3-1/2 stars, rounding up. I probably wasn’t quite the right target audience for this collection.
Billionaire Boss
This book is well-written, and it has the bones to be a really good story. I particularly liked way the author highlights the age difference between our leading couple. But, I had a pretty rocky go of it with the actual relationship between them. I have to admit, I’m with Sarah Jo on this. I didn’t much like Brent and his constant waffling. And while I loved the moments where Cat stood up for herself and told Brent exactly what he could do with his wishy-washy attitude, I got so frustrated every time she caved and took him back. I enjoyed the humor in the book, and since it looks like Sarah Jo is next up in queue I’m very much looking forward to her book.
Date Your Brother's Best Friend
Oh my gosh! I had so much fun with this book. I’d started to fall in love with Sarah Jo’s sassy, no-nonsense style in the previous book, and here we get to see the nitty gritty of how (and why) she developed it. It was so easy for me to connect with her over her people-pleasing tendencies and catering to narcissists. Luke is just the sweetest thing ever. I think at one point she accuses him of being a Hallmark hero, but I thought he was even better. The one thing I would have really liked to see that I didn’t get, was an “a-hah!” moment with her family. Their dysfunctional dynamic was such a large part of the story, I wanted to see more of the resolution than we get to.
Falling for my Enemy
This one didn’t sweep me away like it wanted it to. There’s lots of snarky humor and their witty banter was loads of fun to read. There’s even plenty of chemistry between Maggie and Jeremiah. I can’t really blame her. I mean, Jeremiah was a pretty spectacular book boyfriend. I wasn’t nearly as Impressed with Maggie though. I thought she was selfish and hypocritical in what she wanted Jeremiah to do and how she expected him to accomplish it. I only got more frustrated with her when she refused to comprehend all the reasons why that wouldn’t work. The ending kind came out of nowhere for me – probably because I was still giving Maggie such a hateful side-eye.
Forbidden Crush
I love that we get to see Ryan redeemed. From all the things Sarah Jo said, I knew there had to be something more than the narcissistic alcoholic we’d been shown in that previous book. I really liked the guy we get to see here. Unfortunately, Macy left me as frustrated as Maggie did, and for most of the same reasons. I thought she was selfish, and way too concerned with other peoples’ opinions. Having alcoholics in my own personal history, I “get” Ryan. I understand the changes he’s making in his life and the amends he’s trying to make. And as a recovering people-pleaser, I can sympathise with Macy’s desire for other people to see her in the best light. But, to sacrifice her own happiness because other people ‘might’ be disappointed aggravated me beyond all measure. And I thought their happy ever after comes too quickly without the necessary changes in the people who really needed to grow up, like Macy.
Damaged
I wanted to love this book so much more. With a retired military hero working to straighten out his life, I thought I was going to be looking at romance gold. And in the form of Tyler, I was. He’s noble and courageous and haunted, and he’s doing everything in his power to be there for the people that mean the most to him. Layla angered me so much. To the point that I thought Tyler deserved a better heroine. I understand her reservations over the potential conflict of interest and legalities of her profession. But that wasn’t even the cause of the lion’s share of the roadblocks she throws up. Instead it’s all about her mother’s mistakes and bad attitude, and then she refuses to tell him anything meaningful. I liked the cute ending they get, but I still think Tyler deserved a much better leading lady.
Found You Again
Chris is the sweetest, most compassionate hero I’ve read in this whole series. And Emilia’s self-centeredness might just take the cake from all the other heroines in this series that made me want to rip my hair out by the roots. The thing that I really appreciated and that redeemed it in my eyes is the amount of time spent slowly putting this pair back together again and rebuilding trust.

This Collection of Forbidden Romance Stories contains:
1. BILLIONAIRE BOSS
For the most part, this scenario is familiar. Billionaire older man as a boss, younger woman, instant chemistry. The beginning of the book was terrific and continued in that direction until almost the middle of the book and Brent, the hero of this story, became a HUGE disappointment to me when he decided to show his lack of backbone. It did however let Cat shine as the true heroine For the most part, I truly enjoyed the story.

