We grow through challenge and discomfort. Having my father and uncle struggle with heart disease and cancer forced me to look at my daily habits. I discuss the holistic benefits of plant based eating, meditation, movement, fasting, cold therapy, purpose, positive relationships, and how the health of the soil, water, and air quality directly affects our wellness. Holistic Human is an easy, practical read that delivers achievable takeout tips that anyone can start today towards a more holistic life. From meditation to eating to relationships to spirituality (and loads more), Brad has cleverly articulated the rationale for each recommended expansive wellness habit then talks you through how to inject more of that into your day - and all in bite-sized formats. I loved reading a chapter then putting it down and reflecting, journalling what resonated for me, what I want to bring into my life and what I want to research further (heaps of great references are provided). It's a great guide to have alongside to keep focused on what's really important for an individual's overall wellbeing and for the health of our communities and planet.

This book is incredible in giving actionable advice. It has a great mix of story, facts, actions and references that make it entertaining while also being practical. It is very easy to read and perfect for highlighting, annotating and making your own. I really enjoyed this book and I think it will have a large positive impact on my life while giving direction to find more tailored information. It has a list of references and recommendations at the end of every chapter which are quite thought out and enable analysis of the quality of information. Overall I will read this again and again. Absolute must read.
