Charmaine and Jessi Joliet are sisters who run Joliet Investigations. As psychic investigators, their cases always proving or disproving the presence of ghostly phenomenal. Their police detective friend, Bryan Harrison asks Charmaine to investigate the supposed ghostly happenings at Senator O'Donavan's mother's house. At the same time, Jessi is asked to rid Ted DeSouza's house of the spirit of a man who died there. Both sisters work elsewhere, Charmaine is a psychic clinician and Jessi works in an attorney's office. They take both cases and soon find out they are connected through several of the parties in both cases. Between hunting for psychic phenomena, dealing with Voodoo priestess, and fighting off ghostly attacks, they find that the senator's mother has died and the death in DeSouza's house was murder. A fast paced story that keeps you jumping from one aspect to the next.

I enjoyed this story . The Joliet sisters are psychics who manage to get themselves into more trouble than they want to handle. Jessi is outgoing, smart mouthed and sassy, while Charmaine tries to tone her down. They often help the police with investigations. This is an engaging read with comic relief. i would have liked more action to take place earlier in the book , but overall it was great. I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest review.