2. DATE YOUR BROTHER'S BEST FRIEND
Sarah had been in grad school for architectural landscaping and botany when she received word her father had a heart attack. She drops everything to go home and help take care of him since it's just her two brothers, their father, and her left after losing their mother. What she doesn't expect is to have everything fall on her shoulders while dad doesn't appreciate anything she does for him and only wants her older brother. And the brother? Oh, he's a real prince!! A self-centered jerk who only wants to whine about his divorce and drink. Even his lumber yard business is not doing well. It seems like the only person she can actually talk to is Luke, her brother's best friend that she dated in high school. Yep, you guessed it, even that causes problems. The character's personalities are relatable, the story flows, and the chemistry is palpable. This was an entertaining read.

3. FALLING FOR MY ENEMY
Having grown up in a small town where the entire community is dependent on a business that keeps things going is completely relatable to me. Maggie owns the daycare, her parents own the B&B, her friends and family are dependent on the chicken factory in town. When rumors run rampant that the company is sending someone to check on the plant and give his evaluation. She's mad and intends to fight this loudly every step of the way. She runs on emotions. Jeremiah is a numbers guy but hates this part of his job. He doesn't want to put people out of work but facts are facts and he will follow the logical path of what needs to be done. As fate would have it when he gets to town he checks into the B&B. This story gives a great interpretation of today's happenings so it made relating to both the storyline and the characters so easy. I think this was probably the best one of the series so far.

4. FORBIDDEN CRUSH
5. DAMAGED
6. FOUND YOU AGAIN

I've given individual reviews for the first three books in this collection. All are a forbidden love for one reason or another with all the drama, angst, secrets, and passion that comes with a Natasha L. Black storyline. I'm sure by now you'll want to read the last three stories for yourself and get every titillating word for yourself.

With six forbidden romance books in this box set you can't really go wrong, here are my thoughts/opionions on a few of them:
Billionaire Boss - Caitlin (Cat) has wanted Brent, even before she met him, but now she is working in HR at his company, and boy is she tempted by him. Brent feels the electricity between them, on their first handshake, and he knows he needs to resist it, for it could not be great for his business. Cat can't stop thinking about how attractive Brent is to her, and she is certainly sassy to him. Brent sometimes frustrated me (with some of the things he does), but he was still easy to like. Cat was easy to love, she can stand up for herself, even though she is quite young.
Date Your Brother’s Best Friend - Sarah Jo decided to help her Father run his lumberyard, when he falls sick (he had a heart attack), but her Dad isn't making it easy, because he wanted Ryan (her brother) to take over the lumberyard. Her brother is a bit selfish and already has work of his own at the Bank, and has worries of his own, so Sarah Jo is left to do the majority of the work. Luke has been Ryan's best friend for years, and he secretly still wants Sarah Jo. Luke doesn't like how her brother and Father tend to take advantage of Sarah Jo's good nature. Will they risk getting closer while she is back home? Is Sarah Jo worth the risk of losing his friend? I enjoyed the bumpy ride of Sarah Jo and Luke's romance, where a hot fireman just might get a second chance.
Falling for my Enemy - Maggie loves her town, and she has heard rumors of a man coming into her town and assessing whether they should shut down the factory that basically supports most of the town. She naturally wants to hate the man, but when she meets the sexy Jeremiah, she knows she is in trouble. Can she convince him to help keep the factory open? Or will she be heartbroken? Jeremiah can't resist trying to charm Maggie, but will he just be passing through or something more permanent for her? I loved Jeremiah, who doesn't hide who he is, but Maggie can be a bit unrealistic at times (although she is easy to like).
I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received, and giving my thoughts and opinions on it.

I have previously read and reviewed the books in this collection, I really enjoyed each one. All standalone stories, no cliffhangers.

Billionaire Boss
This is a wonderful well-written older man/younger woman secret baby romance. The storyline is fast-paced and well thought out, it kept my attention throughout the story. I really liked the characters, Cat was strong and level headed and Brent was not expecting a woman like her to enter is life and it threw him for a loop. Wonderful story!

Date Your Brothers Best Friend
I really enjoyed this forbidden brothers best friend romance, the storyline was interesting and well-written, there was plenty of drama and emotion throughout the story. I really liked both Luke and Sarah Jo, both are strong and independent, incredibly likable characters however Sarah Jo's brother and father were quite distasteful. Overall a wonderful story.

