YOGA THEMES, INSPIRING MEMORABLE Illustrated themes for teachers planning classes and anyone practising on their own. As an advertising Art Director I learnt how to communicate ideas clearly in an accurate, compelling and interesting way. It's been a joy to be able to apply these skills to yoga, which I’ve been teaching for nearly 30 years. THIS is for all styles of yoga with no lists of postures, Sanskrit or gurus. It has insights about the inner experience of doing yoga. My most effective classes have been those where I started out with a clear vision of what I intended to communicate. A theme used as a thread to wind through the practice. Themes offer teachers the freedom to react to circumstances. To adapt to the pupil while still imparting (or learning) something specific, tangible and memorable. I hope you’ll be inspired to use these themes in your own way.
