The mediums of Beach Drive don't take rumors of a witches' coven seriously-not until it threatens one of their own. Meanwhile, Officer Brian Henderson can no longer ignore the secrets of Marlow House. Can he handle the truth?
I really enjoyed the way Officer Brian Henderson comes to terms with Walt and his "abilities" and how well he took it. Probably made him not feel so crazy around Marlow House now. Can not wait to read number 27! Keep 'em coming because I am hooked on this book 📖 series
Two witches' covens in Frederickport are two covens too many! But are any of them really witches? Or has their history been handed down by time and skewered along the way! Walt, Brian and Heather find themselves in a real predicament, and at some point, Brian will need to be told the truth - about it all! Can he handle the truth?
The Ghost and the Witches' Coven ( Haunting Danielle book 26)
I was so excited about reading book 26, I ended up staying up reading the whole thing in one night. lol I could not put it down. If course I was happy about the ending only to find out I can continue reading where I left off when book 27 comes out. So happy for Brain, hope to read lots more about him in your next book. But looks like the excitement is about to continue, wooo, can't wait to read what happens next. Love reading ALL the Haunting Danielle series. Thank you Bobbi Holmes and Anna J Mclntyre. Cindy Riley
What made this one so enjoyable is how Brian found out the complete story behind Marlow house. He learned in pieces about Walt's abilities, his past and the Mediums. I am glad Brian and Heather found each other. They are polar opposite but somehow fit. I do hope that the series ends soon. But not until Danielle has a baby; Chris finds someone; Adam finds out his grandmother is watching over him; and Joe, Kelly and Adam learn the secret of Marlow House.

Heather Donovan is the target in this latest book in the Haunting Danielle series. Two sets of three sisters who are witches are now in Frederickport. The red-haired Parker sisters have been stalking the dark-haired Blair sisters in order to get their hands on an ancestor's book. The Parker sisters believe they can cast spells and steal the powers of another witch. Unfortunately they believe that Heather is a witch and a stolen ruby ring will house her powers after they make her disappear. Walt and Brian unknowingly walk into the drugging of Heather and become victims along with her. Fortunately none of them are really harmed, but Brian learns more than he'd ever thought possible. This book, like most of the preceding ones is a comedy of errors and misunderstandings with a paranormal twist and occasional deadly intent. Fast reading and entertaining, this book includes familiar characters and introduces a new set of circumstances.

I repeat: I love this series. My favorite series. This book started out a little slow for me and I was a bit bored with all the talk of witch's covens. I should have had more faith because after all, this is a Haunting Danielle book. When it ramped up, it ramped up! So I gave it 5 stars because it deserves it.
Two covens of witches have set up shop, so to speak, in town and the mediums of Beach Drive become involved when Heather is the target of one coven, who wants her to complete a spell. But kidnapping her backfires when they also have to kidnap two others, including policeman Brian Henderson. Brian has been suspicious of the strange happenings at Marlow House for a long time and now he has to learn the truth. How many ordinary guys talk to animals? I can't wait to read the next book to see what Brian does with this secret information.
Loved loved LOOOOOOOOVED this one! Such a good one! I can't remember my last favorite of these books but this one is my new favorite for sure. Not that they're better than the last since they're a literal ongoing story since book 1, I've been enjoying each one all the more to see what the mediums and Beach Drive gang will encounter next in their adventures 😃😁
One last note: WHAT THE HECK!!!??? THOSE TWO? KISSING? There's definitely a surprise and perhaps future secret couple that might happen which I'm dying on the inside since they're the LAST ONES I pegged that would kiss *laughing* Now I'm eager to see where this is going and actually kinda hoping they become a thing which will be epic!
The good: I like the characters and it’s a cute, fun series. It’s great to read in between heavier novels
The bad: the ending was rushed. Someone needs to teach this author about transitions. Reading becomes awkward at times.
The ugly: admittedly, I thought this would be my last book but I was pleasantly surprised that I liked this better than the previous book. I think the series should have ended by now though. I’ll probably read the next one because it ties into this one, but I’m not sure I’ll continue.
Lost a lot of sleep with this Danielle mystery! It was absolutely fantastic! I totally enjoyed this story line and the twists and turns throughout the story. I'm so happy to see Heather and Brian together and that now Brian is in the know about all the goings on. This is a phenomenal series! I love all the ghostly goings on and definitely love all the characters. Especially Eva and Marie. Walt's the best character, though! Wish I had a husband like him! Can't wait for the next book!!!
The witches are coming. The witches are coming. Supposedly there are witches descending upon our friends and then Walt Brian and heather mysteriously disappear without a trace. Brian growing more and more suspicious of the things heather and Walt are up to is finally brought into their inner circle. Him and heather get closer and closer and omg they kiss what?! I didn’t see that coming lol. I don’t know how to feel about it. I was hoping her and Chris would eventually make it work. I need my boo to find love. Ahhhh so much happened.

