Somehow Finding Us is book 2 in the Sinners of Seattle Series. This is Ethan’s story. I started this book with my heart in my throat, after the way the first book, Pieces of Us ended! This is the most emotional series I’ve read in a while. Ethan and Zeke met as two lost, broken teens. They each had horrific childhoods and were lucky enough to be taken in by a caring group of people who welcomed them, gave them a home, and encouraged them with music, and they Formed the Band Sinners of Seattle. But they were still broken, and Ethan suffered night terrors. The only thing that calmed them was Zeke soothing him with his closeness. He would climb in bed with him, stay until he settled, and leave before Ethan would wake. As the boys grow closer things evolve but, Ethan is in denial, and their connection is kept under wraps. Zeke looses himself is drugs and alcohol, while Ethan closes himself off. He becomes engaged to a woman he doesn’t love. Ethan and Zeke can hardly be in the same room. But after a life altering incident, they are once again in each other’s orbit. Ethan has so much baggage he must wade through. Both men are in therapy. Zeke is very clear on what he must do. Ethan has major Mother issues. These two men have much to work on. It will be the hardest journey of their lives. They must decide if what they have or want is worth the fight!
