With a man like Akeem the only thing you need is a fat butt, a nice smile and a little bit of hustle and finesse. Akeem’s a snake in sheep’s cloth. He’s been having a few secret affairs. This one affair in particular it hits close to home. In the midst of witnessing the love of her life’s secret affair. Tieranee’s at the right place at the wrong time. Akeem’s deceitful ways finally caught up with him. He took something from some very dangerous people. They seek revenge on the pair and want what’s rightfully theirs back. The only thing is Tieranee wasn’t a part of the scheme, but she gets caught up in the crossfire.

Yessss I loved this story. Joog wasn’t playing no games. Ty and Freeway wasn’t either. Akeem and Kimmy were horrible and got what they deserved.
Joog sisters were funny and Grandma was for no games either. Good Job Nikki!!!

Wow Nikki you did an awesome job this book had me all in from beginning to end. I'm glad Keem and Kimmy was handle in the beginning they didn't deserve to have any energy wasted on them. Tieranee worked my nerves something serious but she was a strong, independent woman trying to get it on her own. Joog was truly bae he saw something in Tieranee that he wanted and he wasn't letting her go that was his soulmate. I loved Nidda and Nedra they really was true friends. Ty and Freeway had Joog back no matter what and they really loved his sisters. I would have love to read about the girls having their babies. Let's not forget about Grandma Rose she was the truth loved her. Awesome job Nikki keep up the great work. I'm already looking forward to your next book.☺💖

Omg this standalone is lit. I’m glad me Peoples got their shit together. Keem was a straight pussy for what he tried to do by getting my girl killed but I’m glad him and kimmy got their karma. Now his boys I imagined it the whole way how they went out they knew not to touch my girl but hey they didn’t want they life. I’m glad the sisters are good with their men. They grandma had me laughing my ass off with her mouth. That girl keera I wanted to reach through the phone and slap her. U did good on yet another book and I’m looking forward to reading more of ur books. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read

Imperfect Love....I loved it!

I loved this. I can say I loved all the characters even the Keera she represented a served a purpose in this standalone. This book touches on what women face everyday. I could relate to Tieranee because I've felt that pain of betrayal and not trusting to love after that. I love me some Joog he's not perfect but I love that he didn't give up. Grandma Rose is the truth I love her and Nidda and Nedra were what Terry needed. Loyalty from women which is far few a between these days because people don't have loyalty these days. I know this is standalone but I hope to get a standalone on Hood he wants us to read his story too🤣🤣🤣🤣

Wow!!! Ok the way Kimmy and Akeem ass did Tieranne was so messed up and their karma was lovely!!! Tieranne didn’t take no shit from anyone and knew her damn worth. Jog was not ready for her stubborn ass lol she gave him a run and had him in his feelings lol. Nidda and Nedra had me laughing when they pulled Tieranne in their shenanigans lol. Grandma Rose is the truth ok!! When she told Nidda and Tieranne they better beat those ho’s asses reminded me of my nana lol. Freeway and Ty are some crazy fools they gives no fucks and will kill for their women!! Great read!!!

Omg i love me some Joog.. i am glad him an Tierney got it right... i love how his sister's was some true friends an loyal just like Tierney. Im glad Joog killed Kimmy an Akeem they was foul an kimmy just nasty an delusional. Freeway an Ty was down an true friends to Joog an they wasnt jealous of each other they was the true definition of brothers. They gma was the truth too she was real. I think Joog should have took Kiera out but i see she wasnt a problem after he told her whatever.

Awesome

Great story, they both were stubborn when it came to expressing how they felt and what they wanted. Tyranny had her walls up because she was tired of giving her all only to get let down, and Joog just didn't want to open up and loose out, he felt a responsibility towards all he showed love to and Tyranny opened up pieces of his heart that he closed off after his mother's death. Happy they finally expressed what they were feeling because everyone around them seen it. Wish there was another book letting us know more about Hood and Terry as well as Joog siblings.

