An elementary introduction to one aspect of drawing. The examples and illustrations weren't anything particularly helpful. Both my grandson's and I were taught more in middle school art classes. I wouldn't necessarily give it to anyone to read who was interested in learning to draw.

This would be a good book for reference. It is just what I was looking for, very clear and concise instruction on focal point, value, landscape vs portrait, asymmetry & symmetry as well as setting up landscape.

This book would be a keeper.
