Lost Kings MC #17

Lyrics on the Wind

Rate this book
USA Today bestselling author Autumn Jones Lake pushes the romance full-throttle in the latest installment of the Lost Kings MC series.
Feelings were a weakness I couldn’t afford.
Until the sassy waitress from Texas crept under my skin.
Then I fell and I fell hard.
Her touch has branded me to the bone.
With her, love has no boundaries.
I’ve always lived for danger.
But this time, the stakes are too high.
Her lyrics on the wind are calling my name.
No matter where this road takes me, my ruthless MC brothers have my back. Retribution will be swift and savage.

"My white knight who's always rescuing me..."

Lyrics on the Wind is the seventeenth book in the Lost Kings MC Series. Lyrics on the Wind picks up directly after Rhythm of the Road. Shelby is missing and Logan will fight to the death to get her back in his arms. With the help of his brothers, Rooster knows that Shelby is the love of his life and he cannot live without her. The road is full of twists and turns for Rooster and Shelby as they continue to work to overcome the odds stacked against them. With motorcycles, strippers, drama, country music, and the full LOKI family, Lyrics on the Wind packs a powerful punch with non-stop romance, passion, and witty fun!

description
"I want to love you. I'm so grateful to be here with you right now."
Told in dual POV, Lyrics on the Wind offers a complex love story of two people, from very different backgrounds, who come together and fall madly in love! Together they discover a passion as they have never experienced before. The tempo of the read is fast-paced as the action never stops! As Shelby's music career continues to thrive, so does her desire to be with Logan. Logan loves being on the road with Shelby but the struggle of balancing a high-profile romance and his work with the club proves to be a very delicate balancing act. In addition to the great dynamics between Logan and Shelby, I could not get enough of Jigsaw and the shenanigans all three experience together. As always, I could not turn the pages fast enough!
"Love's a damn disease."
Overall, Lyrics on the Wind will appeal to readers who enjoy country music and motorcycle men! The Lost Kings MC is a Series that I will never get tired of. With each addition to the series, the relationships between the club members become stronger and their loyalty and love for each other never waivers. Reading a LOKI book is like coming home and I for one cannot wait for more LOKI LOVE (and especially more Shelby and Logan)!

I wasn’t sure how this series would go expanding the world beyond the “Upstate” brothers. But it’s just getting better and better. Now we see the workings of the MC organisation as they ride across the country and see the intricacies of how failures and successes of other chapters have a flow on affect. And also how the club sticks together through thick and thin no matter how much distance separates them.

I still love Rooster. He’s an Alpha without arsehole tendencies. A man confident enough in himself to allow his partner to shine. Yep, there’s a cliffhanger but one thing I love about this authors couples is that they don’t do “misunderstandings”. They get through things together.

Can’t wait for the next book. Another one-click preorder done!!!

Autumn Jones Lake, you sneaky, sneaky author. Just when you think it's safe, right when you think she's going to tie things up in a perfect little bow, nope, PLOT TWIST!

I don't know how she does it, but Lyrics in the Wind is book 17 in the Lost Kings series, and I am as intrigued as I was at book 1. Rooster and Shelby's story has been taking us outside the MC world's lines but continues to provide drama and suspense that captivates. We still get bits and pieces of the other LOKI members but don't veer from the two people this story is centered around.

If you are new to LOKI, I promise you won't be disappointed jumping in and starting this series. If you are a life long LOKI lover, then I promise that the series continues to get better. As always, I'm ready for the next installment AJL, I can't get enough of this LOKI family.

Best to read series in order.
I have read previous books but have read them as they came out and when I started this I had no clue what was going in as it starts just after the heroine was kidnapped.
Lots of previous couples and characters appear and from other books by the author.

No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
They are together from the start, apart from her being kidnapped.
Stalker threat storyline.
I was a bit bored. It did pick up at the end but I felt that was because it's leading to the next book as it leads to a cliffhanger.

Other woman and man drama but neither Hero or heroine are interested.

