Cold-blooded murder.

Do I have it in me?

I’ve watched the people I love commit the worst kinds of crimes and within the blink of an eye, I could be just like them. I feel the jagged glass beneath my fingers, but do I have the strength to follow this through? How much of my soul am I willing to sacrifice to make this right?

Nic was supposed to be my rock. He was supposed to be my world until he showed me a side of himself that terrified me. He’s not the boy I once loved, he’s a man who’s quickly becoming the monster in my nightmare.

Colton saved me. Colton keeps saving me, but I don’t know if he can pull me back this time. He has secrets of his own, but they leave me wondering just who it is that I’m falling for.

He lied to me.

With momma Carrington and the b*tch twins back, Jude Carter hostage in the wine cellar, a killer on the loose, and a secret I never saw coming, my life is seconds away from spiraling out of control.

The question is: Who will be there when I come out the other end?

Ocean has had a LOT to contend with- evil “stepmothers” and her bratty kids, a looming gang riot, trauma upon trauma, tragic loss, heartache, murder and mayhem, and countless lies. Our girl Ocean is now in crisis-an existential one. Not only is the world around her imploding, but so is her sense of self. For the first two books, Ocean experiences so much change, so much trauma, uncovers so many lies, and finds her identity in a whole new world...in a whole new family. Situating herself in this new world, forging new relationships and evolving others, and responding to some pretty jaw dropping situations has slowed down her processing- has kept her from fully unpacking the extent to which this has changed her. What was once black and white is now grey, where she once felt strong, she now feels weak, how she used to feel in control now she feels played. And after that explosive cliffhanger in book 2, we find Ocean at a crossroads. She’s facing down her darkness, forced to examine the parts of herself that are different, that are raw, that are still evolving. Is Ocean Munroe who she thought she is- who WE thought she is? That is the metaphysical journey of queen Ocean in BB.

And, because of that journey, at times Ocean is frustrating. Because she’s struggling to navigate what is right and wrong when everything she thought about her world has been a lie. When the people around her are different from who she thought. Or perhaps more so, when the people around her prove to be what she ignored them to be. So, she waffles some- she ping pongs back and forth between different aspects of her identity, her heart saying one thing while the revelations and her mind says something else. From start to finish, Ocean makes decisions from an emotional, confused place, and we can’t really blame here- lie after lie are exposed in BB. Just when you’ve got it all figured out, Sheridan Ann throws more at us and Ocean. This story keeps you on your toes- Ocean’s journey is compelling, and we experience her disorientation, her confusion side by side- as we, too, are torn about just who to trust and what to do.

But SA also gives us a center- Ocean and Colton have finally come together, and while the world around them continues to expose itself, we finally get to see them work together as a team. NO more denial, no more bullying- we see two people open to each other, vulnerable and honest. And it helps Ocean realize something very important- loving someone means treating them as an equal, letting them be by your side, being partners. She no longer wants to stand behind all the men in her life- she wants to stand on her own. And even if she doesn’t know what is okay or not okay for her, she knows that truth. And this relationship is giving me LIFE- not to mention, this is some of the sexiest chemistry SA has ever written. SIZZLING!

The story pace, like the past book, felt much slower in the first half vs. the latter- and in part, this is because Ocean and those around her are reorienting, adjusting, processing. While I was craving more answers and feeling unclear just where the story was going, I also felt incredibly gratified (and proud) to see Ocean FINALLY sit in her emotional, to process all she’s experienced. And then, unexpectedly, SA showed us exactly where this story was going- just when I thought we’d only get more lies, when the web would just get more tangled, Sheridan drops some BOMBS on us and Ocean. What this means is yet to be determined, but our conclusion is probably the most earth shattering climax yet. Totally unexpected, jaw dropping, and clear as mud. But it comes back to where this book all begins- how much has Ocean changed as the result of this life? What is she willing to accept or do? Who is Ocean Munroe, and who is she willing to be? I don’t know what’s next, but I know what Ocean accepted slowly but surely, what Ocean was struggling to embrace or understand: Ocean has been altered, changed. Just how much- time will tell- but I have a feeling our bad-a leading lady will no longer allow herself to be at the mercy of the machinations of those around her. I’m DYING to know what this means- and we’ll just have to find out in the epic finale!

