A second chance romance just in time for Christmas!
A misunderstanding lead to losing the love of my life and I didn’t even realize it.
Luna
When Harrison left for school forever away, I thought that was the end. I moved on.
Now, two years later, I’m back in town and have my own massage business. But Christmas is a lonely time when you’re alone so I accept a friend’s invitation to a holiday dinner. Imagine my surprise when I come face to face with the man I’d loved more than I knew I could.
This could be my only opportunity for a second chance.
Harrison
I never thought following my dream would cost me my girl. I’d spent the last two years coming to terms with that. Yes thinking about Luna is still like a knife to the gut.
This Christmas, my boss decided to have a dinner for lonely people and I’m happy to work it. Never did I dream I’d see Luna’s name on the guest list.
She’s back in Lake Shores and when I see her, I immediately want her, but the question becomes… After she left me once, can I trust her enough to give us another shot?
Heather Young-Nichols is a USA Today Bestselling author of contemporary and paranormal romances. She writes swoony heroes and snarly heroines with a heap of romance.
When she's not writing, she's binging a show with her kids, watching baseball, or snuggling with her cuddly animals.
Wow. This sweet, angsty story really pulled at my heart strings. Second chances are something I live for in my reading and Harrison and Luna are a couple I badly needed to see get another shot to get it right. They are utterly adorable together, but perfect opportunities pulled them apart. Will they do better the second time around, or will all the old insecurities and pride get in the way again? There were so many times I wanted to take this pair and shake some sense into them, but at the same time, I wanted to hug them tight and promise to make it all better. There’s more in this world I want to know about and I’m dying to get my hands on other stories that will tie into this one I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.
At the end of every book I read, I always want to know what happens after “and they lived happily ever after”. This story has given me that in all the best of ways. Harrison and Luna show us that ‘happily ever after’ isn’t always a smooth road, but with love and perseverance, it can be forever. There are also some hints about what might be the next story to come and I’m very curious to see where that will take us. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
☃️☃️ONE REMARKABLE DELIGHT☃️☃️ Flying fritters frosty! Heather brought out the big guns, heavy artillery and ammo aplenty, serving up some seasonal magic, holiday cheer and festive frolicking, grabbing you from the start and holding steady till the end, propelling this jewel skyrocketing. Surprising events and serendipity descend in a flurry of charmed strategy and subtle maneuvers, obscured perimeters and blurred lines solidify as limitations are relaxed and tested, secrets confessed, revelations unmasked and promises made, blasting this bad boy into the eye of the hurricane, bursting it into a frenzy with astonishing results. The attraction and chemistry collides with such ease and adoration, baring boundless emotions and infinite affections, binding them together beautifully. The characters, banter, dialogue, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits, blend and flow, adding depth and diversity, transforming into outstanding personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and graphic descriptions creating an elaborate backdrop so rich and lively it feels as though you're part of the story instead of on the sidelines. Amazing job Heather, thanks for sharing this amazing thrill with us.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book Harrison and Luna meet at a job fair where they flirt a little as their booths are next to each other. Before they both leave they give each other a voucher for their services. Luna gives a massage voucher and Harrison gives a meal voucher. Neither asks if the other is single. They both use their complementary voucher and as they are single Harrison asks her out. It’s not long into their relationship when Harrison breaks the news that he will be away for six months in Oregon training to be a sommelier. Meanwhile Luna lands a dream job opportunity working in a spa in Arizona, meaning she will make enough money to save for her own business. When she tells Harrison he gets annoyed that she won’t be in Lake Shores when he returns. It seems that is the end to their relationship. When her mum dies suddenly Luna returns to town and decides now is the time to open her business as she now has a paid for home. She finds a local bistro offering Christmas dinner to single so she books a place for her and Jess. Jess doesn’t tell her that this is the bistro where Harrison now works. This was interesting to read. The right people for each other just bad timing involved, but luckily they get a second chance.
Harrison and Luna meet at a job fair representing their respective businesses and from there a relationship begins. Harrison wants to become a sommelier and leaves for Oregon to peruse his dream leaving Luna at home in a long distance relationship. After many week of busy lives Luna is offered a job a high end spa to learn extensive techniques in massage therapy. The long distance hasn’t been working and the two break up even though they still love each other.
A few years later they return home. Luna with her own business and Harrison a sommelier at a new restaurant. They reconnect and they soon realize their love for each other never died. Soon new obstacles are put in their. Will they be able to withstand another distance relationship or not.
Loved this second chance story. They characters were perfectly matched and well developed. Each knew what they wanted in their work lives and their personal lives. Highly recommend this book. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
All I Want by Heather Young-Nichols ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They met some time ago...very innocently at a trade show. Harrison Flynn was a wanna-be chef. Luna Love is a massage therapist. Both start out in northern Michigan and find their mutual attraction only a temporary distraction since they each have higher hopes. Harrison leaves for Oregon, not sure for how long. Luna goes to Arizona to learn to run not just manage, a complete spa. Their paths seem to diverge and ruin any future plans they may have made. Will they ever get back together? Does either one want to get back together? Will they ever get back to Michigan? It’s a long road each travels, but in the end things have changed ... good or bad? I fell in love with Luna and with Harrison, they are each so strong and focused, in their own ways. An angsty, emotional ride ... definitely worth the price of admission!