Cliffhanger ending.

If you have read the series then I'm sure you will want to read this but it's not a reread for me.
In such a long series I think some books are bound to be better than others, some couples of more interest to readers too.

4 Rooster and Shelby Stars

This book is the 17th in the Lost Kings Series and the third of four specifically about Logan (Rooster) and Shelby. Their story began with Swagger and Sass then Rhythm of the Road and after this book it will all conclude in Diamond in the Dust which releases 20th April 2021. You will need to have read these books to follow Lyrics. It is not a standalone.

The story picks up straight from where Rhythm finished and it really did get off to a strong and punchy start. Ms Lake can write chilling and eerie very , very well. The story progresses and as the drama ebbs and flows through the book , Shelby and Rooster get closer and closer and soon their lives are meshing even more but along with Rooster, several other Lost Kings are playing big parts in keeping Shelby safe. I loved that we had lots of interaction between the different Charters. Upstate is represented largely by Wrath (& Trinity), Murphy (&Heidi), & Dex . These guys bring so much humour to the story which tempers the drama and balances things out well. It's like meeting up with old friends. Maybe it's because I have followed the series right from the start and it has played a big part in shaping the kind of romance books I gravitate to , but these characters when they are together , make my kindle heart so happy.

Wrath’s not finished busting on Murphy this morning.
“Do you have any idea how much Jack Daniels it takes to erase the vision of a Ginger Yeti violating the innocent little girl you’ve known since she was a toddler?”
“I’m not that innocent, Uncle Wrath!” Heidi shouts.
“We’re all aware, Heidi-girl.” Murphy punches his arm and Wrath laughs harder.

My heart is definitely with the Upstate guys. I think it's because that is where it all began and Rock and Hope and especially Wrath and Trinity are in my Top Couple's Hall of Fame. In this book, the LOKI women - Heidi and Trinity prove that they will always step up and protect each other and they class Shelby as one of their own, The three of them go on a shopping trip and Shelby is hesitant in case anyone approaches ,

“Don’t worry,” Heidi says. “We won’t let anyone bother you.”
Trinity pats her own cheeks and grins at me. “My fuck-off face is cocked and loaded.”

The writing is excellent as always but the middle of the book definitely felt like it was concentrating on the development of Rooster and Shelby's relationship and then it moves into LOKI dynamics between various chapters plus there is National involvement with Priest. (Wily fellow that he is....).

I could not write this review without mentioning one of my absolute favourite characters - Jigsaw. He is Rooster's best friend and one of the most loyal people ever. There is something very endearing about Jigsaw. Underneath all the toughness (and he is fierce when needed) there is a vulnerability and that is Kindle catnip to me. I loved his relationship with Shelby and how they tease each other.

“Your buddy’s watching over Shelby and her mom.”
I shoot a questioning eyebrow at him.
“The scary one who looks like he’s thinking about slicing and dicing my nuts off any time I get too close to Shelby,” he adds. I snort.
“That’s Jigsaw.”

This book ends on a cliffhanger that centres on Rooster but Jigsaw is undoubtedly caught up in it all too. I'm looking forward to Diamond In The Dust and seeing where Ms Jones Lake will take us next.

HEA? No , Cliffie ending but Rooster and Shelby are solid.
Cheating? No
Long read. Violent in places. Being held captive is featured.

2.5*

All in all this has been a good series but enough is enough. I’m tapping out, I’m done.

I enjoyed Swagger and Sass and I was looking forward to more Rooster and Shelby.