WTF!!! 😫😢

This book was epic, soo much happens it's blown my brain 🤯😂 ... I love Ocean, but by the end of this book I was so frustrated with her. I can't even go into detail without giving any spoilers! Lets just say ocean keeps going on about people lying to her but..... SECRETS SECRETS SECRETS 🤦🏻‍♀️Dont even get me started on that ending!! WHAT!! WHY?? I know she has been through hell and I do love her but man 🤦🏻‍♀️come on girl, I'm rooting for you, surprise the shit out of me and make your plan a bloody good one!!.. Colton 💖💖 I just adore him, he can't do no wrong in my eyes 😂 ... I'm sooo pissed at a certain character, I wanted them to get redemption but that's well and truly gone now. Absoloute w*nker... can you tell how invested I am in this series?? 😂 I might sound like I'm ranting alot but it's only because I'm passionate and love it 🙌🏼😂 this book killed me. I can only imagine how the next book is going to affect me, I'm taking @booksboysandnails advice and getting myself a large glass of wine and chocolate ready for it 😂

I would have given t 4 stars because it wasn't bad yet it lacked originality and the loss of logic was just too much throughout the whole book. The heroine was a cliche -hating when people lie to her, leaving them, making horrible choices - but she herself lies and lies and lies time and again. Characters usually grow within a book, they get smarter. Not our heroine. She's a walking contradiction of bad decisions.
So, I am disappointed, she was portrayed as a bad bitch yet she has yet to show me anything remotely close to it. Turned me off completely. It's the same unoriginal storyline over and over again one of these days can we get a truly strong female lead??

This series has gone in a direction that I did not want to see coming!

I have a feeling book 4 is going to have devastating outcomes and no matter all the rubbish they have done, I still love all of these characters, except Jude, and really hope they all find a place in each other’s lives!

Hmm.... This book gets 3 stars just because I feel the author lost the plot several times. There were too many competing stories and at I point I even had to ensure I was reading a romance novel. Oceania's internal dialogue was often too long and repetitive. Like I don't need to know her every thought. I think the author was trying to portray her as a strong no b.s. woman but she often sounded whiny, impulsive and indecisive. I was ready to throw my whole Kindle away if I read the phrase "my boys" one more time. Let's not even talk about Oceania claiming to be falling more in love with Colton everyday but somehow has a long ass internal monologue about how Nic and his tattoo are the sexiest thing she has ever seen just before she cockblocks her friend Drix because it would hurt her (Oceania) too much but somehow it is for her friend's own good. Ugh.
The book would have done better with more focus on Colton and Oceania. It made no sense why Ocean kept lying and turning to every other male but her love interest. There were many times when Colton wasn't even in the storyline. The ending also made no logical sense. Like just why? Hopefully tho plot is more focused in the final book.

It’s a DNF at 79% I didn’t know there was going to be another book, I wouldn’t have continued the series if I’d known. I was losing interest in book two but wanted to push through because I love the guys. I don’t care for Ocean at all, I stopped reading when she called Colton a monster and said he was just like Nic and The Widows, then went running to Nic?! I mean come on!

