Kye has convinced himself that he has it all… or, at least all he wants. He has a loving family and owns a business that he created himself. If he is troubled by his lack of a social life, all he must do look at the gay dating scene in his small town to remember why. He wants a partner, not a hookup. Wealthy, handsome businessman Seth has managed to carve out two different lives for himself. As the heir to his daddy’s fortune, he works in his dad’s business directing the company’s philanthropy department while dating beautiful women. As a gay man, he quietly satisfies his longing for men through a string of one-night stand hookups far away from prying eyes. When these two meet, both men must decide whether their very different outlooks on life leave any room for love to shine through.

Chris Breaux's Finding Me is a riveting read.

It all starts with a bang, as Kye is a man with nightmares. Both he and Seth have upsetting backgrounds. They are opposites, with their rich versus poor statuses showing, and being an obstacle between them. There's an instant attraction between the two but they don't have an easy ride ahead of them.

Kye grew up in foster care, spent most of his life with no family, until finally finding one with some supportive brothers, who add a lot to the story. His experiences include being attacked and abused as a homeless street kid. He's a survivor who I can't help but to admire for his strength.

And then there's Seth who never had a choice in life. His father rules his every decision, controlling him with his homophobic views. One wants to pull Seth from his life, but he already has major abandonment issues and just can't risk losing his father.

This is a tale with self worth issues, as the two men help one another to find a purpose in life. It's a fast read with easy to love characters. The author includes hate crimes, abuse, and attacks to up the angst. In addition, there's a stalker who adds some danger and suspense.

Finding Me is a sweet mystery/romance as Kye and Seth both want one another, yet have a long journey to feel worthy of that kind of love. Chris Breaux guides these men to find a true sense of family, and it's a decent read by this debut author.

Men behaving naughtily and a mystery too (Covers not bad either ;-)
I hope this is a series because I still want to know about the first attack and that’s all I’m going to say about that except who wants to hurt Kye? This story jumped right into the meat of the plot. I was captivated from chapter one onward and blown away by the steam. Oh. My. Word…chapters 9 and 10!
Kye Buckland continues to have this same scary dream which we learn more about later. He grew up in foster care and had a very rough time of it because of his sexuality. Since he has made it by working very hard and studying, he tries to help others. His dream has cropped up because of a presentation he needs to make where he meets a very handsome but rich man, Seth Walden. Seth is a closet gay man whose father will not accept even hearing the truth. The sad thing about Kye and Seth is that they both think they do not deserve the other. Ahhh…and the mystery. I’ll leave that for you to find out.
This was a fast-paced steamy M/M romance (lots of steamy explicit scenes) with a mystery included. Starting with chapter 45 there was a great ending to the book. Just a note: Eli’s story was heartbreaking and I hope we get a book about him, as well as Micah and Wade, Kye’s brothers in spirit. I was offered an ARC of this book through Gay Romance Reviews and I give this 4.5 super steamy stars!

3.5 stars. Mixed thoughts when i was reading this one and had no idea how to rate this.
A different kinda start to the book and scary too.
Rye had a tormented childhood with his foster family. A hot and aquid first meeting between Rye and Seth but they didnt know theyd meet again so soon.
Rye wanted someone to love and a relationship with children but he knew Seth was out of his league being from wealthy money.
Hmm not really sure you can limp with a hard on was in a scened. In the love scenes Seth seemed to want to keep checking Rye "onboard" which took away the fuzzy feeling i had for the charactor in this book. Rye's band of foster brother's have all done well with their chosen career jobs. Seth tries to get approval to be friends with them all although the brothers doesnt make it easy for Seth.
• Fast attraction
• volient attack and little white lies
• both MCs with younger days baggage.
Rye had a bad night with a nighmare before an important meeting the next morning. An important met for his landscaping bussines as well as a personal one for Rye.
Seth worked at his fathers finance firm and partially closeted.
*I received an GRR advanced readers copy and this is my honest review.

Finding Me is a romantic mystery which isn't quite an opposites attract story, but the main characters do come from very different backgrounds. Seth, who had a very privileged and  solitary upbringing, is on the board of his father's company and Kye pitches to them for a landscaping contract. Kyle's childhood was extremely difficult, but he has made something of his life (running his own business) with the support of his three brothers.

There's immediate chemistry when Kye and Seth meet, but there's also something more sinister in store for them. Somebody is not happy that the two men have got together and a series of incidents ensues. Kye and Seth have to deal with an investigation and some seriously protective brothers whilst navigating the early stages of a new relationship. Add unreasonable pressure from Seth's father to the mix and it is not plain sailing for the MCs.

Finding Me is a relatively quick, easy read with a decent storyline and characters that draw on your sympathy. I wonder if there will be books for Kyle's brothers in the future... 3.5*

An ARC was provided by GRR in exchange for an honest review.

We first meet Kye in the middle of a nightmare/flashback to a very traumatic time. This opening chapter is just a quick introduction into Kye and his roommate, Micah. Next, we get a glimpse and a back story into who Seth is. Short and sweet, the same as Kye.

Now with that set aside, we can meet the boys together!

