Though he loves her desperately, he’s starting to worry their relationship can’t continue.

Skye Manning has fallen down the rabbit hole and become captive to her needs. Yessss! What a journey! I still ❤️Braden Black!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This series has been such an eye-opening experience. From the superb character development to the hella hot bedroom and non-bedroom scenes, we are delivered a passionate and intense story that is ever consuming. I devoured this and all of the books in the series.
Billionaire stories are one of my favorite genres to read. I love the control, focus, and passion that exudes from Braden. He is has become one of my top book boyfriends! Delicious!
Balanced beautifully is the ever-charming, but loaded with her own control issues, Skye. The only one that can capture his attention and hold it.
Hardt pours her heart and soul into her craft and Follow Me Always with the deep connections, intensity, splashes of erotica, and the intricate weaving of tension and issues that threaten their relationship. The conclusion is fabulous and definitely worthy of those two lovers.
I never tire of her books. Hardt is an automatic one-click for me!
This trilogy was a mess!
I feel like I've redeemed myself of at least a 100 of my sins just by finishing all books in this bad fanfic trilogy!
This one was a tiny bit less boring than the others, but that's not even a compliment at this point.
The secret was bullshit.
She's still annoying.
He's still unattractive, even if everyone tried to sell him as a God.
The amount of random bullshit and repetitive stuff is ridiculous.
I'm done.
And I do not recommend it.
This was a great ending to the trilogy, I have been enjoying Braden Black and Skye Manning's story and I am sad to see it end...I am actually crossing my fingers that the author will give us more of them in future books, maybe about Skye's best friend Tessa.
Braden and Skye's love for one another comes through in everything they do, the passion is off the charts hot but it's more than that. We get all the answers we have been looking for here, there is nothing left unsaid or untold. Braden's past comes to light but what was most interesting is Skye's revelation about her own past.
FOLLOW ME ALWAYS is the third book in the FOLLOW ME SERIES by Helen Hardt and each of these books need to be read in the order they have been released. I urge readers to read the Trigger Warning the author has at the beginning of the book, while it doesn't take place on the pages it is discussed and you should take that into consideration before beginning this book.
If you are looking for a book, actually a series, that involves the discover of BDSM with a HOT older man (Braden is 35 while Skye is 24), a Steamy Billionaire Romance, or just a good Erotic Romance, then this one is for you.
Happy Reading!!!
3.5 stars for me
Ok so, this is hard for me to say as I loved the first 3 books but....... I felt disappointed with this one 😔
I expected more drama or a big WOW moment but it just seemed flat. Even when Braden finally fully revealed his secret, it wasn't a shock as you pretty much knew what it would be from the previous books.
I will say it was nice to see how they both grew and to really learn to trusted one another.
En la misma línea que los anteriores. Malo, repetitivo y con la protagonista más aburrida de la historia de los libros . Una ⭐ es ser muy generosa.
Guilt can either hold you back from growing or it can show you what you need to shift in your life...
Braden Black tries not to be dragged down by his guilt of his past. He desires to get past it. He has lived with it for years tamped down deep within him, but it has resurfaced. It came back rearing its ugly head when he fell in love with Skye. Skye is sultry, sensual and is complicated. He is captivated and consumed with her. But Skye is full of questions that he just can't answer.
Skye harbors guilt as well and finds she needs to find answers in order for her relationship with Braden to work and go forward. Skye goes home to where she feels the root of her problems lie. Braden needs to forgive himself, if not, what he has with Skye is in danger of falling apart and he would never survive without her in his life. Braden and Skye's story is erotic, passionate and will have you spellbound from the beginning to the end. Helen Hardt has graced us with yet another stunning series.
Honestly this series wasn’t the best. It was actually so bad this book took me 12 FUCKING DAYS to read. So don’t read this cause it put me in a book slump. Anyways… this book was still my favorite out of all 3 of the books. Mostly because we actually got to see a little character from everyone but mostly ofc Braden and Skye. I thought this series was a little like fifty
Shades. No I’m not saying that because it was a sub/dom type book but because of some other things. For example in the the Fifty Shades books Christians guard tells Anna that he’s a good man, and so does Bradens guard to Skye. And honestly the characters lacked taste. This seemed like a side project of a side project. I am also so mad because my first 2 books are the old covers and the 3rd that just released is a new cover. Wtf? One of the worst thing an author can do is change covers in the middle of publishing a series. And the new cover, a rose?? REALLY. No correlation whatsoever. I am really disappointed in these books and honestly would never recommend.
Skye Manning
Braden Black
Follow Me Always, was a great story. Helen Hardt, is as always, a master at her craft with words.