“You’re acting like a fucking Barbie bitch. You need to remember who you are and where you belong.”
————————————————————————-
Alright, now this novel has given me straight up mixed feelings. I don’t know if I love it, or hate it, to be honest. This novel definitely kept me on my toes, and I finished it in one day. However, the events that took place are not exactly my favourite. There is a lot going on, even more with the cliffhanger, and I am not the happiest with it. I’d like to think that Sheridan Anne has a reason for everything she writes because all these books so far have come together seamlessly. But I honestly don’t know what to feel about this book because the events just don’t sit right with me. BUT, I have to admit, I am still loving the series as a whole, and need to know what’s going to happen. I just really hope it’s good because I have really enjoyed being emerged in this world.
————————————————————————-
I know I have praised Oceania in the previous books, but I think this book really gave me mixed feelings about her. I think her actions, while she thinks are good intentions, aren’t the best. She seems slightly all over the place in this book, and I hope it redeems in the final book. Colton is still my favourite for the entire series, I think he’s had major growth. He blurs the lines between a complete sweetheart and a complete badass, and it’s hot as hell. I genuinely love the chemistry and relationship between the two, but Oceania needs to get her shit together😂
————————————————————————-
If you are looking for a suspenseful read, full of twists that you may... or may not see coming, with a lot is sexy ass scenes, this may be the series for you.

I would give this novel 4-discombobulated-stars✨

Lies and Betrayl

Holy freaking crap!! That ending ... I kept trying to scroll praying that there was more 😳😳

I'm dead☠️☠️

That was omg freaking AMAZING!! 💔💔

The book picks right back off to where it left your with the darkness looming over O threatening to overtake her. She was literally at war with her self. And Colton saved her. Their love is just so amazing and addicting to read about.

This book throws more betrayal and more lies at O but at the same time she begins to FINALLY uncover the truths she so rightfully needed to. Both things will begin to pick away her walls. But she can only run so far and so long before it all catches up.😳😳

I have to say I was feeling a little bad for Nic throughout some of this bc you can tell her loves O in his own way but I can say after the revelations of this book he's a grade A douche canoe...🤦🏻‍♀️ How do you do the things he has done to her and then stand by her side like your her protector what the what?!?🤯🤯👊👊 Like come on!?!

I'm really really really hoping that despite what O has determined (which is utterly earth shattering) that this isn't going to be the end of her and Carrington... She is being selfless but at what cost??😭😭💔💔 .... Just no!!! What they finally have have been like a moth to a flame and utterly explosive it just can't be!!!

Oh and the new romances in this book were an AWESOME addition!! 💥💥

These books are seriously just getting more intense and better and better!! Could not put it down once I started it! 🥰🥰

If you have not checked out this series do your self a favor and CHECK IT OUT!! You will not be sorry!!♥️♥️ This story will make you laugh, it will make you cry and sometimes it will make you wanna punch someone in the throat 👊👊but it will ALWAYS AND I MEAN ALWAYS keep you on the edge of your seat and begging for more!!😁😁

DNF.
Shelving this for later.
I just can't deal with all the teenage drama, especially when teens be pretending to be all grown up, acting like they run the world. 🙄 *eye-roll*
B/#€ please..

With that being said, I'm kinda curious how this might end, so I might pick it back up later on.

Peace,
A.

Barbie B*tch by Sheridan Anne is a dark high school bully romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lessa Lamb and Blake Lockheart. This is the third book in the Rejects Paradise series.

I absolutely love Sheridan's books! I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. There were a few times I wanted to scream at the boys in Oceania's life. But I love that she keeps her head held high and pushes through.

The book ends on another amazing cliffhanger that left me with so many question on what Oceania is thinking! I can't wait for the final book in the series Ride or Die to be released on audio so I can get more of Oceania story.

Lessa and Blake did an amazing job on the narration. I can't wait to listen to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves dark romances, bully romances, or young adult romances.

Alright Barbie B*tch.

Ocean is mad annoying. At the end of the day, I am falling out of love with Ocean as a character, especially in this book. I believe she could make a come back in the next one. However, I just get annoyed with hearing her justify the difference between being with a billionaire who is a cold-blooded killer and leader of a gang The Widows.

Honestly, at one point it felt like a New Moon monologue where Bella is so depressed. That's how I emotionally felt about Ocean being a fucking pin pong about her reasons for loving Colton and hating Nick.