Rhythm of the Road was okay but dragged in places I found myself skimming through sections. Shelby is definitely not my favourite character by a long shot.
Anyway I was amazed to find after what seemed like loads of filler it ended on a cliffhanger. But since Lyrics on the Wind was out I moved straight onto that. I struggled with this as well. It was so slow in places and I was cursing the author for dragging it out over two books. It didn’t help that I still didn’t really like Shelby and again I found myself skimming just to get through it. But I stuck with it....
It’s now after 3am and I find it’s yet another cliffhanger.
I’m beyond annoyed. Honestly dragging it out over 2 books was crazy now there’s another. This series has obviously (for me anyway) run its course. I can’t believe I stuck with it so long. I should have quit after Z moved. But no I just had to keep going.
Should just have quit while I was ahead 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m so in love

Ms Lake could publish five hundred Lost Kings books and I’d be there to purchase every single one. The characters and storylines never get old or repetitive. Rooster and Shelby are no exception to that line of thinking. What a fantastic story!! Already preordered the next.

When you are on book number 17 in a series and you have to make it in parts I have a big problem with it. I kept on reading this series but honestly I am about done with this series. I was pretty much done when Z moved away from the original LOKI but I kept reading. I can not get involved with Rooster and Shelby. This couple just does not do it for me at all. I will finish this three book just because I had already pre ordered the last one. I really believe that there comes a time when a series just goes stale and for me this series has done exactly that. I had much rather go back to the beginning and read about Rock, Hope Wrath, Trinity, Murphy and Heidi & Teller & Charlotte but I am done with this series. It's time for her to move on because the latest books are just not as good as the first ones. I saw many 5 star reviews and to each their own but for me it's over.

Lyrics on the Wind is book 17 of the Lost Kings MC Series and Rooster's second full length novel with his girl Shelby. Their story is a little more anticlimactic this time around, but it's sweet and lets us get to know the characters better. It's more about Shelby and Rooster finding their rythm together, as well as navigating their relationship and lifestyle on the road. They kind of remind me of a younger Hope and Rock with their ups and downs and the drama they keep finding themselves in, and there was a lot of drama! I found their story to be a mix of TV shows SOA and Nashville with a sprinkle of the movie Hustlers.

Shelby lost her spark after everything she went through but her sass and fire came roaring back at full steam. She still has so many insecurities, especially with her relationships. Sometimes I find her whiney but then I remind myself how young she is. She's obviously been scarred by a lot of people throughout her life thus far.

Rooster is caring, supportive, intelligent, and strong. He's confident and knows how to take charge. But he's also really hard on himself and is still rather closed off when it comes to his past, he's an enigma. He and Jigsaw are both keeping some deep secrets.

Speaking of Jiggy, he really stole the show in this book. He is Roosters best friend and right hand man, but I also love the relationship that's blossomed between him and Shelby. He's really caring, sweet, and loyal even though he'd never admit it to the first two. He is also quite a puzzle himself, and I can't wait to find out more about him one day and which woman will bring him to his knees.

It was comforting to get some of the NY peeps in the story, but I def missed the rest of the upstate crew. There was a void in my heart, missing them. I understand that it can't always be about them and in Roosters trilogy we're meeting a slew of other LOKI members at these other charters. It's interesting to see how these other charters operate and how their dynamics are different then NY. But it is still heart breaking that we won't get so much of New York and I definitely missed my boo Rock.

And as always (well maybe not always, but many times) Autumn leaves us with an exciting cliff hanger. Just when things are really starting to get heated up and interesting, BAM, to be continued! I look forward to the next book and discovering more about Rooster and his mysterious past life and secrets.

**4.5 Stars**

Thank you Autumn Jones Lake for an advance copy!

Autumn Jones Lake is one hell of a story teller. Seventeen books into the Lost Kings MC series and she never ceases to amaze me. Her books are so wildly entertaining and sexy. I am 1000% addicted.

Rooster and Shelby's story continues in Lyrics on the Wind. I admit I had doubts. How can a rising country music star and an outlaw stay together? The paparazzi would be all over that. But leave it to AJL to address all my doubts through laughs, drama and sexy times.

Lyrics on the Wind ends on one of the best cliff hangers in the entire series. That ending hit me right in the feels. I gasped and then I burst out laughing. Drama, ya'll! We are getting some personal drama!!! Grab that popcorn, my friends, we are in for another wild ride in the conclusion (or is it?) with Diamond in the Dust.

