Big Cats by Dorothy Hinshaw Patent is a captivating nonfiction book about the wonders of the wild big cats. She gives many great facts and teaches the reader everything there is to know about these wonderful animals. This book brings these wild and beautiful cats to life. They are told about in great detail that brings respect and awe from the reader. I really loved reading this book because I love cats and I love learning about wild cats. THey are so different from house cats that we know and love. THis book is a great nonfiction book to bring to the classroom. IT will help students realize that nonfiction books are not boring and if you find them in the right subject they can be the most interesting books out there. I think this book would also be great to relate to an assignment asking questions about the reading. It would also be good to link with students and have them find their own favorite nonfiction book and bring it to the classroom.
What I think about this book is that it talks about cheetahs and all kinds of cats in the wiled and what I think about this book to is that it was very informational .Also that the book can help you out if your project .The most interesting animal that I read was the cheetah because it's my favorite animal in the whole world and it talks about how they are when there baby's and what they eat and do while there young so this is a book that you really wont to learn about and your favorite animal is the cheetah or tigers or lions or pumas this is the book for you and also i think this book is really fun to read.
