About the author

Alice Oseman is an award-winning author, illustrator, and screenwriter, and was born in 1994 in Kent, England. She has written four YA contemporary novels about teenage disasters: SOLITAIRE, RADIO SILENCE, I WAS BORN FOR THIS, and LOVELESS. She is the creator of LGBTQ+ YA romance webcomic HEARTSTOPPER, which is now published in physical form by Hachette Children's Books, and she is the writer, creator, and executive producer for the television adaptation of HEARTSTOPPER, which is set to be released on Netflix.

Alice’s first novel SOLITAIRE was published when she was nineteen. Her YA novels have been nominated for the YA Book Prize, the Inky Awards, the Carnegie Medal, and the Goodreads Choice Awards.

Alongside writing and drawing, Alice enjoys playing the piano semi-proficiently, Pokémon games, and purchasing too many Converse.

This is as adorable as the graphic novels. Lovely illustrations, super easy and quick to colour. I'm really having fun with it.

The quality of the print could be better, though. The lines of the illustration that is on the other side of the page I'm working on will transfer to the page beneath, unless I put a sheet of paper in between (I'm using colouring pencils for this one). I've never experienced that with any of the other colouring books I own.

This silly little coloring book SAVED me from losing my mind during a 10 hour-long train ride. There was a minor accident and we were stuck in the middle of nowhere for an additional 4 hours at just 40 minutes from our destination. I had just finished the only physical book I had with me and I had no service to download purchased audiobooks.
So, I turned to this gem.

Oh, what a delight. I used alcohol markers to color this in during that trip and, subsequently, continued coloring in different pages throughout the year.

Now I have finished, and I’m so proud and grateful for the calm this book brought me, even if, this time, it wasn’t words that were comforting me, instead beautiful and dedicated art by a phenomenal artist.

I was concerned about making sure I was getting everyone's skin tone right but I used Oseman's online coloured illustrations as reference.

Después de un largo, largo, largo tiempo pude terminar el libro para colorear. Hubo varias circunstancias que me impidieron avanzar pero mi meta era colorear todo el libro y lo conseguí.

Ha sido un largo y hermoso viaje en el que me sumergí en la historia y disfruté colorear tanto escenas de la novela gráfica como escenas inéditas. Hizo que me concentrara en el momento presente, desarrollara mi creatividad y dejará de lado el estrés cotidiano.

Lo recomiendo ampliamente, en especial para el público adulto. Dense la oportunidad de darle vuelo a su imaginación y reducir el estrés.

El único punto negativo es que contiene algunos dibujos minúsculos que son difíciles de colorear.

fast and easy to read. it was heartwarming, i caught myself crying in the short time it took me to finish this graphic novel. the simplicity is well done as it doesn’t take away from the storyline. cant wait to read the next one!

Muy hermosas ilustraciones, varias de ellas nunca antes vistas. Sin embargo, me habría gustado que el minicómic extra fuera alguno nuevo y no el mismo que nos dieron en el segundo volumen.
