Quick easy going romance.
BIG Insta love, very minimal drama.
Shy (somewhat sheltered) heroine + Alpha (but not OTT) hero = quick but sweet love story.

Strange, but sweet, story.
If it had been longer, there was a lot of information I would have loved to have explained or shown.
I liked the hero, except he came across a bit too rough for me. Referring to women as "chicks"...there just seemed to be a lack of emotional intelligence and too much of a "bro" personality, but he was a good guy.
Also...she didn't have any discomfort when losing her V card?? C'mon....

Nice short read. Mary is very innocent and almost seems brainwashed by her controlling mother. Character of the Mother seemed to be a little over the top. Things quickly escalate once she meets Leon who helps her to develop some self esteem and backbone. Connecting characters in this series, but stand alone stories.

Short and Sassy...
Insta-love at it's best! Leon saves Mary from a life of verbal abuse and his love and support allow Mary to bloom into the women she was meant to be. Great quick read before bed or on a lunch break. Mature eyes only due to hot 🔥 loving!!!