Harrison and Luna had a good start to their relationship, but then in a short time, they both had moved away from Michigan to go after their dreams. Both were heartbroken, and within two years they were both back and surprised each other at an event. Slowly they threaded their relationship back together, and even hotter with deeper emotions. A painting party with close friends works wonders. Miscommunication about a local winery causes a lot of stress between Harrison and Luna until family stepped in with support and ideas of what might be wrong. Harrison knows how to make Luna melt into a puddle and this time it was with a wine bottle. A really great short story that will bring a lot of smiles to your face.

Luna and Harrison were everything to each other until the feelings of abandonment kicked in and Luna felt she had to move on, why not it seemed as though Harrison did. He was bettering himself for them but failed to explain why he left. But even though the years have past the love never died, the fire still had a flame. One misunderstanding and life seemed over, one lonely hearts dinner and that life is revived. But trust and fear are holding them back, the wasted years and memories of lonely nights give them a second chance at love

This was a great romance. Luna and Harrison have quite the love for each other but things happen! Their chemistry together is so undeniably explosive and steamy hot. Their second chance love was even steamier this time round. To be honest, Ithough Harrison could’v been much more supportive in the beginning, but he matured and got better. This story was fun, sad, happy and just a rollercoaster of emotions.

This is a second chance romance between chef Harrison and massage therapist Luna. Once they re-connect, it is a journey of self-discovery as these two flawed but likeable characters figure out a renewed relationship between them with love and intimacy while overcoming life's challenges. It is a love story with enough drama, excitement, frustrating moments, sweetness, some twists and sizzling chemistry. Overall, it is a quick read with engaging secondary characters and a happy for now ending.

Harrison and Luna find love at first site but 6 months in and each of their dreams cause them to move away and distance ends their relationship. 2 years later both are back and since neither lost their feelings they rekindle their romance. There are obstacles in their way between others thinking it’s a bad idea to try again and things that were put in motion before Luna moved back it’s not easy. Can these two find their hea? This has great characters and I hope Lunaks bff gets her story next!

Luna and Harrison made a fun couple until circumstances intervened. I enjoyed the story and how they both decided to try to advance their careers, not realizing how it would take a tole on their relationship. I really enjoyed that several years later they had grown up, had their careers of their dreams, and were given a second chance. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

Luna and Harrison were together and then they were not. Two years go by and they are at a holiday party for lonely people. They meet up and Luna realizes that she really missed Harrison, and Harrison is a little leary of being hurt again. Will they be able to get past the past and head to a future. I loved this story. I loved the characters and how they interacted. Wonderful warm holiday read.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This was a second chance at love for Luna and Harrison. Both of them felt that they lost their chance at love when they started their careers. They reconnect at a dinner party and the chemistry between them is just as strong as before. Their broken hearts will get mended this holiday season.

This is my go-to author ever since I've read Cross. This is the story about Luna and Harrison. The story is told in the dual, first person point of view, which is always a deal breaker for me. Also I loved Harrison and for me the guy is the one that plays a factor in a decision whether or not I'll continue the story. Nobody writers heros like Heather.

Now two years later they are both in their hometown and the spark is still there. This sweet love story has drama, angst, misunderstandings, love, and believable characters that pulled at my heartstrings. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
YES!! LOVED Harrison’s story. I was so excited to read about broody Harrison after finishing Marilee and Girard’s story. I loved this story a second chance for Harrison and Luna. They both moved due to work and the long distance separated them. Not they are both back home and are reconnecting because they never forgot one another. Their story is so great!!!!

This is a cute feel good read. A lovely second chance romance with endearing characters. Harrison and Luna both left town to follow their career goals and got separated along the way, this is their second chance. Luna's best friend, Jessica adds some funny moments, while Harrison's brother makes you want to scream. Tons of fun and a good read.
Luna and Harrison meet and connect instantly but life takes them on different paths. Luna moves back to Michigan to open her own spa and runs into Harrison again. It’s 2 years later, can they reconnect and rekindle what they lost? Great story and author.

Luna and Harrison have chemistry galore but time doesn't seem to be on their side. Will they let distance keep them apart? Will they make the most of their second chance, even when others don't seem to support them? This is a quick and easy holiday read with plenty of heart and soul as these two fight their way through time and distance to find their HEA...
Miscommunications always cause problems and I feel like that's what happened with Luna and Harrison. I felt for them and I kept pushing for them to make it work the second time around. Their love and chemistry is still palpable, even years later. This is a sweet, sometimes angsty, holiday romance that had me swooning.
This is absolutely a fantastic second chance book with all the feels. Luna and Harrison come face to face again and the sparks still fly but Harrison is leery to give himself completely to luna again can they overcome their past? Fantastic holiday book and wonderful characters who you can feel their emotions.

This is my first read from Heather and definitely won't be my last. I'll be keeping an eye out for more of her books. The only thing that would of made Harrison and Luna's story even better would of been an epilogue ❤ 😀

An easy read for the season with a predictable plot and wonderful characters who bring all the emotions of the season to the pages of this novel. The narrative was well-paced keeping the reader invested in the story to the very last word.
All I Want (Holiday Bites Book 2) is a second chance romance between Harrison and Luna who met, had instant chemistry, went their separate ways and reignited the flames just in time for Christmas. A sweet romantic story with a bit of humor.