Oh sheeze....That ending really sucks....oh well, doesn't matter because I have the next book...lol.

This is still part of Logan, Rooster and Shelby's story. Hopefully next book will be the last of theirs. Logan is going all out to make things better and more comfortable for Shelby. He's spoiling her but he doesn't need to because all she wants is him.

You know all those magazines at the check out counter at the grocery store.... well let's just say some one with an agenda is trying to make her and him look bad

Guess I'm going to go ahead and wrap up this review and get to the next book

I have to say Rooster is one of my favourite LoKi bikers. Not loving the much younger woman trope still which gets really old fast IMO though.
This is the second of the trilogy about Rooster and Shelby and we’ve had two or so books about Shelby with the next about Rooster’s past.
I’ve been idling with this series but am looking forward to the next book.

Rooster & Shelby & Jiggy, oh my!! It didn't take me long to fall back into Rooster & Shelby's world with some cameos of the LOKI men and women. With AJL's books I don't just read the words on the page, I hear the words from the characters that are speaking them and I see them like a movie in my mind. Being in a rehab for a shattered ankle I needed an escape in the worst way, and Lyrics delivered. I honestly forgot where I was the whole time I was immersed in this wonderful story. There is excitement and humor and things that will make you shudder (in a good and bad way), but most of all, I love the characters and all their different personalities. Some I love, some I like and some I wish were in front of me so I could have strangled them!! I wish the book had not ended, so I could read it the whole time I'm here. But all good things must come to an end, and I look forward to hanging out with Rooster, Shelby & everyone else again. Hopefully some time soon!! I can't recommend Autumn's books enough, and this latest story is no exception. I love them all!! Enjoy!!

Just finished ‘Lyrics on the wind’ from Autumn Jones Lake and I love, love, love it.
Lyrics on the wind is the secend book about Rooster and Shelby.

I love the chemistry between Rooster and Shelby, they always support each other in their choices. The friendship between Rooster and Jiggy is great, they are true friends.

The book is written from both Rooster’s and Shelby’s perspective. This makes you really feel like you are in their world. The other LOKI members also appear in this book, they show that LOKI is a real family. It’s nice to know what the rest of the LOKI family is up to.

And then the end OMG!! Can’t wait for the next book.

Five well-deserved stars for 'Lyrics on the wind'.

Autumn you rock, I love all your books, I hope many more will follow.

For english readers, go read these books they are great

The couple: Rooster (Logan) and Shelby

Romance trope: MC
Series: Lost Kings series MC
Length: 510 pages

Plot: This is book 2.5 for Shelby and Rooster (we first met them in Swagger and Sass and then their story continued in their first full-length book, Rhythm of the Road). At the end of Rhythm of the Road, Shelby had been abducted by a crazed fan. That's where this book starts.
Thankfully, Rooster and his MC brothers are able to find her fairly quickly. Shelby's able to return to her tour (although not right away - she is left shaken by what happened to her). Rooster smooths the way for her whenever possible, helping out with security, running interference (especially with her mom!), buying an RV so they can travel together...he's essentially the perfect man. Seriously. Much of the book is spent on the road, but then the action comes to a head at the very end when we run into Rooster's ex, Ashley, whom Shelby assumes is the one that Jiggy cheated with (but she was an ex!) - although it isn't confirmed that it is that particular ex.

Commentary: We know a lot about Shelby's background from the previous book, but this book gave us more insight into Rooster (and by proxy, Jigsaw). We now know that there is a mystery woman in his past, Ashley (who then shows up at the very end of this book); we know that something has happened to Jiggy that left physical scars; we know that they came from the Northwest of the US, and at least Rooster has bad memories of the place. We also see Shelby learning more about Rooster's MC life, and how the trust between them will work (and she also has Trinity to give her some advice about that, which is nice, considering nobody really did that for Trinity). She also has to come to terms with Rooster's need to take care of her in every way possible, when she's not the kind of person who normally accepts help from others.