I am so thrilled Bobbi Holmes has been writing so many “post bed and breakfast” adventures for the Beach Drive residents. I loved the series before but now the set up for the mystery is so much more interesting! We used to ‘know’ that one of the guests would be murdered or would be a murderer as soon as they were introduced and that the story would be contained to their short visit at Marlow House. Now the mysteries are infiltrating and lasting.
The children of the last villain want to get rid of Heather thinking she cursed their father, so who do they seek out? The local witches of course! Kathy gives them some jewellery thinking it will help. Whathappenswhen Walt and Brian are thrown into the mix? How will Heather and Walt manage this one? An excellent book for all lovers of the supernatural.
For once there were no bodies. Witch's spells that don't work meant to make a blood witch disappear don't count. Can't wait to see what happens with Brian & Heather. Wondered if the ghost they saw after escaping from where the Parkers left them would turn up again. From the title of the next book it looks like we'll get those answers.
This was an excellent story!!!! I love how she gives you a little snip for the next book. I can’t review this without giving some stuff away....so it’ll be short but sweet. Wow!!! Lots revealed and kept me guessing why the whole time. I love how there’s a new couple in town too. These books just keep getting better and better. Happy Reading :)
This book certainly kept my attention. A trio of crazy witchy sisters. And a cast of other characters that that make me think of Abbott and Costello's who's on first skit. Really, who is after whom? Who is running from whom. Who got caught by who. Seriously, crazy, fun book. Loved it.
There are new people and businesses in Fredricksport. This time there is trouble for one of the citizens. Someone or something wants to get rid of them. Who it is and why they are a target will keep you on the edge of your seat. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
I have mixed feeling about this one. On the one hand, the story that was told was interesting and there were definitely some new storylines started that I'm excited to see develop. On the other hand, I was really wanting a bigger focus on the witches, especially flashbacks to the characters introduced in the first chapter. All in all, though, it was a good installment.
The Ghost and the Witches Coven (Haunting Danielle book 26
This was another winner. I highly recommend all of Bobbie's books and Anna's books and different series. They write wonderful characters and great storylines in every book. Danielle's books have a set off characters I love and want to keep reading about them. Diana Romano
This is so funny...at this point me and Heather in the book are the same person. My fiance is Brian and he's older than me by a few years. He's not a cop or someone with short hair. He's more like a hippie style while my work bestie Chris is an ex emt and likes his hair short. Hmm. I liked this one but the feuding cousin witches I found to be outright dramatic.

There were quite a few new characters to keep track of, and frankly I wouldn’t be able to recall all the names of the different witchy sisters if asked in a couple days.. I’m just relieved Officer Brian Henderson is finally part of the “cool kids” club and understands most of what’s happened over the last few years!

This one was a hard one to follow. Since I'm listening to the audiobook, I had a hard time keeping track of who was in which Coven.
I know from other series that I follow (Alex Cross & Stephanie Plumb), when you get to #26 and later in the series - the author has to really reach for a fresh plot line. This book could have easily been left out of the series.
These books never fail to grab my attention. I love the characters, it is like visiting old friends when I start a book from this series. Can't wait for the next one which I already pre-ordered.
I enjoy these stories. Full of mystery, magic and mayhem. What if ghosts exist? I imagine that ability would add so many questions to life. Highly recommend this mystery series. They have entertained me throughout the pandemic of 2020.
When Brian Henderson is learning more about the Beach drive mediums during his kidnapping ordeal, I find it more and more fun to read this series. I'm so excited to read what the next book brings. Someone really needs to make this a tv series.
Do witches exist? Witches aren't taken seriously until a coven of blood witches threaten someone from the scooby gang on beach drive. Will Dani & Walt have success in starting a family? How will Brian deal with continuing strange occurances at Marlow house?
Interesting with two groups professing to be witches. Then add in a kidnapping and things got goofy. Poor Brian had alot to deal with. But ultimately he took it fairly well.
One of the better outings, as far as story line. The one thing that bugged me was keeping track of who was who, in the two families. Liked that Brian now 'knows' and it will be fun to see where he and Heather go... (we know where the ended up!).
Actually better but took 3 months to finish as I was listening and kept forgetting about it. Two groups of 3 witch sisters got confusing. Loved the romance development and one character's becoming in the know.
