This author who pioneered the genre. People best know him for Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (1870).

Verne wrote about space, air, and underwater travel before people invented navigable aircraft and practical submarines and devised any means of spacecraft. He ranks behind Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie as the second most translated author of all time. People made his prominent films. People often refer to Verne alongside Herbert George Wells as the "father of science fiction."

Pour les cours, longues descriptions pas mon style mais j'ai bien aimé quand même l'intrigue du voyage

C'est la deuxième fois que j'ai lu ce roman, mais la première que j'ai faite ça en français. J'ai bien aimé cette édition, parce qu'elle est faite pour les étudiants du BAC. Je l'ai trouvé très intéressant pour les étrangers comme moi parce qu'il y a beaucoup d'annotations de mots qui seront très communs pour un locuteur natif.
