My name is Frank Nutter, I retired from the Department of Defense in 2004. I was an internal auditor for over 30 years. I traveled all over the world and saw many interesting places.

After retiring, my wife, Nancy, and I became avid RVers. We have traveled back and forth across the United States at least four times and stayed at numerous RV Campgrounds on and off Military Bases.

I started writing in 2018. My daughter said I should write about the weird and strange things I have seen and felt throughout my life, so I did. "The Beginning" and "Redemption" set the stage for the final book in the trilogy, "Beyond Heaven".

The Trilogy is a story that progresses from a sleepy Appalachian childhood to a mysterious and danger-filled adulthood. The Vietnam War as a backdrop for experimentation, by whom? To what end? Government, aliens, and religious leaders conspiring or battling for supremacy? If you are interested in murder mysteries, and science fiction with a pinch of metaphysical you will enjoy “The Beginning & “Redemption”. Although mostly fiction, some events, and ideologies are based on fact and are embedded in the text to allow the reader to discern for themselves if there is any higher value and meaning for our existence.

In Redemption, Frank Nutter crafts a moving story of personal transformation, exploring the depths of despair and the possibility of renewal. The novel follows its protagonist, struggling with past mistakes, as they navigate a complex path to redemption. Nutter’s writing is both raw and poetic, capturing the internal battles of the characters with striking authenticity.

The illustrations by Aaryn E. Nutter and Bill Pate are integral to the narrative, not mere embellishments but emotional extensions of the text. For instance, in a scene where the protagonist faces the ghosts of their past, the illustration of a shadowed figure in a dark forest perfectly mirrors the character's feelings of isolation and regret. This visual depth enriches the story's emotional weight, making it resonate on a deeper level.

Caroline Bass, the editor, ensures that the pacing never lags, even as the book dives into darker themes of guilt and forgiveness. A particularly impactful moment occurs when the protagonist makes a life-changing decision, beautifully captured both in words and in a stark photograph by Nancy Nutter of a solitary figure standing at the edge of a cliff, symbolizing the leap of faith required for change.

What sets Redemption apart is its sense of quiet hope. While the characters’ pain is palpable, the book never feels hopeless. Instead, Nutter balances the weight of loss with glimpses of light, like when the protagonist begins to rebuild relationships with those they’ve hurt, offering readers a heartfelt message: healing is possible, but it requires vulnerability and action.

In short, Redemption is a captivating blend of emotional depth and visual storytelling, a book that lingers long after the final page. It’s a must-read for anyone seeking a story of personal growth that is as visually compelling as it is profoundly human.

Frank Nutter’s Redemption completely blew me away. I went in expecting a straightforward mystery, but what I got was a deep, layered conspiracy that kept me thinking long after I closed the book. Palmer Arnold is such a compelling protagonist driven, flawed, but relentlessly human. The way Nutter ties government secrets, missing servicemen, and even the Vatican into one seamless story is genius. Every chapter pulled me deeper. I can’t stop recommending this to everyone who loves intelligent thrillers with real heart.

Wow. Just wow. Redemption had me hooked from the first page. The pacing, the tension, and the moral questions it raises about government secrecy and human accountability it’s all so sharp. What I loved most was the chemistry between Palmer and Marylyn Monroe. Their partnership feels real, and the stakes they face together are enormous. Nutter’s writing has this cinematic quality that made me see every scene. Easily one of the best political thrillers I’ve read in years.

Reading Redemption felt like uncovering a classified file piece by piece. Frank Nutter manages to make every revelation hit hard, especially as Palmer gets closer to the truth about the RECALL program. The mix of science, politics, and emotion is perfectly balanced. There’s a certain realism to the way Nutter writes government operations it feels like he’s seen behind the curtain. I finished this book at 2 a.m. because I literally couldn’t stop turning the pages.

I didn’t expect to be so emotionally invested in a story about espionage and dark matter, but Redemption surprised me. Beneath the conspiracy is a story about loyalty, loss, and the weight of truth. Palmer Arnold’s quest for answers about John Faust’s death isn’t just about justice it’s about redemption in the truest sense. Frank Nutter gives his characters real depth and humanity. This is not just another thriller; it’s a story that makes you think about what truth really costs.

Frank Nutter has a gift for weaving complexity into clarity. Redemption is a masterclass in storytelling, balancing intense plotlines with strong character arcs. I loved the dynamic between the different investigative players Palmer, Aaryn Faust, and Ralph Kramden each bring something unique to the table. The inclusion of both the government and the Vatican was unexpected and fascinating. I found myself Googling half the terms in the book because it all felt so plausible. That’s great writing.

I can honestly say Redemption gave me chills. The way Nutter explores the intersection between faith, science, and secrecy is brilliant. It’s not just a mystery it’s a statement about how far institutions will go to control what humanity knows. The ending left me with my jaw on the floor. You can tell Nutter poured thought and passion into every scene. I’m already itching for whatever comes next in this universe.

Redemption is the kind of book that reminds me why I love reading thrillers. Every page pulses with tension and intrigue. Palmer Arnold is such a well drawn protagonist relatable, determined, and haunted by the shadows of his own conscience. The way Nutter connects the Vietnam War’s missing servicemen to a modern day government cover up is both heartbreaking and brilliant. You can feel the weight of history pressing on every chapter.

This book had everything I want in a great thriller smart dialogue, high stakes, and a web of secrets that keeps tightening. What stood out to me most was how real it all felt like these events could genuinely happen. Nutter doesn’t spoon-feed the reader; he trusts us to follow the complexity, which I really appreciate. Redemption demands attention, and it rewards it with one of the most satisfying conclusions I’ve read all year.

Frank Nutter’s writing in Redemption feels purposeful and personal. I could sense his passion for the subject matter government ethics, science, morality woven into the story. I was especially struck by Aaryn Faust’s arc; her grief and determination added an emotional weight that balanced the high intensity investigation. This isn’t just a sequel; it’s a full bodied continuation that deepens everything from The Beginning. It left me both satisfied and hungry for more.

The interplay between the government and the Vatican over dark matter monitoring was wild but strangely believable. Every twist made me question who to trust. By the end, I was emotionally drained in the best possible way. You can feel the author’s conviction on every page. Absolutely stellar.

A phenomenal sequel! Redemption answers so many questions from The Beginning while opening new doors. The chemistry between Palmer and Marylyn Monroe the NSA analyst, not the actress adds warmth and wit to a heavy story. Absolutely captivating.
