Great little read
Never owned a dog but hoping to get a puppy in next year or so. I’m trying to understand as much as possible before getting them so they don’t learn habits I have to then break.. I’ve always been told that dogs go where they want and when they want by dog owners as I’ve complained about the mess on the street. The understanding that I could train my dog to go before going out has made a HUGE difference to my desire to get a dog. This book makes it very easy to understand and I liked the behavioural understanding behind it. Also recommend YouTube channel. I’ve basically had a box set weekend of dog training 😂

Great resource
Simple, concise, and practical. This book succeeds in giving an overview of important points for readers who need a quick pass, but then also a more in depth review of the 'why' for all the techniques.

Understanding your dog
Very helpful!!! If you want to successfully potty train your dog, you first need to understand how your dog thinks. If you don't, there will be misunderstanding and frustration.
