It is an interesting and helpful book for anyone that is interested in learning more about the vagal nerve and it's relation to health and mental wellness. It is a excellent text, but it is more academic than casual. I was able to learn and apply some of the points and items into my life and my teaching (as a yoga teacher)

Had good basics on yoga and stress relief tied to them, but also lots of pseudo science. Since it's an audio book I'm not sure how to check if they had references but they did claim that mercury in vaccines was linked to autism which is just false and what ruined any motivation to finish this book, even with only an hour left of audio. I practice yoga so the relaxation and breathing mentioned wasn't new, but it seemed like this was thrown together to get a book length, which makes sense since it was on sale on audible if not free.
