Carlton Smith had everything a man his age could looks, money, women falling at his feet. When he meets Violet, a younger, more innocent woman than he's accustomed to, he can't believe his bad luck. She's everything he needs and nothing he's supposed to have. Smart, sexy, and sassy, Violet is also his friend Harry's only daughter.
Redemption can be read as a standalone but is best served after having read Impulse, the first book of The Conquest Series. There will be steamy sex scenes, daddy kink, bling where the sun don't shine, and--most importantly--love.
"Jealous, baby girl? Wish you were in my bed instead of them?" He smirked at her slightly, and she returned a small frown.
"In your dreams, lover boy," she threw back at him. "I have no wish to be in your bed at any time in the near—or far-off—future. I've never been one to want what everyone else could attain so easily."
That knocked the smirk right off Carlton's face, and he took a predatory step toward the woman. He lowered his voice further as he stated, "You'll be eating those words when I have my head buried between your legs and licking your p***y until you scream yourself hoarse as you come."
Violet blinked twice at him, trying not to show her shock at his filthy words.
"Keep dreaming," she retorted when she was finally able to gather her wits about her.
"Oh, I have been, and I will," he said softly, a furious glint in his eye.
That threw Violet off her game, and she walked past him briskly, heading toward the bathroom he had come out of just a few moments before.
Carlton strode back to the rest of the party, thinking he had won a small but important victory over the girl in the end.
R.K. Knightly is a pen name for a civil servant based in the San Francisco-Bay area. Born in New Jersey, she moved to California in 2007 with her husband, a San Francisco native. First interested in poetry from a young age, she wrote her first short story in second grade. It was a little mystery/thriller she drew the pictures for. Her teacher, Mrs. Michaels, told her mother that she should think about writing as a career, though she should probably look into hiring an illustrator for the art work. Ms. Knightly took journalism classes throughout high school and creative writing courses in college. A lover of all genres of books from autobiographies to sci-fi, Ms. Knightly started writing erotic romance in early 2018. After a few months and two books, she came up with an idea for an erotic supernatural romance which has become popular on the Dreame app. Now she splits her time between the two genres, though her most popular works on Dreame are her supernatural novels. In her spare time outside of writing, Ms. Knightly spends times with her fabulous extended family.
