I didn't say it before make sure you read them in order other wise some content won't make sense

Wow what a continuation to Piper and Jaron's story! As always JM walker manages to keep the reader on the edge of their seats as they read as Jaron and Piper get to know each other and their family. The drama is thick in this book. We see the struggle both Jaron and Piper face from his incarceration. From her trauma of what happened. From being alone in pregnancy. From the dark that was jail. This book is a 'Deeper than Love' kind of book. It is a book that shows how much two people are willing to go for the love they have for each other and what  they are willing to sacrifice for the one's they love, even if it means losing themselves in the process. Jaron and Piper have loved one another since they were teenagers and have faced so many obstacles to get to the point they are at, and there are still so many roadblocks in their way for them to find their HEA, but in order to get there they must stick together. This book was a rollercoaster of emotions read and I could not put it down. JM has delivered once again and has made Jaron and Piper my favorite Second Generation couple!!

I love both these two incredible characters.
Piper my girl is amazing!

Caring, possessive and protective to his being for his woman, Piper.
Their journey to their well deserved happiness is hard fought and heartbreaking.

Piper picks up Jaron when he is released from prison. They both have so much to work through to find their true love. Jaron has to come to grips with all the horrible things he endured in prison. Life on the outside is different than he expected. Piper has done the pregnancy without Jaron as well as the first 10 months of raising the baby. She also has not really dealt with the trauma of her near rape. Jaron and Piper declare their love for each other but need to get through all the hurt and adjustment. This was a great read. Enjoy this installment featuring Jaron and Piper.

These books are too damn emotional.
They get you going -then BOOM they take you down a few pegs.
But you end up loving it.
I was so glad to finally get Piper and Jaron's story. But it wasn't as good as the rest. A lot of their issues were because they refused to talk and voice them. by the end, they still hadn't really opened up.

I am curious though about what happened when those men rescued them - who were they? I have a feeling its guys from another series maybe?
I also want to know why Rowan said that they seemed spooked and then left them there like that. All that happened was so weird and even though they moved on I feel like there was so much left unanswered

So where to begin.
I definitely had high expectations for this read like I always do with this Author. And like always, she delivered.
This one was emotional and intense THEN comes the adrenaline rush and a whole other set of emotions. And then our HEA.
Jaron and Piper are determined, loving, and sexy AF together! And, man, I would love to have Jaron's ability to heal to have that passion right after major surgery!
It would also almost be worth a peek into the far future to see Brynlee take Daddy for a wild ride! She so owns him!

Major book hangover!!! I’ve waited anxiously for what seems like ever for Jaron and Piper and it did not disappoint. The author does what she does best and takes you on an emotional rollercoaster with what the infamous what the heck moments. This story wrecked me, but in the best way possible. Ripped me apart and I am still trying to process and heal. Hands down my favorite in this series and quite possibly my favorite that she has written. It has everything you could possibly want and her writing continues to evolve and get better and better. Add it and read it. It’s a must!!!

After Jaron been released he goes back to be woth the woman who has his heart Piper, but this have changed she's not alone anymore she has she has daughter, now they have the chance to be together they have to learn to grow as a family but life isn't all that easy. This book is your heart out and mends it all in one! Well written with an engaging story and character that have your heart racing and swooning!

Up to halfway this was a good book especially after all they had been through. After halfway was when the author came out to weave her evil magic and it became a GREAT book.
That'll teach me for forgetting what she's like and letting my guard down.
Can't say much more without giving anything away, but hold on as this rides about to get even more bumpy than it already was.
Can't wait for the next book in the series. Especially with the introduction to a few new faces and hints of other stories that have my curiosity piqued.

The teaser book of Piper and Jaron set the stage, this one brings the house down! Newly released from prison and about to meet his child for the first time, it's not going to be an easy ride. We get to see the struggles that the couple go through to get their happy ending. At times the story makes you smile, then cry and back to smiles again. Another great installment in the lives of The Next Generation - definitely recommend.

Jaron and Piper are definitely meant to be together no matter what fate throws their way. Fate has dealt them so many hardships to work through and overcome. Jaron and Pipers story has comes full circle and you won’t be disappointed! Hang on for the ride….

After US (Next Generation #6) has been highly anticipated since reading the novella Before Us which I absolutely loved. Jaron and Piper's love has truly been tested with time. This novel is written with the first half very emotional, intense, raw and intensifies the second half of the story which brings action to it. I love getting a glimpse of the other characters in this series. Absolutely loved the ending. Looking forward to reading more books in this series.

So much emotion in this story. Jaron and Piper work on having a good relationship from the beginning of the book. The say out loud to each other how hard it is and in general do a pretty good job of communicating what they can. She tells him how hard it was to be without him all that time. They have amazing a terrifying moments and do it together. They know they are not a sure thing, but try the best they can. Just a great story.
