Brooklyn Dreaming

Rate this book
Brooklyn is fresh out of high school and looking to get away from her past. What better way to do that than going to college out of state? The only things she planned on taking with her to the dirty south were her New York state of mind and her best friend, Anika.

While in North Carolina, Anika’s neck of the woods, life changes for both Brooklyn and Anika. When Brooklyn finds new love from a local d-boy named Knucks, she starts to pay attention to all of the negative qualities that her best friend, Anika, has always had.

Man-made problems arise, and it’s up to girls to keep their friendship on track. Drown yourself in this novella about two best friends that just can’t seem to get it right. Their loyalty to one another is constantly tested, and when it’s time to apologize, it just might be too late.

Brooookkkllllyyynnnn!

I really enjoyed reading this book, however, I'm still mad at the ending. That was not the closure I was seeking. Nonetheless this was still a good book!

Was it all a dream?

Hated the ending. How did it end so drastically? I get people don't grow together when it comes to friendships all the time but that was a bit much.
