Another Great Ofelia and Sully Story!
I think Ofelia and Sully may be one of my favorite book couples. Perhaps even one of my favorite couples by this author, and she writes couples well. There’s just something so natural and low drama about their relationship, one of those ‘ham and eggs’ couples.
Ofelia’s father is mellowing (a little) on the whole “that’s my baby girl” attitude, and her kinda flaky, but loving, brother is supportive and a teensy bit intrigued by this serious dating thing.
So, of course . . . (Da dum) Enter The Moms. Both of them. Eeek! Overbearing Plus.
And a dead woman, an old nemesis, and -(huh), a pyramid scheme?
And, yeah, someone’s trying to magically kill our favorite bar owner and police detective.
Looking forward to the next one.
