Natasha Knight is the USA Today Bestselling author of Romantic Suspense and Dark Romance Novels. She has sold over a million books and is translated into six languages. She currently lives in The Netherlands with her husband and two daughters and when she’s not writing, she’s walking in the woods listening to a book, sitting in a corner reading or off exploring the world as often as she can get away.
What a hell of a start to what I'm sure will be a fabulous book duo! I am already hooked and can't wait to read more!! Great characters and a great layout of what's to come. Looks like we're in for one hell of a ride!💕💋💯
Natasha Knight has a new duet coming,a duet that sounds delicious, and i can’t wait! Because the Beginning gave me a perfect view into what’s to come..... Dark and delicious this is the story of Cristina, who meets her first monster at the tender age of 10.
Already afraid of the dark, she goes in search of her nanny to find comfort when the power goes out during a storm. Instead, she hears men’s voices in her father’s study. When she’s discovered,a frightening man takes her back to her room. And at her question,he tells her monsters don’t hide in the dark.....
Living with her uncle and his family after her father, she receives an anonymous “present” every year for her birthday. Until her 18th.... When everything becomes all too clear.
The stage is set, everything is ready, all that we need is The Unholy Union. AND I CAN’T WAIT!
This was a short quick prequel to an upcoming mafia read that I am very interested in reading. This book introduces is to Damian Di Santo and Cristina Valentina who was promised to him. I am looking forward to reading this duet. This story was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.
Short epilogue for series. Basically she meets a man when she's ten, the night her Father allegedly commits 'suicide' and he comes to get her on the night of her 18th birthday as his captive bride. Very strange but intriguing.
Picked it up as a freebie on kindle! I usually don’t read 0.5 of a series coz most of the time they are repeated as it is in the beginning of the first book. I hate that! But I picked this one up to check if I’ll be interested in reading the duet. I am not. Maybe that will change in the immediate or faraway future if my mood swings.
Why, though? Well, the pacing and writing were good. The main characters were introduced and the motive was revealed for the claiming business (as it is said in the synopsis). The main downer came in the form of the plot itself. It seemed same old and nothing fresh or new. I am currently not in the market for that.
crossing my fingers that this free prequel isn’t just the first few chapters of the actual book. i’m really intrigued about the duet though so I can’t wait to read it!
Unholy is the start of Cristina and Damian’s story. It’s short and sweet, but leaves me with many questions - I can’t wait to read more😱 I’m currently reading an advanced copy of Unholy Union which also includes this prequel which I voluntarily leave my honest review for❣️
I don't know what to think yet except that cant wait to read the next book. And yes I will say Damian seems extremely twisted but also interesting. Obviously there is a lot more to this story tht I need answers too.
This is worth reading, especially if your waiting for the release of her upcoming Duet. Weve been teased with just a handful of chapters. Cant wait to read the whole thing! Damian is a mystery I want to know more about.
Unholy is the prologue to Natasha Knights Unholy Union duet, consisting of 6 chapters. It is currently available for FREE.
“You don’t need to be afraid of the dark. Monsters don’t lurk there. They don’t hide under beds or inside closets. They’re right out in the open where you can see them as clear as day. Where you can look into their eyes and see their evil. Don’t you know that?”
“Are you a monster?”
By now, I would read anything and everything that comes out of this author's fingers. She clicks all the buttons I need and delivers with a ferocity that brings shivers of my core.
“I savor the taste and texture of the rich chocolate as I take in Cristina Valentina.”
UNHOLY UNION is the FREE (at authors request, wait until AmazonUK has made this FREE before purchasing) prologue Novella preceding UNHOLY UNION.
POV:Dual
We're introduced to Damian & Cristina when Cristina is 10yrs old, when she wakes during a storm, in search of her nanny, she hears voices coming from her father's office, knowing that she shouldn't enter, she does, unknowingly she's met a real monster. 8yrs later, just before her 18th birthday, she's dreading the box of dead roses, she's been receiving since that night, with a count down. When she gets home not only is there a familiar box, but also a face she remembers from that night.
“Monsters don’t hide in the dark” as this prequel is an excellent introduction for what is guaranteed to be an enthralling story! The author introduces the reader to Cristina and Damian where the young girl’s spirited nature already shines through while Damian seems cold and perhaps a bit sinister. This novella provides an intriguing prelude for a union that ties together the characters in unfathomable ways.
Cristina Valentina’s life will for ever change in her 18th Birthday. This is just a small taste of what’s to come. I’m already invested and cannot wait for Unholy Union! The perfect dark prologue!
“Enjoy your last few hours of freedom, Cristina, because come midnight, you belong to me.”
What an interesting prequel, and I cannot wait the first book in the unholy duet. Natasha Knight is one of my favourite mafia author ever since. She has this way of writing anti-hero that you gonna hate from the start but can't help to love in latter, ya sure they're anti-hero still the character/s are redeemable tho and strong headed heroine(that isn't annoying) that a real match with the the hero.
And for that being said I'm excited how Damian and Cristina story will progresses.
“She’d asked me if I was a monster. She’ll soon learn I’m more than that. I’m her worst nightmare about to come true.”
I read this and immediately searched this author out and filled out a form for an ARC for this book.
This quick intro to the storm had my heart racing and completely indulged in seconds. I’ve been in a book slump all month and the short prologue got me out of my funk QUICK! Yea ok. I think this book might be my top book of August 2020. I’m about to dive into the ARC now!
This prequel is free as part of the first book of the duet. It sets the scene for the arrangement between this pair though to be honest it just raises questions about events that led to a night when she was promised to him. No intimate scenes. Prequel set.
This is a novella and the prologue to the upcoming Unholy Union Duet.
In Unholy: The Beginning, we are introduced to the main characters Damian and Cristina and given a little bit of the background as to when they met and why they are brought together.
I'm excited about this new duet and can't wait to see what happens.
If this is a precursor to what the rest of the book/duet is going to be like then sign me up. It was filled with tension, suspense, and mystery with dark undertones. I cannot wait to see where this story goes.
I love this story and I want more , this was not enough I really need the rest of the story. I need to know what happens to them.I can't wait for the next book. Great job with the beginning. 📚💜