Miscellaneous:

*There's a point when Shelby questions what the guys would be doing if the girls weren't there with them, and Heidi basically tells her "Don't date him if you can't trust him," and that is absolutely rich coming from Haidi, who spent so much of her relationship with Murphy being jealous and insecure. She could have been a little nicer and more understanding, considering that Rooster and Shelby are in a new relationship and Shelby's new to the MC world and she's just gone through a trauma.
*Lynn, you just can't stop!
*It is strange that Rooster's never talked about his family. Seems like that's something that would have come up sooner.
*Too bad Glenna hasn't been arrested yet.

Previous book in the series: Rhythm of the Road
Next book in the series: Diamond in the Dust)

I always look forward to an Autumn Jones Lake story, and I've been anticipating this one not so patiently! I love Rooster and Shelby - they're now my favorite couple! I feel like I know Shelby, and this book was a chance to get to know Rooster in the same way. In Rhythm of the Road, we got a lot of his internal dialogue, but in this book, we got more - deeper into his past - so that we could fall even more in love with him. Rooster and Shelby have a beautiful relationship that allows them to trust and communicate with each other, but it also allows them to grow and learn in order to become better people both apart and together.

This was a rollicking ride as all of the books in this series are. Book 3 picks up exactly where book 2 ends, but no time is wasted. The story moves and we Shelby and Rooster grow as people, as a couple and in their chosen professions. It's exciting to see because it's so easy to be vested in these characters. You want them to work things out and no one is silly about it. Honest, earned is a pleasure to read, especially the way Autumn Jones Lake writes it. Even the adult/grown ups who's life challenges made them bitter managed to grow their hearts a few sizes.

We get to catch up to a few favorite characters from earlier books. Heidi has grown and matured a lot in this series, but peeking in on her and Trinity's solid Sisterhood was a treat I didn't realize I needed to see. Trinity is one of my favorite characters and I love that she's a truly generous soul.

Reading this series is like checking in on your close friends/family. You miss them (after gobbling up the book and knowing that you have to wait a few months for the next one) but you are reminded why you love them.

Alpha Hero- Check. Strong/Smart Female Lead- Check Great story told well? Check& Check! This is the 3rd book in a tetralogy. And this tetralogy is towards the end of a 30 book series- Yes I've already pre-ordered the next two books in the series, Diamonds in the Dust looks like the conclusion to this story. This one looks like it's going to give us some of Rooster and Jiggy's backstory and I love Back-story. The first 3 books do a great job of telling us how things were for Shelby and her Mama when she meets Rooster. We see where they've been and how it's shaped them but this new one will tell us where Rooster and Jiggy started.

It's a worthy read and I highly recommend it.

I have loved all these books in this series but let me tell you Shelby resonates with me out of all the women. She is so sweet and down to earth, no game playing she's the real deal. I liked the glimpses of Logan (Rooster) I got in the other books and he is perfect for Shelby he just gets her. He makes her feel loved and wanted. I can't get enough of any of them and I hope we get to see more or Rooster and Shelby as her career takes off. I have to say I really like Rock and Z as much as I hated seeing him leave the upstate Chapter with us still getting to see them through out makes it easier to like the fact he got his own Chapter. And he chose well making Rooster his VP. In my opinion the other Prez and his wife can keep on fading in the woodwork. See I can't even remember their names.

The seventeenth title in the Lost Kings MC series, continues Rooster and Shelby’s story that began in Rhythm on the Road. This title is packed full of suspense, drama, action, intrigue and emotion and the heat between Rooster and Shelby continues to grow.
After the conclusion to Rhythm of the Road, I was incredibly eager to dive into Lyrics in the wind and wasn’t disappointed by the continuation of their tale. This pair complement each other perfectly and I loved seeing their relationship and connection continue to grow and develop. I particularly enjoyed the Shelbyisms that come out throughout this title and are completely unique and fun.
If you’re looking for an MC series that has equal parts heat, heart and humour look no further than the Lost Kings MC. I love the sense of loyalty, brotherhood and family that flows throughout this series and loved the cameos from several Lost Kings favourites and their ladies who appear throughout this title.
I will be eagerly awaiting the release of Diamond in the Dust and can’t wait to find out what secrets Autumn Jones Lake has in store for her readers.

