He wants a marriage of convenience. She wants a new start. Only one will get their wish.

Westley Pyne has been disappointed before—twice. He won’t fall for love again. This time he offers a contractual marriage to his best friend’s sister. He wants a bride who will improve his business prospects without promising the empty words of love, honor, or cherish. Although he’s attracted to Cassandra, he quickly tamps down his budding feelings for the sake of his heart.

Cassandra Abbott spent the last decade taking care of her aging parents. After their deaths, she visits a brother who settled in the West. Although sparks fly between her and Westley, he pushes her away. Cassandra learns it’s easy to become independent in the Wyoming territory and just as easy to be deceived. She must unravel Westley’s secrets about the betrayal to have a chance at a happy marriage.

Can both learn to forgive, or will they hold on to their fears and lose their chance at a forever love?

I have really enjoyed the books in this series. I love how in each of the books in this series there is an angel helping guide the characters. I like how in this one Westley is the only one who can see the angel and is some times a bit hesitant to listen to him. I like how as Westley and Cassandra get to know each other, Westley realizes that his past failed romances weren’t really love. I also love how he has to learn to open his heart and to really show Cassandra that he loves her after she finds out about Westley and Cassandra’s brother’s original plan. I thought this was a good book and I’m looking forward to reading more.

I received a complimentary book from publishers, publicists, and or authors.  A review was not required and all opinions and ideas expressed are my own.

This story deals with great emotions between the characters. I am moved by the strong characteristic of Cassandra who thinks with her head and strongly believes that she will have a new start in Wyoming. Cassandra was headed to meet her brother after riding the train but instead of showing up, she met a handsome stranger named Westley. Westley was going to fetch his cows when he met a beautiful woman who seem to be new in town and assisted her towards her brother's home. Westley knew that marriage of love will not happen due to his past experiences with women and decided to court Cassandra. Later on, his feelings towards Cassandra grew more and soon he realized that love is worth the risk again. The book greatly showed the emotions of the characters and how they became a strong person despite of the circumstances they have encountered. I loved how Westley redeem himself again by apologizing to Cassandra and I am so glad that Cassandra whole heartedly believed him again. Happiness really shows on one's face whenever you are in love with the person and reading this story made me happy knowing that sometimes there are plans that might derail you from what you intend to do but know that God has a purpose just believe in His plans for he will never fail you. The epilogue was well-written and I adore how they had a child and Cassy's father as an angel made an appearance again which made it a HEA ending where his father continues to watch over Westley's family.

Top two favorite things about this book. LOVED the angel helping Westley along in order to help Cassandra. It was a fun twist and cute the way it is written. And my other favorite thing is that Cassandra was so strong and fearless. She was willing to stand up to the men that would otherwise take advantage and abuse her in one way or another. At first I kept wondering how in the world she was going to manage her land by herself when she knew little about anything. By the end, I knew she was strong enough to take it on, learn and achieve what needed to be done.

I haven't read the others in this series but I think it would be fun to do so. This was an enjoyable read. I confess there was more than one part of the book that made me tear up. I think they all took place when the angel was present. It was touching element of the story.

Sex: no
Language: no
Violence: a lynching, some mistreatment and fisticuffs

After her parents died, Cassandra decides to go to Wyoming to live with her brother. Once she arrives, she is upset over the fact that he is not at the rail station to meet her. She walks through town looking for him and stops in the land office to see just exactly where he lives. She is shown a map and then asked if she would like to stake a claim. She decides to stake her claim on the property that adjoins his.
Once she arrives at his ranch, she realizes that he has mailed her a letter that she did not receive before she left nor did he receive the telegram that announced her arrival date. She finally receives the letter and is totally caught off-guard by the wording. Her whole life is turned upside-down.

Westleys Mistakes and Miscues

If ever there were two people caught in situational mistakes Westley and Cassandra take the cake. A mail order bride of convenience that her brother decided to give to his friend and business partner. A woman deciding to go visit her brother to start a new life. The lost letter explaining why her brother wanted her to come.
Then the surprised Westley that actually is falling in love. This wonderful story is filled with drama, laughs and love. You will be drawn into the story and read about old friends from previous books. A must read.

