Big game guide Steve Isdahl shares his personal experiences with the Sasquatch beings he had encountered in the mountains of British Columbia. Since his coming forward publicly of his first hand knowledge of these beings, Steve offered up his voice to literally thousands of other first hand witness’s who have been belittled, ridiculed and shamed for sharing what has happened to them in their local woods. “Enough is enough, the proof is in, it’s time to quit hiding it” are the words spoken. In addition to Steve’s experience there are dozens of first hand encounters added into this book. Experience is knowledge. Each experienced shared is knowledge shared. Take from it what you will, this book is only the begining. Cover created by the talented Rob Dye
This book is a labor of love from the author who has a YouTube show about hunting techniques and Bigfoot encounters. He has given a voice to many who have been ridiculed or discouraged by friends or family and that is a shame. I'm glad that the author's videos have encouraged people to share their experiences. This book contains a great many of them with more to come since he has an overwhelming number to choose from. These accounts come from people who know the woods, forests, national parks and nature areas like the backs of their hands. Their encounters have spooked a great deal of people, many of which won't return to certain areas again. Some even stopped hunting, which is a shame since many loved the outdoors. This contains a large amount of encounter stories. They have been told in the witnesses own words. Please note that spelling and grammar have not been adjusted for several tales, leaving the natural voice of the witnesses. A few stories were covered twice. All were interesting and encompass many eras and many different locations. I'm glad these hunters, trappers, military and law enforcement personnel all came forward to share their stories. More books are planned in this series and I will definitely look forward to reading them. The author gives excellent common sense advice as well, trust your instincts, they can save your life. A must read for cryptid fans.
This is the book of a big game hunting guide in Western Canada. He is not hyper educated, but is a no nonsense, reasonable & hardworking man who truly believes that we deserve to know what he has seen & experienced.
He had been often asked about what types of strange experiences he has had while out in the wilderness alone & finally he opened up about some of them in a very matter-of-fact way that shocked his audience. Then, the letters began to pour in of others whose experiences were similar to his own, needing to tell their stories as a matter of catharsis. Thousands wrote in- from retired game wardens & government employees, to pilots, scientists, first responders, trappers, and families who had very unfortunate &unbelievable mishaps on camping trips which have subsequently caused massive ptsd for the whole family.
Its a good read. Mind the typos & roughness of it (including a small amount of ultraconservative political snark that probably comes with the territory...) because it's an honest look at something we don't really feel comfortable thinking about, let alone talking about. This man is a straight shooter, no doubt. No pun intended. It's worth your time to listen to what he has to say.

I think this is a huge topic that has been going on forever! People need to get to the bottom of the the fact that these beings are real! They are a part of this world! They need to be understood and protected. I would recommend this book to anyone who has thought about Bigfoot is a possibility. I even think that Mr. Isdahl 's channel needs to be listened to by everyone! We all need to question our leaders! .
Too many repeats! Disappointed because so many stories were repeated. Mr Isdahl needs a competent editor, would help much. I do appreciate the platform Steve operates on, though.
Thanks to Steve, light is finally going to shine on the darkness that has kept these "beings" out of the public eye and caused much ridicule to the UNLUCKY person that has had the misfortune of having an encounter with them.
The eyewitness accounts were fascinating. I'm glad these people had a place to share their experiences. The book needs a good proofreading. Some stories were told twice.
Some interesting and wide-ranging stories of sightings, if you can look past the PROFUSE spelling and punctuation errors on every page. 15-20 stories are also repeated throughout the course of the book for no apparent reason.
Good entertainng stories of Sasquatch. I gave this book 4 stars because of grammar and punctuation mistakes plus the Kindle version did not download correctly. Stories repeated as a result.
This was a interesting read for me because I have heard of Steve but never have watched any videos or listened to his podcasts although I will now. I am intrigued to know more of his experiences and knowledge. More than anything I think the readhascompelled me to want to know more about the author and his ideas about what this phenomenon truly is. I already have a theory but now I want his! I am looking forward to the other books that Steve promises are coming.
