Start of a thrilling adventure!
This story was filled with Mafia, unruly dangers, growing attraction and a Cliffy!

The prologues were great, giving insight into Mysuki and Ryan's life. Both have gone through so much..It has molded their personalities.
The story starts off with Mysuki coming to US for a business deal. She's the new Yakuza(Japan mafia) head after her dad died. She suspects he was killed and maybe the killers are after her now..
The deal is important to show that she's perfect for the position.
Ryan's ex-military now a bouncer. That's how they met 1st, in the club. She'd drank herself silly, to be free once (she's pretty powerful even then!), He helped her to go safely to her hotel. So Wild.
Due to this, he also lost his job..
So imagine The Déjà vu when she's also his new Boss? So Prime and Proper.
(they've a mutual friend/cousin!)
He's to be her bodyguard 24/7. she has another one but he doesn't speak English, also childhood friends!
Through Meetings, Talks he expects her business is something illegal. Even then their attraction grows.
When he saves her And her dignity twice(1st in a Car Racing Attack then in a meeting), she knows she can't deny her feelings anymore.
Even after knowing her business he accepts her, makes her smile.
So they gave into one wild night. Though now, she needs him To play the role of her husband. For the sake of the deal.
Will he? Leave her OR take the job?
I hate that Daniel guy, he's their old partner, american. He treated Mysuki as a child! Connected better to Ryan.
Hence, with Ryan's this ability, Mysuki wants to balance the trade-off b/w Japan-US. Let's see if this'll work or not..

Wow! This is an exciting read. It's the tale of a recently discharged (not quite dishonorably) soldier with a penchant for a quick temper and irrational behavior. Mysuki' s father has just been killed and the funeral done when she steps up to the plate to take over as Yakuza boss as her Father was before his death. She has been groomed for this role and attended college in the United States. Mysuki first meets Ryan at a club where he is a bouncer and she is there with two of her girlfriends getting drunk. He leaves his post just before his shift is up to drive her hotel as she is falling down drunk and her girlfriends had left. He needs a job after being fired from the club and she hires him as one of her two bodyguards. Now things really start getting exciting but there are some funny moments also. Ryan plays an important role during negotiations and there are several twists. Great read.

Fascinating with a unique blend of juxtaposition in her plot, Mya ties in danger,revenge and romance in Unlawful Orders. Indecent Desires. I love the main female protagonist, Mysuki who is a Japanese billionaire. She remains stoically courageous as she mourns the death of her father while at same time being plunged into taking up the helm at Yakuza, Japan's most feared clan. Mya builds her characters to show many facets from the way Mysuki handles her new position with firm authority and finesse whether she is dealing with a male dominated boardroom in Japan or to some fast paced action on the streets of Chicago, Mysuki shows just how capable she is behind the wheel of a Bugatti. I absolutely love Ryan, an American, is her polar opposite. With his ex military background, an imposing stature and a chiselled body, he is the perfect candidate as her bodyguard. Although his tendency to volatility got him into trouble in the past, he is funny and has an empathic soul. Ryan further proves that he is not only physically equipped to protect Mysuki, but also skillful in negotiating which makes him indispensable to Mysuki. I thoroughly enjoyed the banter between Ryan and Mysuki and found myself smiling along during many parts of their budding romance. The only negative comment I can make is that the book ended. I kept swiping until I realized that I had reached the end.What a cliffhanger. I cannot wait to read Unlawful Orders. Tokyo Detail to see where Ryan and Mysuki takes us!

Mysuki must keep up a strong front, even though she has just lost her father, and suspects he was murdered, because there are plenty of men eager to topple her off the boss spot and take the reigns of the Yakuza. She has to go and finish a deal in America, and she crosses paths with Ryan a former military man with anger issues, especially over how his life is falling apart. Although Ryan has his problems, he doesn't turn his back on protecting those who deserve it. I loved this first book in this series, both Mysuki and Ryan are interesting (and not perfect characters), and I liked Ryan's humour. I look forward to the next book.

Mya Grey - Thank you! I was able to read this book for free. I am now in love with this series. Indecent Desire has so many unexpected turns it will keep you very intrigued throughout. I loved getting to know the main characters. Mysuki doesn't have time to mourn her father's death because she has to take her rightful place as the new Yakuza boss and go to America to secure a business deal. Ryan has just been discharged from the military and having a hard time adjusting to finding employment. They have a chance meeting at a night club where Ryan becomes her knight in shining armor so when he jobs up to interview for a job as her bodyguard, she hires him immediately.
This book offers suspense and romance, murder and mayhem all rolled into one. Can't wait to read the next book in the series Tokyo Detail.

Grrr so does he go... I loved this page turner but I am not a fan of cliff hangers. Thank you Mya for writing this book for us to enjoy.

The characters are beautifull developed, and the story is exciting.
The only downfall is the cliffhanger.

A good start for an interesting series, unfortunately all I got was a teaser. Inside the teaser it says click here for the first book in the trilogy, but again, unfortunately, my Kindle don't play that game and I can't seem to find Mya Grey the author anywhere. Edit: okay, I had to do a Google search, but I found the author and was able to download a different book of hers, bummer! Meh, the trials that some authors put their readers through...

Wow loved this book. Grabbed me right from the beginning. Love. The characters and the story line. Cannot wait to read the rest of the books. I would highly reccomend this series. In fact I did and a friend is now reading it.

Read with the prequel. This is not my usual taste in books but May nailed it. Love this storyline can not wait to read the rest of the series and watch the character development. This book was great and the series has the potential to be amazing.

A great read. It has it all. Danger. Revenge. Mystery. A very strong female. A handsome, big bodyguard. Actually, two. Strong attraction. Taboo relationship. Fake marriage. But also a cliffhanger...... Book 2 is coming soon.
