I am having the best time reading the books about Bird. If I'm having a good time, I'm sure your kiddo will too. I highly recommend these emergent or beginning reader book set. There is a word list after the story you could practice before you read or after. Little bird has lost his home. He goes around asking a different animals if he can share theirs. The illustrations are bright and charming. Which animals will you see? What do their homes look like? You get to team read/read to find out?! Jumping around excited, that's me. How about you?