Autumn Jones Lake I have called you ‘Our Queen’ in the past and now I bow to you. When it comes to writing about an MC, and in particular LOKI, your brilliance knows no bounds. Shelby and Rooster are a great coupling and we have been given a story full of love, passion, some drama but most importantly lots of wonderful and hilarious moments with our LOKI family. The interactions between them all were my highlights. Love Rooster and his alpha and caring nature and I love Shelby with her grit and determination but also her vulnerability. Some of our favourites from previous books were included in this and I was thrilled to see how they have all become one family even though are from different charters. The characters are real and your knowledge of MC life is outstanding. I thrived on each word I read and I did not want this book to end. At the end it was like saying goodbye to friends that are a part of my family and I did not want to let them go. Cannot wait for the next book to continue this journey. Keep writing and I will forever keep reading. Thank you for bringing this family to life and for sharing your gift of writing with your fans. Worthy of more than the 5 stars. Highly recommend this series.

Towards the end of this book I realized there were way too many things hanging out there and not enough pages left in the book to get things all wrapped up. I found this frustrating, BUT not for the reasons you think. You see, I am elated to get more of Rooster and Shelby. I just love these two and their story, I will take as many books as I can get that revolve around them. So why am I frustrated you ask, well to put it simply, I am the most impatient person I know. I want that book now, but good things come to those who wait.

The way Shelby and Rooster love each other truly warms my heart and reiterates why I love MC books and alpha males. He will protect her til his last breath and I just can't get enough of that. While many things were wrapped up from book 1 (including answers to the giant cliffhanger), book 2 opened several other story lines that I am excited to explore. Not only do Shelby and Rooster leave you wanting more but Jiggy does as well. In fact I have my fingers crossed Jiggy gets his own story very soon as well.

This one was absolutely everything and then some that I had hoped it would be!

Autumn, you truly did it again!!! Another fabulous book!!

I love, love Rooster and Shelby's story. The beginning of this book really had me so nervous about Shelby's life. There were so many twists and, turns it really kept me on an emotional roller coaster. When Rooster does get to Shelby he helps her in so many ways you know she's his true love.

I also love the banter between Rooster, Jiggy and Shelby. The book also had me laughing throughout it. It really does help with all that has gone on through the past year. Autumn has written another great book. I'm excited that she will be a writing more fabulous books about the characters in this book.

I love how protective Rooster is of Shelby. I'm sure there will be more excitement in the characters lives in the coming book Diamonds in the Dust. I highly recommend this book. I wish I could have given it 10 stars. This series is my favorite Motorcycle club series and I have read every book more than once.

Wowsers!!! First of all that cover is HOT and I almost didn't even want to start reading the book, just wanted to stare at him for a while, but of course I had to get reading because that cliffie at the end of book 16 had me going crazy!
Lyrics on the Wind gave me a whole lotta more anxiety and a whole lotta more sexy times between Rooster and his songbird. The level of crazy (and insanity) in this book took things to a whole new level though. There were a few scenes that made me laugh so hard (sex toys can be hilarious) and some others that had me holding my breath to see what was going to happen. I don't think I even blinked once during the entire first chapter (get your motor running) and the action throughout the rest of the book seemed to be non-stop with a few sections of comic relief thrown in (because good grief that was intense)! Overall I loved this latest music/biker fusion story from one of my favorite MC authors...but dang, the Queen of suspense is back at it again and I can't possibly hold my breath until the (hopefully) final book.

LORD HAVE MERCY!! 🔥🔥🔥

Lord have Mercy!!

I've been reading Autumn Jones Lake for a few years now, and one thing I can say is that she definitely knows how to do a PLOT TWIST! And, I'm like an addict wanting more and more!

