I love learning more about Ben and Katherine. They are the cutest couple. I am so proud of Katherine for trying to get away from Tim. I wish she didn't have to. Tim is scum. I can tell that Ben and Katherine love each other but they are refusing to admit it to each other even themselves.

This is the second book in the You and Me Trilogy. Wow, this series just gets better and Katherine and Ben will continue to pull at your heart. Lots of drama with her ex, Tim and how he abuses her and Ben comes to her rescue. Beware of triggers re spousal abuse. A wonderful story that tears at your emotions and just gets more intense. Ben is definitely the hero in this book. I read an arc copy and voluntarily chose to review.

Kathrine has been on the run from her husband Tim and this time he has met his match. She has decided with the help of others, especially Ben, that she is going to divorce Tim, something she was scared to do before, basically because of the fight she knew she would have to go through with him being a great lawyer and willing to do anything to keep her in line on down to beating her and not caring how she looks after he has taken his rage out on her. This book is good and it is sad. It has all the rage and angst and drama that a woman goes through trying to get out of an abusive relationship. I liked that Lexy did not sugar coat it and just show the man coming to the rescue and protecting. We see Kathrine as the strong woman who lost all her self esteem through years of an abusive controlling husband both physically, emotionally and psychologically. The so called great defense lawyer who was nothing more than a small man, in my opinion, who had to pick on someone he knew could not fight him back. Most men are naturally stronger than women but some women have been able to learn how to fight back. She had gone to the gym to learn self defense but nothing would be able to help her with Tim because he was like a football player and just because he was a lawyer did not make him all that smart. I guess I digress. I am getting ready for the final book in this trilogy. We have Tim still lurking in the shadows. He definitely knows where she is, she should have known that. He is letting her let her guard down, so he thinks. She has started divorce proceedings while he is in San Francisco trying to force her back, boy won't he be surprised. I can't wait to see how this going to play out. This has definitely been a good read. I have not been an abusive marriage but I can see that it could get to there if you are not strong enough and you let a man assert power over you, in some instances they say it has gone the other way. Read this book and see will you do like I did and buy all three books so that you binge on this trilogy.

Trigger Warning: domestic violence, physical abuse, abusive relationship

Ben is understandably disappointed at the beginning of this book. Thankfully, Katherine and him are both adults that are able to quickly communicate and clear up their misunderstandings. Ben is a decent human being who is nothing but willing to help Katherine. We got to see a bit more of Rachel and Will in this second book and Ben has hit the jackpot with his friends. It's not really surprising considering what a kind-hearted person he is. We do get a lot of happy moments among the bad in this book which helps to keep it very balanced. It helps to show that despite so many dark things going on pertaining to Katherine, she can still laugh and have a good time. It really emphasizes the idea that life goes on despite the baggage she carries with her. The pacing of this book continues to be excellent. Again, the main romantic relationship is given time to develop and both parties show an excellent ability to communicate with each other. I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of their relationship develops.

Despite being such hot trash, Tim is an intelligent piece of work. He has the typical characteristics of an abuser whilst not feeling like a caricature. He is someone with a lot of deep-set insecurities sitting behind a narcissistic ego and a large wallet. Thankfully, this book leaves us with hope that Katherine has found the courage and resources to fight back this time. Here is to cheering on anyone like her who has had the valor to stand up to their abuser. Can’t wait until the next installment.

I received this book via a promo code and this is my voluntary review.

If you haven't read book one: Just Me (you&me bad boy romance) it's best to turn around and follow that one first as this picks up where a cliff hanger finished off.

Katherine's newly rebuilt life is about to come crashing down around her when Tim, the abusive estranged husband she's been fleeing across the country to escape finally catches up to her during a date with an uninformed Ben at his best friends charity auction. Unsure how to react, Kathy leaves the party with Tim to avoid getting the adorable Ben involved in her problems, poised to run... she can't make herself turn her back on the connection she shares with the sexy CEO and turns up on his doorstep, bruised and beaten after an angry Tim takes out his drunken fury on his wayward wife. Finally telling him everything, Ben accepts her resolve to stay and fight for what they have and for a while it seems to have worked, Katherine evades her violent Ex but she knows it's far from over, he would never let her go. Proving that she's been right to run all along, he finds the bakery where she works with Thalia, leading to an arrest and this story ends on a cliffhanger (yet again). Tim may be out of the picture but as she files for divorce, someone may just have thrown kerosene over hellfire for the fury she knows her defiance will bring.

Touch Me by Lexy Timms is a romantic suspense that I listened to on audio narrated by Amber Bray and Tyler Darby.

I will advise that the book does contain domestic violence. However, Lexy does not go into too much detail. You get enough information to know the struggles that Katherine has been facing.

This is the second book of Lexy’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I had to listen to this audiobook in one sitting! I just had to know what was going to happen next with Katherine and Ben. The book does end on a cliffhanger but that wasn’t a surprise since it’s the second book in the Bad Boy Romance Trilogy. I can’t wait for the third book Kiss Me to be released on audio.