Falling for my Enemy
This is the third book in the Forbidden Lovers series, it can be read as a standalone story....
A wonderful well-written enemies to lovers romance, the storyline is interesting and filled with plenty of drama and emotion. The characters are incredibly likable and they have plenty of sizzling chemistry.

Forbidden Crush
This is another wonderful story by Natasha L Black, it's well-written with a entertaining emotional storyline. The story flowed smoothly, gripped me from the beginning and the characters are incredibly likable, flawed yet likable. Loved it!

Damaged
This is the 5th book in the Forbidden Lovers series, it can be read as a standalone story.
This story pulled me in from the beginning and kept my interest throughout. I'm a sucker for a good forbidden romance and this book didn't disappoint. The storyline was well-written and fast-paced, Tyler and Layla have some pretty sizzling chemistry between them.

Found You Again
I really enjoyed this second chance/secret baby romance, was well written with a sweet emotional storyline. Both Chris and Emilia are likable characters, I loved how Chris reacted to the news about little Hope.

Each of these books in this box-set can be read as a stand-alone. Billionaire Boss is Brent and Cat's story. When the chemistry between them ignites she finds herself transferred out of the country, but will the physical distance overcome their emotional closeness especially with the secret she carries? Date Your Brother’s Best Friend is Sarah Jo and Luke's story. Luke was her first love until they ended her relationship because of her brother. Will these two get a second chance at love after there time apart. Falling for my Enemy is Jeremiah and Maggie's story. Jeremiah is in town to determine one of the business’s viability and everyone is determined to impress him except for Maggie. The chemistry between them ignites but will his career threaten the future they could have together? Forbidden Crush is Ryan and Macy's book. Ryan is now back in Macy's life and the chemistry between them ignites but she has a choice to make regarding her love for Ryan and her loyalty to her family. Damaged is Tyler and Layla's book. Layla is a psychologist who has created a group for people who need it the most and she meets Tyler when she is trying to promote her group. The attraction and chemistry between these two hot and intense but it is also forbidden with the fact that Tyler is Layla's patient and will they both be able to put there feelings aside or will they act on them before its too late. I truly enjoyed reading this box-set.

Date Your Brothers Best Friend-This book is hot! I love the storyline and I love Sarah Jo and Luke. The chemistry between the two is amazing, the humor is fun, and it’s a very touching love story.

This is a steamy collection of six standalone novels filled with drama, steam, secret crushes, forbidden love, HEA's and so much more. All six books are well written and the storylines are great. Here are a couple of my favorites from this box set.
Forbidden Crush:
Forbidden Crush is book four of the Forbidden Lovers series and is Ryan and Macy's story. Ryan and Macy have known each other for years because their mothers were best friends. Macy's always had a secret crush on him but when his mother passes away he spirals out of control and starts drinking. The storyline was good and the characters were believable.
Damaged:
When Layla started her therapy group to help people with PTSD she never imagined falling for a patient. After one steamy night together she leaves and must now decide between her feelings for Tyler and her profession. I loved Tyler and Layla and after everything these two have gone through in life they both deserved a happy ending. The writing is good and the story pulled at my heartstrings. This is a forbidden romance between a therapist and her patient and a great addition to the Forbidden Lovers series.

There are 6 books in this collection. The first 5 are related stories that can stand alone. I previously review the Billionaire Boss and gave it 5 stars, after reading it again I would only give it 4 stars. The 5 related stories have a common theme that authors may refer to as angst and I think of it as whining. Where the character did what they wanted to do but kept whining about how wrong it was but still kept doing it. The best story was Damaged which deserves 5 stars. All of the stories were good, romantic, and steamy. I enjoyed the collection.

Each couple have experienced traumatic lives and it is their souls that connect. They realize that they have someone who sees them for who they are and not the situations that made up their pasts and caused damage in their present. All they needed is someone to trust, someone who will help them knock the walls that they have built up in order to find out they are just as deserving of someone to love and care about them. Who will have their back no matter what.

This is a great box set. All of the stories have a similar theme; forbidden love, but not one has the same feel to it. The characters in each story are completely different as is the scenario. Very enjoyable to read, well written and constructed. All of these stories are good reads.

Ok girl has baby without Dad

Nice story, but doesn’t require a whit of attention to read it. It’s been written a hundred times, and it wasn’t very distinctive. I’ll probably forget it by tomorrow.