Lyrics on the Wind does not disappoint. Rooster and Shelby have become one of my favorite couples. I love how strong Shelby is, even in times where she doesn't feel strong. And, let's not leave Rooster behind. His fierce love and devotion for Shelby is fire without being overbearing and suffocating. I don't get tired of reading how strong Autumn writes every one of her characters.

This book is full of drama, suspense, twist and turns. Lord have mercy!! I especially love all the new characters Autumn has introduced us too. Along, with catching up with our favorite LOKI guys...swoon!!!

I cannot wait to see where Autumn takes us as she concludes Rooster & Shelby's epic love story!! But, I know it won't be the last that we hear from them!!

What do women want? They want a Rooster in their lives, that’s what they want.

Wow. Hot damn and holy $#!+! I know I say this every instalment but Autumn Jones Lake does it again. She delivers. Every. Damn. Time. And each book is better than the last. That’s some mean feat of literary genius. This series, no this author, is worth reading every single book.

The storyline just keeps twisting and turning and just when you think you know where it’s going she throws in another tangent, ramping up the intrigue, and keeping you guessing.

As always, AJL’s particular brand of love scenes are next level, hot af. And I have always loved the author’s way of weaving just a dash of socio-political comment into her stories.

I’d give this one six stars if I could.

Loved it.

CANNOT WAIT UNTIL DIAMOND IN THE DUST.
Pre-ordered obviously.

Lyrics on the wind is the 17th book in the Lost Kings MC world and I never tire of reading the books in this series. Autumn has written a series where you want to be a part of the LOKI family.

This picks up where swagger and sass left off, It's Roosters and Shelby's story. Rooster is an alpha male but is 100% behind his woman's career and is happy to take a back seat in order for Shelby to shine. This couple have come from completely two different backgrounds yet their passion and loyalty to each other makes this work. What I love about these books is that we still get to see other members of LOKI feature in these stories while the focus is still on the characters that the book is centred on.

This is one of my fave all time MC series and as long as Autumn keeps writing them I will keep buying them.

Oh Autumn. How does this series keep getting better and better? I loved the Hollywood Demons mixing rock/ Hollywood and MC life.
Here we are again. The music world and MC world. And traveling within both.
Love love love Rooster and his Chickadee. The banter of Rooster and Jigsaw. Trinity’s fierceness for the club and anyone she sees as important to the club.
The seediness of the entertainment industry that we’ve seen since Chaser and Mallory’s story.
The seediness that can be part of the MC world. Not all of LOKI is as stellar as New York New York.

And now we have a part 3 to look forward to and get to the bottom of Rooster’s story. And that comment he made early on, “I’m nobody’s hero”.

Already counting the days. Thanks, Autumn. Loved the after notes and hints of what might be coming and who might star in later stories. May you write this series for another 💯 years!!

Another Lost Kings hit!!

Once again, Autumn has written a fantastic story-another chapter in the world of Rooster and Shelby. It was great to have some of the upstate charter be a part of this story, and I love the way Trinity and Heidi take Shelby under their wing. This book just sucks you in and keeps your attention. Even the ‘minor’ characters are well developed, and you find yourself wondering about their life and backstory. Though we don’t know the conclusion of what happens with Rooster and Shelby, the wait will be worth it. Thank you Autumn for giving us another glimpse of the Lost Kings. Rock has always been my favorite, but Rooster is running a close second. Bravo!!

Cock......a

17 books into this series and you wonder how she can top the last book......... She being the talented author who has written characters that have left lasting imprints on my heart and soul. Rooster is the alpha male that you dream and fantasize about. Swoon worthy and panty melting he is! Shelby is an upcoming beautiful songbird who owns Rooster's heart (some of his brothers joke she has his balls in a jar). They have a strong love and trust each other. The ending here has Rooster's past biting his ass. Will they survive......I certainly hope so but am waiting patiently for the next book. I am so ready for a full reread of this series!!!!
