Daddy-licious #3

Daddy's Boy

Rate this book
Will Kory’s responsibilities make or break them?

Working full-time and trying to take care of his younger sister takes a toll on Kory. He needs to let go and an older man he meets at Lock and Key might be the one to help him.

Lorenzo took one look at Kory and was hooked. He could see the younger man needed someone to take care of him, someone to ease Kory’s troubles and he wanted to be the man to do just that.

When Lorenzo learns Kory is keeping something from him, will Lorenzo face it head on, or turn his back and walk away?

Daddy’s Boy is a slow-burn MM romance, with an age-gap, is low angst, with a caring older Daddy, a younger boy with a sibling, mild D/s play, and plenty of steamy loving, with a HEA.

What can I say about me? I have two boys who keep me on my toes and a cat who adopted us. She walked in one day and hasn’t left. We might be getting a dog too. Who knows?

I love to read about men in love. Flawed, but strong men, who need some TLC and find their happy ending. I love to write about those same type of men too, sometimes with added kink! I also love to read horrors, thrillers and crime novels.

When I’m not trying to keep my boys in line, or writing about hot sexy men, I like to work on my allotment. I also like to read, to take walks in the countryside, and visit historical places. Recently, we went to Stonehenge and Avebury. It was an amazing experience.

Kory works full-time and cares for his ten-year-old sister too. He badly needs a way to let go and the older man he met at Lock and Key might be the one to help him. Lorenzo took one look at Kory and was hooked. He could see the younger man needed someone to take care of him, someone to ease Kory’s troubles and he wanted to be the man to do just that. When Lorenzo learns Kory is keeping something from him, will Lorenzo face it head-on, or turn his back and walk away?

I enjoyed this story with Kory and some of the struggles that he had with his sister over normal things like homework and then him meeting Lorenzo and getting the relief he so badly needed. I loved that the relationship had rest, relaxation as well as passion. There were several stumbling blocks around independence and pride but they were able to work past them. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.

If you Love Daddy/Boy this is ideal for you it's so Hot and Sexy there's Lorenzo who's the perfect Daddy Dom but has not had a boy for a while after his last one left him and he found out he lied about being a boy just to use him. But life's hard for him it's getting him down wants a Daddy to look after him and take care of him, love how Lorenzo is so patient and caring with him and they take there time finding out what both of them want loved it Fantastic.

Daddy’s Boy by Megs Pritchard is the third book in the Daddy-Licious series. I loved this story. There are an emotional intensity and great character chemistry that kept me turning the pages and wanting more.

Kory, he works full time. He supports his younger sister since his parents died. He is pretty worn out when we meet him. He goes to Lock and Key to unwind and maybe find a Daddy who he can share his burdens with.

Lorenzo he is older than Kory, he has been burnt by a pretend boy in the past. He really wants Kory and to be the daddy he deserves to have.

Both men need to learn to let the other into their hearts. I loved how they both grew together. That was really special to watch unfold. I would highly recommend this book to a romantic at heart. I cannot wait for more from this series in the future.

I love a good series... to see preciously loved characters float in and out of the current story... to see how the dynamics change as characters grow and the interactions between couples ebb and flow. This novel is a bit more realistic in its tone - still sexy and hot, but infused with the complications of a boy who needs a daddy, but still has adult responsibilities every day. I loved the two MC a lot and was happy they came to a mutually satisfactory arrangement of caring and dependence. As much as any novel in the genre, this book highlights the challenges of discovering what we need to grow and how to balance that with the expectations that others have for us. I found myself wondering at the end how they would make it all work in the long run... I hope we run into Rory and Lorenzo again soon.

Sexy Sweet

Kory and Lorenzo meet at Lock and Key where Kory is trying to find his own Daddy like his friend Day. Lorenzo's former little used him for his money and then left him. Kory has taken on the role of parent to his ten year old sister Kait. I liked her a lot although she swore a lot for a ten year old. Kory needed to be little to relieve his stress from work and raising his sister and Lorenzo became his Daddy. Their sex was hot af and Kory becomes Fox when he was in little mode. I loved this name. Characters from previous books abound which helped this story flow and of course an epilogue to boot. Can't wait for final book to come out. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves ABDL and age/gap.

Too predictable

This is the third book in this series and there’s a pattern that’s too predictable. There’s a misunderstanding between the 2 MC and one of them gets mad and leaves, cutting off communication. At least in this book, it was the sub acting like a child rather than the Dons.

Other than that, this storyline was meh. We know that Lorenzo really wants to cut up his boy’s food. It’s mentioned at least 3 times, and Kory doesn’t want to be like Lorenzo’s ex. The scenes at the club were ok, but the last 1/3 of the book is mostly one sex scene after another and a lot less plot.

Daddy Lorenzo finds a real boy in Kory

This will pull on your heartstrings for both men. Lorenzo had a boy that only prevented to get his money but Kory had a lot of life thrown at him. I loved how Kory's 10 year old sister kept him on his toes. But getting back together is always sweeter especially when it's filled with a lot of make up sex.

Sooo good!!

Kory has done an amazing job caring for his sister. Now he needs a Daddy to help him deal with the stress that has built up. Lorenzo is the perfect Daddy for him. They just have to remember to trust and communicate. Nothing better than when all the pieces come together. I love this series and will always want more.

Loved it

Korey struggles with everyday life, guardian to his 10 yr old sister, financial worries. He just wants to let go, let someone care for him. Lorenzo was stung once by a boy and after two years was ready to move on. Spotting Korey on his first night at the club, he knew he was the one to be his little boy, providing they were on the same page.

Kory has so much responsibility and at such a young age. He’s struggling to admit that it’s ok to ask for help. Lorenzo has been burned before but isn’t afraid to admit what he wants. Watching this relationship bloom and unfold was wonderful. This series and the setting of Locke and Key is great.

What a sweet book

Daddies want good things for their little..in the relationship honesty has to be there. But sometime sharing is uncomfortable... But only if your not honest is it worse

Responsibility

Kory has a ton of responsibilities, taking care of his younger sister after a tragedy with his parents and trying to figure out what he wants too. It's a good thing for friends.

Daddy please

Love the pull and push. I almost cried sad tears then happy ones. Love the second story in this one also. Also has some "real" life issues in this so made it realistically real.

I liked the story, kind of wish Dario actually ran into Lorenzo to have it out personally by instead of it being background noise.

Also, wish the Epilogue went into more detail on how their life is now in a year as opposed to just the change in the club.

I liked this one okay. It was more heavily loaded with sex scenes than storyline it seemed but was still enjoyable.

Nice HEA

These books tend to start off slow & end quite quickly, but I still enjoy them because of the theme and of the HEAs. I'm looking forward to the next one.🙂