This book starts off on some ish. Its been a minute that I've read an urban book that has pulled me in from page ONE. And when I tell you the author doesn't let up until end. This was an entertaining book to read with great supporting characters. Tieranee goes through some turmoil throughout this book but she's not falling for anything just because they want her to. She makes her love interest earn her love. Joog knows he's that dude and everyone else too. He expected Tieranee to fall in line like the rest but he quickly learns she not like the rest. She's the only person that could get him to bend and change. Sweet Jesus that grandmother was a piece of work. Lol Nidda was the family snitch and Nedra was a mess that wasn't bothered by much. Both She was by far my favorite. Freeway and TY were really good men just not to be tested.What I loved most about this book was that the enemies didn't get far and it wasn't drawn out to the end. They got what they deserved in the beginning. And the others got theirs not far after they decided to make those stupid mistakes. Trust and loyalty are hard qualities to find in people but when you do, you hold on to them. This is definitely a book I would recommend for anyone to read.

This book was 🔥. I was glad Kimmy & Akeem got what they deserved early. Definitely happy Tieranee got exposed to some REAL people because she definitely dealt a lot. She had to get it out the mood on her own so definitely understandable why she was taking no bs from Joog. Joog bless his heart😂🥰 They were the PERFECT TWO, once they got it today. Grandma Rose was definitely a trip. I really didn’t want this to end. SERIES ME PLEASE ‼️

IT WAS OK FOR ME...

I liked the story, they all just worked my nerves. I understand everything Terranee went through. I’m just going to say she got on my nerves the most. Her and Joog needed to get it together. Honestly I didn’t have not one favorite character in this book. It feels like something was missing, I just don’t know what. This isn’t the first book I’ve read from this author, it was just my least favorite.

She's independent and knows how to get it! Niddia is a little messy something but she cool! As far Joog go he worked nerves but he was bae though!!! I wouldn't definitely recommend this book!! After u read this you need to read all her books!!!

The struggles they go through in relationships and how they put their foot down and demand respect. You also show that their are some stand up men in this world. I loved this book!

I can't believe this is the end! Please no! Tieranee was the perfect example of a strong black woman! She took no bull...well once she got away from Akeem. Grandma Rose and her wenches and hoes!!! That lady was life!! The story was a bit choppy and repetitive at times but the storyline was amazing. I think there's a few more stories left to be told! Please consider telling them!

Chileeeeeee they worked my nerves with their bipolar selves! But I love how they love each other in a weird way!! Kimmy & Keeria is the prime reason why ion trust females and their shenanigans!! Nidda & Nedra are friend goals!!! I’m glad they dogged walked them chics cause they need it. I be glad when females learn to take up their issues with the dude and not the woman. If Stand your ground and know your worth, Tieranay would be the poster child!!

A MUST READ STANDALONE 🔥🔥

I loved this book from beginning to end. It was nice to see the main female character in the book boss up. Tieranee went through a few terrible situations that made her realize that she wasn’t going settle when it came to her new relationship. I loved how Nidda, Nedra & Grandma Rose treated Tiera like she was family. I was sooooooo 👏🏾 when Kimmy and Akeem got what was coming for them. I am sad it’s over. Hopefully a future spin-off with the couples.

Great Read

I have become a big fan of Author Nikki Nicole books. She knows how to make her reader connect emotionally to her characters. I know this is a standalone but I hope that Author Nikki Nicole will update her readers on her characters Joog, Tieranee, Niddia, Freeway, Nedra and Ty. I also would like to know what Hood's story is about. I would definitely recommend this book.

How do you classify a book as romance and the main characters don’t get together but once (sexually) in the entire book? Is this really how the hood does romance? I mean literally no dates, no conversations, no sweet nothings, no game just a single stick and move and then you claim love. I call BS. I didn’t like it and wouldn’t recommend it. Two stars because I finished it - it held my attention until the end but I’m disappointed.

Joog should of left Keera on the ground. Tieranee has been through a lot. If Funny how Kimmy had all that mouth but couldn’t make it to the end. Akeem was no good he should of left Tieranee alone. Loved it!!!

Yessssss Joog worried me because he didn't get it but he still pursued her, he still loved her!! I was so shocked at ehat happened at her moms house but she bossed up!!! This book was well put together, the time line flowed well, only minimal errors! I can't wait for the next book!!!

This is my first read by this author. It was a good standalone and I enjoyed it.Enjoyed the storyline and these characters and characters were well developed. Joog and Tierney was so freaking stubborn and then some. So glad they finally got it together. Akeem and Kimmy got exactly what they deserved. Good job Nikki Nicole.
