A great read!

There is some powerful imagery in this book, which explores the more negative sides of love. As you would expect with this book's theme, emotions like bitterness and anger come across really well in each poem. If you've enjoyed other poetry books by Adam Laws, then you will like this.

I'm a firm fan of Adam's poetry because I never know what he's about to do next!
This collection didn't disappoint. The poems here are visceral in their dissection of love and matters of the heart. I always enjoy Adam's fearlessness in his poetry. Altogether a compelling read!

Adam’s writing can come across quite sinister, but that doesn’t make us as a reader deviate from the page - his writing is captivating! Thoroughly impressed with this chapbook!
