I’m sorry, Anna, I really am. 😞 I love you, and your THROAM series is an absolutely brilliant piece of writing that will always have a special place in my heart. Or rather, the special place. Ah, don’t even get me started on that, because I will gush.

This, however… So different, in both quality and content! Quality-wise, it's so-so. Then again, this was written two years earlier, apparently before Anna really evolved as a writer. But who am I to judge someone’s first creative steps? I won’t do that. For a fanfic, I’d say it’s ‘okay.’ Compared to THROAM? Night and day. That’s her final form, man. Congrats for growing so much, Anna! ❤️

Now, content. Spoiled, unlikable brats getting away with their bullshit. 🙄 I guess that after reading the blurb I kind of expected it, but I was getting Elite flashbacks, and not enjoying the experience. I confess to binge-watching the two first seasons a couple of years ago (don’t ask me how or why…), but I feel too old for that right now. It’s really not my vibe.

Putting it down for now, will watch out for my friends’ reviews and maybe give it another chance if they enjoy it.

i found the characters hard to relate to (well duh, they’re all rich, pretentious snobs) and i also had a hard time connecting with them.
there’s no real plot and this story seems like a drag at times because of it.
i don’t really see myself re-reading this book ever.
