There are always the dangerous idiots. I was very surprised that they didn't stay more vigilant. Crazy how things ended and the twist was phenomenal...
A horrifying journey through a zombie apocalypse. A great cast of characters and an intense action packed storyline. Alyssa and her group of survivors have been surviving for the past few months. As in any zombie apocalypse you know this cannot stand. Something must happen. Follow along as they must contend with a natural disaster more zombies and of course the scourge of humanity A group of lowlifes that are only out to take advantage of anyone they can. The type of people that will kill the men capture the women and children. Use the women for their own deviant needs and the children as leverage against them. What will happen can our group survive? Extreme action violence and bloodshed zombies death. You know the zombie apocalypse. An intense and extraordinary read from beginning to end. Oh and by the way once you get to the end just be aware, Uh Oh. I can’t wait for the next book.
When humanity seems like it's about to be sniffed out, brave heroes find ways to keep man going on top of the food chain. I like Nurse Alissa, she is compassionate, smart, dedicated to preserving life even when some don't deserve her compassion. Some people like Dickson will try to use brute force to get people to do harm while they hide. The characters are well-defined and each have a story, but how long will their safe haven last? What's up with the thinking deaders?? Haven't read much about zombies that can strategize, or understand anything beyond the need to feed. Alissa and company better watch out!
Wow, this is book 3 and the series just keeps getting better with each book. This book did not disappoint, a fast pace action thrill ride. I am glad that this writer does not feel the need to just kill the core characters off to to kill them off. I like how these books all have mini endings. Read this author and leave your reviews. Can’t wait until book4.
Alissa and the others have settled in at the cabin and now boredom is setting in. Another group of not so nice survivors want what they have. Meanwhile Mother Nature may have a few tricks up her sleeve to make life much more interesting and probably not in a good way. To find out what will happen, you'll have to read this great tale of survival. Waiting for the next book in this series.
Wow what an ending!! Great read , I zoomed through this one had hard time putting it down, I fought to stay awake, I didn't want go sleep until I finished , exhaustion won out finally put first thing I woke up I had to grab book even before my coffee, lol I read while heating up my Keurig it got intense last couple chapters , I love it Great Series
This book was great until the end.... I’m not sure I like where this is going!!! It’s a little confusing the way the author bounces between the different groups and there is one paragraph where they mention a person I do not even recognize but the story is still good!!
Firestone is another exciting and thrilling book in this series. The group continues to fight against the dead and some really nasty humans as well as surviving a fierce fire. A twist at the end leads to what can only be another great book.
Third book still awesome. The group is evolving and becoming an awesome team. We see the depravity of humans, while also seeing hope. The end though... book 4 can’t come soon enough.
This was great. Alyssa and her friends must battle zombies, evil people, and nature in this episode. Plus there is a scary little twist at the end. I can't wait for the next one.
Enjoying the series on Alissa. As much as I enjoy the books, hope there aren’t too many more. I lose interest with too many books. I am hoping maybe 2 more otherwise ....
I read the entire book in one sitting. So far this is the best of the series. New characters, some to hate, some to like and the anxiety of possible annihilation wouldn't let me sleep until i was done
The bad guys are BAD, the good guys are tired. Definitely a page turner. You find yourself rooting for the group and hoping that they make it, while knowing that they all won’t.
This book in the series was a little hard to read. Not because it wasn’t good. I won’t spoil too much, but it’s sad how there really is people who are this horrible in the real world.
Really good story . Our group have battled the low lives survived a massive fire and added some new survivor's to the group. Looking forward to the next book.
Wow this story line is really good. I love how the characters are growing and changing as things happen. The story is getting so good and I can not wait to read more!