Amber and Tyler did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like Bully Romances, Romantic Suspense, or Contemporary Romance.

Touch Me #2
After the embarrassing moment at a very public event, Katherine does what she does best, she runs. A knock on the door changes everything in Ben and Katherine's life together. They start to rewrite her perception of love. With a new life and new friends, Katherine feels like she has something to fight for now. But....we all know self doubt is a silent monster that doesn't back down. Ben is still patient through it all, showing her that it's ok to let people inside the walls that she's built for self protection. When her past and her future collide in a coffee house will someone get burned?
The sex scenes are all about quality, not quantity. Ben is someone to sit up and beg and even throw on a costume for (see what I did there?)
You guessed it....another cliffhanger but again, you won't even mind.......
I highly recommend this series!

Exciting, but confused!!

These first two books have been exciting and suspenseful, and you can't help but fall in love with Ben! A great view on abuse victims and how legal systems aren't always able to get victims justice. Bothersome to me is how Katherine was described as beaten, bruised, split lipped and eye swelling shut when showed up at Ben's house after her husband first found her, but the next day she went to work, and only the bruise on her arm was described being seen, and she casually says it was from the gym!?!? Split lips and swollen eyes don't heal over night! What the heck?

there's a reason the first book was free. It sucks you in so you'll purchase the second book. There is a lot of filler content and conversations that aren't needed. Three books could have easily been one stand alone book. Whomever does the editing and proof reading is missing a lot of simple corrections. How does someone get beat up one day and goes to work the next with only some arm bruises when earlier there is discussion of a busted lip and bruised face. Then the discussion on a bruised face occurs again. This is the second book by this author with similar issues. I gave her a second chance, I think she's off my list to read.

Getting hotter

Katherine has become too comfortable in her new life away from her abusive husband and that’s always when he chooses to strike. Ben and Katherine have gotten closer in their relationship and Ben can almost sense when he needs to be near her to protect her. He was right on time at the coffee shop the day Tim showed up to take her away. A fight occurred and Ben landed in jail and Katherine lost her job.
Once again Katherine is choosing to go on with her life in San Francisco but just like before, Tim isn’t far away.

Snake in the grass

I didn't think this story would get much better after book 1, but this book had all the emotions you could think of. I was cheering for Ben when he beat the hell out of Tim! Tim is the lowest form of human that there is. He deserved everything Ben did to him. And yeah for Katherine for standing up to Tim and finally taking legal action! Book 3 here I come!

This is the second book in the You & Me Trilogy. The story continues where the first book left off. Katherine and Ben's story is suspenseful, filled with intrigue, and twists and turns. The story ends with a cliffhanger, and I can't wait to listen to the next and last book in this amazing and captivating trilogy, Kiss Me. Amber Bray and Tyler Darby did a wonderful job with the narration. I love their voices together. I HIGHLY recommend this Series.

✨ Touch Me
This contemporary romance centers on a passionate, slow-burn connection that’s full of emotional depth. Spice level is 🌶️🌶️🌶️ (medium-high), with intimate, steamy moments balanced by heartfelt emotion. The tone is romantic, emotional, and engaging, blending tension with vulnerability as the characters navigate love and personal growth. The ending is happy and satisfying, giving readers a fulfilling conclusion to the story.

So in this one, Katherine takes more of her life and freedom back from her abusive husband. She's also learning that she doesn't have to go through this alone. Ben is still the best guy in the world. It's not often a book makes my heart race, but this one had it going waiting to see what happened. I can't wait for the next one!

Lexy Has Put A Huge Book In My Mouth

Without any embarrassment and with my paycheck dwindling down, I am purchasing book three today! All women need to know the signs of abuse, and take t the abuser into the criminal justice system. Any employer who acts in support of abused women need to be applauded!

Slowly Katherine is taking more of her life back. She is finally feeling like she has a place to call her own. A place where she belongs. I love Ben, he is truly an amazing guy. This book is making me feel all the feels. I can not wait to read the next book!

It’s like reading three novellas, two with cliff hangers...

The interesting story is there but it feels like a first draft. Not enough detail or enough dialog. The supporting characters are still flat.

This is horribly written

The Inconsistencies in the story are too much. I really wanted to know where the heroine ends up but I don't think I can stomach another one of these books.

Wow Lexy certainly knows how to write a fantastic captivating book. This book captures the fear and emotion felt when in a domestic violence environment. With emotions high this book will have you hooked from the very beginning. A fantastic performance from Amber and Tyler.

Many typos, once or twice the story didn’t follow itself correctly from the previous chapter and characteristics changed of lead characters. But - I still was hooked on the storyline and read it in a day

Really enjoying how Ben and Katherine's relationship is building. The altercation with her ex was vivid, only hope next time they meet Ben is the victor. Look forward to reading the conclusion!