Now, don't get me wrong. Nick is all types of twisted. I am so happy that the soap opera of Nick and Ocean is finally over. It needed to be done. The fact that Nick only feels butthurt because the woman that he 'thinks' he loves is in love with another man and he feels like that's his property and only he can play with it when he wants. Nick is a mess. He is a fucking psycho. I love him but that but he needed to move on like three books ago. Because I am so over here it.

Okay, let's jump back to Ocean putting Colton on some type of pedestal. I hated it. And the fact that he called her out on it in his solo chapter was the best. He was right Ocean really hides behind this big bad energy that really is only there because she is a gang girl with a gang to do her dirty work. I actually would have liked Ocean to kill Jude because all that big bad energy would have made her likable and darker and not such an annoying walking contradiction.

Like a lot of Dark Romance tropes, you end up loving the men more because of the lack of energy that is put into the heroine. That is never the case with this series. However, I feel like because Ocean thinks she is tough shit, and thinks she is like a barbie bitch but really has no energy to bark back she is annoying as hell. I love her spicy energy. And we know she wants to stand on her own. But then when things get tough she runs back to Nick. Toxic fucking NICK.

AND NOW AFTER ALL OF THIS. SHE GOES TO THE WOLVES?

Oh, girlfriend, when will you ever learn. She talks about changing her life and making something better for herself, but she cannot let this shit go with the gangs.

OCEAN is a beautiful, flawed and twisted character. Even though all my shit, I do love this series. It's great. It has so many things all mashed into one. But Ocean just needs a real bitch to show her how to be a queen.

Can we talk about the fact she might be pregnant with Jude's baby?
Yeah.

That's crazy AF! Oh Sheridan I see you!

Overall, I give this a 3.8.

I want more Colton chapters. That was actually really good! I love his insight into Ocean and into himself.

This series is giving me whiplash in the best way, Ocean has me screaming at her at times and loving her at others, there is so much yet to get discovered, so many secrets, and of course the cliffy of hell. Colton is amazing I really love him. I don't even know what to expect next in the following book, I so need it now! The audiobook narrated by Lessa Lamb and Blake Lockheart had me enjoying the story even more. I really liked how they both work together, they deliver what is expected and then some. Better get the audiobook to get this amazing experience.

dafuq? Fuck this book and fuck this flimsy heroine. The first 2 books were juicy enough to consume although I debated on continuing.. this book was okay up until like 70%

I liked the mama drama with Coltons mom and the budding friendships with the girls, Harrison coming around and her love life finally becoming stable.

Then.. her mom finds out she was raped and instead of having a mature conversation about it the mom (who I lived up until this point) accuses and shames Ocean for not telling her then locks herself in her bedroom to wallow. She asks 0 details like how/when/where and idk maybe a basic ARE YOU OKAY? Pfft

Ocean leaves Colton like she’s oh so shocked he shot someone even though she was hella chill with him chaining and starving his lifelong friend in the basement dungeon. She runs into the arms of a man who slit two men’s throats in front of her.. while making eye contact with her.. logic? None. Not to mention Nic is the one who texted her gloating about it like a manipulative prick.

Kai is like “I’d violate your privacy and remove your autonomy without batting an eyelash if I thought it’d keep you safe” and she jumps into his lap and forgives him. I understand doing what’s best for someone but as an adult, maybe making their own choices issss necessary.

THE CAMERAS WERE WHAT PUT HER IN YHE MOST DANGER BECAUSE A PSYCHOPATH WAS WATCHING THEM. The most dangerous thing that happened was Nic calling those brothers over to fuck the house up and it wouldn’t have happened if Nic wasn’t spying. It blows my mind that this is forgiven.

It’s also fucked up that misses “don’t ever hide things from me or lie to me” is hiding that previous important fact from the love of her life to protect the boys

So over it all.