Some people like the slow burn, some people like the instant burn. Me, I like a little bit of both, but Kye and Seth are instant and hot. So hot Seth does a little bit of running then running away. Lol

I enjoy the heartfelt moments of Seth taking care of Kye. They are beautiful and so thrilling to read. Yes, they had their moment of conflict but what good story doesn’t. It was worth it in the end.

In my opinion, you could tell that Cris Breaux is a new writer. He’s good, but there’s something in his writing that screams new and could use some work. Not bad at all, I thoroughly enjoyed this read of Seth and Kye’s story.

Ps. I do want more.

Kye was kicked out of home at 15 for being gay, lived on the streets until he moved into the Shelter, had 3 best awesome friends he calls brothers, I hope they get their stories. Seth had his own problems growing up, a father who refused to allow his son to be gay. He holds the purse strings so Seth behaves. So many trials and tribulations between Kye and Seth, a violent stalker added. Seth took me a little longer to warm to but did eventually. Kye a hit from the start.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book for my honest opinions of which I’m under no obligation to do so. I definitely recommend this book.

Chris Breaux is a new to me author. I like how the author gave us a back story on Kye and who he is right at the beginning. Kye was kicked out of his home at a young age for being gay, he ended up living on the streets. He has worked hard to get where he is at today. Seth grew up wealthy. He came out to his dad, but that did not go well. He pretends to date woman, but secretly men are his desires. The story was well written. I was pleasantly surprised how much Liked the story. It is a romantic mystery, with insta love. It was a short read for me. I am voluntarily leaving a review form an ARC that I received. My reviews are solely based on my thoughts and opinions

Great love story with a dash of mystery

Kye is constantly in the grips of a reoccurring nightmare.
Someone is after him.
He's had a horrible life and overcome numerous obstacles.
I love the found family he's made with his brother's and how protective of him they are.
Seth is fascinated by Kye but lives a life in fear.
He seems to live a charmed life but in reality he's been suffering because he's in the closet because his father will never accept him.
Sadly, neither one of these men believes they are worthy of the other's love.
I really enjoyed seeing their relationship develop.

I hope this is the first book in a series exploring the lives of the men who come from The Shelter and get their HEAs. This is your classic story of two gay men, one who is out and the other who due to family pressure is deep in the closet, who meet and have to decide if they can be together despite all the obstacles. The characters were well drawn and made you root for them immediately, the plot was well thought out and rolled smoothly along. A well satisfying read that I hope leads us to learn the stories of the other secondary characters.

Kye and Seth are explosive. From the very start these two are meant to be. I loved the way that the two connect and I love Kye's overprotective brothers. I love that they both have hearts of gold and have more in common than they originally thought. This is such a great love story. I really hope that Kye's brothers each get their own book because I love them all! The scenes in this book are really steamy. I hate that someone hurt Kye but at least it allowed them to spend some time together. I would recommend this book.

Kye and Seth, a very explosive chemistry with a bit of mystery added to the mix. Kye is a foster kid with a recurrent dream, which I found so scary and endeared me to the character. Seth is a spoiled kid with a big heart. Their relationship brings on an attack and that will make or break it. I enjoyed the secondary characters, brothers in the good and the bad times for Kye. I would like to know their stories.

New author read for me and i liked it,like it was okay but I didnt love it! It felt a bit clunky and almost mixed up. Seth and Kye, insta love, coming out with mystery included seemed hmm busy maybe is the word!

But id love to see more of the side characters and see if Seth and Kye grow on me with cameos in further books!

Seth is rich, in the closet because of his father, and he wants Kye. The key has had a hard life because of his past and he wants the landscaping job that Seth company has the bid to. Their instant attraction between these two the moment they meet. Their romance is mysterious, slow burn, very emotional with likable characters. Kye and Seth sexy times were extremely hot. I enjoyed this book,

For the most part I really enjoyed Finding Me. The chemistry between the main characters, Kye and Seth is off the charts, both characters have their own issues. This was a pretty quick and easy read however the writing was a bit off but I think this is a newer author but there is potential here!

I really loved Kye and Seth’s story. It was so sweet, with just enough angst mixed in, to make it very enjoyable to read. I like that both had their own past and issues to deal with and I liked how they came together. It was hot, sexy and romantic. I definitely recommend this book.

This was such a fantastic, grab-you-by-the-feels, amazing, tug-at-your-heartstrings, poignant, bittersweet, charming, engaging, emotionally charged, lovely, sexy, and totally awesome story. This is a new-to-me author, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Technically written okay but I just cannot with the Insta-lust, poor little rich boy scenario, sophomoric dialogue, some really stupid life, business and work depictions. I can’t go on with this, it’s driving me crazy and I can only see it getting worse.

This book is full of angst, intrigue, mystery, steam, love, hope, and forgiveness. Both Kye and Seth have known heartache and disappointments. Although their pasts are very different, both men are lacking something fundamentally important that they desperately hope for. These men are opposites in a lot of ways, but they are drawn together. With Kye’s past trauma, and Seth’s issues with his dad and being in the closet, it’s not easy being together, and it may not be as long of a relationship as they’d like. There is a lot going on in this book, and that being so, I’m so glad it wasn’t a slow burn. I’m not sure I could’ve handled that! This appears to be the authors first book, and it shows a lot of promise for what’s to come.