His Guarded Heart

This was a good story. Darrell and Wesley had properties next to each other. Sugar Creek flowed on the property next to Darrells. He wanted his sister to claim that property and he and his friend would build a stock yard on it. Cassandra boarded a train after her father died and headed to Colorado to visit her brother. When she arrived, she waited on her brother to meet the train, but he never showed up. Wesley was in town and offered to take her to her brother. Great story, read to see if she gets her happy ever after.

This is such a wonderful, moving
& intriguing romance.
I truly enjoyed reading it!
Cassandra, spend many years
caring for her ailing parents.
Her brother offered her a place
with him in Wyoming.
Westley, is a rancher. Working hard
everyday building his ranch & stock.
He is immediately enchanted by
Cassandra. After she receives something
that had been forwarded from St. Louis,
everything changed.
I loved it for the first page to the last!!

I enjoyed this 3rd book in the Cowboys and Angels Beginnings series. Cassandra is a strong women, she comes to the Wild West of Wyoming, to live with her brother. Little did she know, her brother had different plans. Wesley wanted a marriage of convenience. The story is light and fun, but also a lesson in what happens when you don’t tell the truth. The characters are well defined and engaging. It is a clean, sweet western romance. A stand-alone story Looking forward to book 4.

Fantastic characters that I just feel in love with! This was a absolutely wonderful story that had me caught up from the beginning. I laughed and wanted to cry throughout this story, the angel was so amazing how he was wrote into the story. Cassandra had so much spunk and I greatly admired her, she had a beautiful heart. The romance was a clean sweet romance that had my heart near to bursting. This is just all around a fabulous story that I hated to end.

I enjoyed how a young lady who once was a caregiver for her parents, makes the decision to move to Wyoming to be by her brother, unbeknownst to her, she meets Mr Pyne at the train station, makes an impulsive buy of land and then begins the journey of love, forgiveness, strength, and establishing roots in a new place with fun, laughs, and a future! The angel is a bonus! Can't wait to read the others in this series! Job well done! Clean, christian romance!

Another captivating story by Jo Noelle! This one pulled me right in. It was a wonderful page turner! I loved the appearances of the angel throughout the story. Westley and Cassandra’s story is a tender, sweet story with some ups and downs.
I received an advance copy of this book from the author, however, I voluntarily wrote an honest review. All opinions are strictly my own.

Darrell and Westley really didn’t think their proposal/proposition to Cassandra through and then they failed to confess soon enough. Cassandra is a lot stronger than they gave her credit. I have loved all the Angels and I think this one has a special interest in the outcome. I always expect the best from Jo Noelle and this book meets that expectation.

Westley wanted a wife of convenience only he received so much more when his friend's sister Cassandra agreed to be his wife. He thought he was in love twice before but it did not work out so now he is leaving his heart out of the situation but his heart has other ideas and with the help of the "angel" he finds what his heart has been seeking. Great inspirational story.

Sweet

So very sweet and tender and I really enjoyed this book. The series is nice fun and quick to read so many times I could have used an angel like it is in the story but I am glad for the hope of an angel in the story of life. This story brought me tender tears as I felt the emotion of the sweet love. Great job!

This book literally starts out with lightening and it just takes off from there. A healing and heartwarming romance in the old west. An almost mail-order story, but better. I can’t wait for the next book! Book gifted to me.

Wonderful Story.

Westley and Cassandra met and fell in love, but he didn't know it, he thought he wouldn't never call in Love again. Between the Angel and himself, they did fall in Love. But things went crazy and they split, for awhile. Very good story, Thank You, Jo Noelle.

This book was a delight to read. The continuity and flow were easy to follow. I enjoyed the fact that the Angel was her father helping with her happiness in return for her love and sacrifice for her family.

Fun read

Great book. Darrell and Westley get the cart before the horse. As they say. Enter Cassy, Darrell's sister and you have a lot of misunderstandings. As always it's the man's fault. Hahaha.

I recommend this book,

An absolutely enjoyable wild rest romance read! Westley has been spurred by love in the past. He agrees to take on a mail order bride but not for love. Cassandra wants a life of her own after caring for others in her life. You won't want to put this book down!