This is book 3 in this series Rejects Paradise. This is a dark bully romance that carries straight on from book 2. It was a gripping read full of suspense and ends in a cliffhanger in this authors fabulous fashion.

Ocean is a taking hits from all over the place and it seems that everyone around is keeping some form of secret. All she wanted was for her guys to be the way they all once we're but, after what Nic has done to her over and over she can't take no more and nothing will ever be the same again.
Colton is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her safe no matter what, he loves Oceania with all his heart and he is willing to let his dark side out to protect her. Their connection is so strong between them and they have grown so much that you can't take your eyes off them both.

This book is full of twists and turns and dark shockers with secrets and so many lies it will make your head spin.
I absolutely loved reading this book and the characters were amazing. Ocean is a strong woman and I felt for her on so many levels reading this book.  I loved all the characters in this book even the side characters were great, Milo is freaking amazing.
This is a steamy read that is hot and you will love it. I loved all the drama, suspense and angst and the chemistry between them both is sizzling hot. I love this authors writing style and her books always captivate me right through until the very end.
Wow, I can't wait to read the next book. This author really is a one click author that everyone MUST READ.

5 stars for Barbie B*tch bu Sheridan Anne. This is the third in the Rejects Paradise series. Can I just start by saying how awesome the titles and covers in this series are? I love them! “That’s never going to happen. I told you, I/m not about to leave you, especially when you’re going through this. You are not a monster. You’re Oceania Munroe and you’re a f***ing warrior. You got that?” Ocean faces a lot in this book . She has Colton’s mom and sisters, gang wars, Nic, Jude, the Wolves, and all the mayhem these things bring to her life. I love how even though things seem to be falling apart around them, she is still strong and knows who she truly is and what she stands for. She seems to go through a change in this book with the more she experiences the stronger she seems to become. Colton has a dark side and I love that he is standing by Ocean even after seeing hers. These two are a true power couple facing down all the darkness in their lives. “No one takes from me and gets away with it. I will not be silenced.” The love between Colton and Ocean is addicting and I can’t wait to get my next fix. The lies and betrayal fill the pages and leave us with another epic cliffhanger.

Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5

This is the 3rd book in the rejects of paradise series and the story just keeps getting better and better. Just when you think there couldn’t possibly be any more secrets, that there couldn’t possibly be anything else that you missed ...another twist! Another jaw dropping secret is revealed. The amount of life altering secrets that Ocean endures is gut wrenching. One punch right after another, yet she continues to come up swinging. I just wish she would quit keeping secrets and trust those around her that love her.

I am a sucker for endings that make me want to throw my kindle against the wall and this one did not disappoint!! This ending had my heart hurting. Dying to see what happens next!!

The main characters just get more interesting and have more depth as the chapters go on and I’m just loving it.

I honestly keep thinking I can’t be more surprised and then something else is revealed and just blows my kind! Sheridan seriously knows how to keep you engaged in a story! And the ending of this.. holy moly I can not read the fourth and final book quick enough!

Wow

So I’m not gonna lie here. I am so not happy with how things went down in this book. I’m going with 5 stars because it was still a good book but man am I so furious that if I didn’t like me phone so much it would be in pieces. I never saw any of this coming and to be honest I don’t like how everything went down at all. I want to stab everyone but Colton. Ugh book 4 better fix all these issue right. I cant even begin to comprehend how things came to be the way they were. So far this is the only book in this series I have hated so much. And I say that but yet it was still a well written story. I just don’t like how things are turning out myself.

Just when I thought the Rejects Paradise series couldn't get any crazier.... Here comes Barbie B*tch to wreck me. So many crazy things happen in this book. And they just keep coming! I have no idea how Ocean manages to stay so strong throughout this book. You go girl! Don't even get me starting on the chemistry in this book. Ocean & Colton are so smoking hot! Lessa Lamb killed it as Ocean! And was great to listen to Blake Lockheart for the first time as Colton for 1 chapter.