I started the Follow Me Series with Follow Me Darkly, followed by Follow Me Under, then Helen brought us Darkly, a book strictly in Braden Black's POV, then is wrapping everything up with the final book in the series with Follow Me Always.
So many questions asked. Do we get those answers?
So many thoughts to process, good thoughts and bad.
So many things happen, that I'm afraid that if I say more, I will say too much. But I will say this,...I highly recommend you read this book, only after you read the other 3 books in the series.
I cannot give this enough stars to suit the writing and storyline, but yet I'm required to give a number, so I choose the highest number available, 5 stars.
Maybe 1.5? The dialogue wasn't great, there was a weird action scene, and the BIG REVEAL wasn't all that shocking. I definitely guessed it in book one. Skye also seemed to process a lot of trauma in only 2 therapy sessions, and I think I want to get on her level.
Huh - ok. So...there is definitely still hot sex scenes in this book, but this book, imo, was the most unfortunate of the series. This may be controversial, but I began highlighting passages that really irked me, so this review will be long. I'm also going to hide the passages so nothing is spoiled for other readers. Before I go into the nitty gritty, I realized I simply did not like Skye. She didn't really grow as a person. I tried to remind myself that she's 24, she's still young. But she's having this kinky sex with Braden, so I think the author was trying to write a more mature character. I also decided I simply did not like how the author interpreted the characters. Many of her own thoughts (or so I'm assuming) are passed onto the characters that I don't think they would have had.
So, after all these words and all these complaints, I did finish the book. I did want to know what happened. It is my least favorite in the series but still the author knows how to write amazing sex scenes.
This was a therapeutic rant.
⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 “Just in case,” he says. “Your safe word is ‘always.’ Because you’re mine. Always.”
What You’ll Find:
✔️Erotic Romance
✔️BDSM
✔️Twists & Secrets
✔️Continuing Trilogy
✔️Single POV
Follow Me Always picks up right where the last book left off. Skye has a new desire, but it’s a hard limit for Braden. One he won’t do or explain. And this could very well be their breaking point.
“He dares me to try new things. Things I never even conceptualized before. Things I never knew existed. And I’m not just talking about the bondage.”
Braden continues to be this domineering and analytical man. Very black and white. While Skye is more open, and sees grey. But where they are both similar is in the fact they both enjoy the BDSM life. The conclusion to their story steps back a little, focusing more on who are they individually. They do some soul searching into secrets of the past in hopes to aid in having a future together.
“Just because I can’t be with you doesn’t mean I no longer love you.”
These two couldn’t be more destined for each other though, and you’ll route for them. Their chemistry burns bright. But you also get to see a softer side as well, especially from Braden that we hadn’t seen yet.
“But it’s different with you. I want the darkness, but I also want the light.”
I would have liked to have seen more depth. The conflicts felt a little surface level and anticlimactic at times. I wonder if having Braden’s POV included would have helped this for me (which I will have to check out- since he has his own set of books for this series as well)! There were twists and turns, secrets and so much more. Overall an enjoyable, steamy series with a sweet ending!
Follow Me Always is a seductive, scandalous, and oh-so-passionate conclusion to the 'Follow Me' series. Helen Hardt continues Braden and Skye's story with even more twists and turns which will have fans of the series hanging onto every word.
In this final book, Braden and Skye have so much to work through. Skye wants something that he can't give her and Braden doesn't see how they can get past it. They definitely face their fair share of struggles in this book. There is a good possibility that their relationship is ending for good. So, Braden and Skye have to dig deep and open up past wounds to help them move on and understand why they each want to control certain aspects of their lives.
Helen Hardt takes us on an emotional roller coaster. Skye goes back home thinking this is the key to discovering her inner demons. There are many revelations that could easily shatter Skye. And even though she and Braden are on-again-off-again with their relationship, their love is their guiding light. I was completely enamored by this book. We finally get the answers we so desperately wanted and so much more.
I give Follow Me Always all the stars. It is complicated, sexy, and dark just like Braden and Skye's relationship. Fans of the series won't be disappointed by this conclusion. I am sad that this is the last book in the 'Follow Me trilogy' because I am so captivated by the writing, the story, and characters. It reminded me of the feeling I got when I first read the 'Fifty Shades' books. I highly recommend starting from the beginning and finishing it with this stunning conclusion.
Conclusions… ohhhh how I love conclusions to books that leave me on cliffhangers. Follow Me Darkly started the trilogy for me and was a total enjoyment. I was slightly slowed by Follow Me Under but typically the second book in a trilogy doesn’t always hit the mark for me. I already knew that I needed to know the past of Braeden, so no matter what ensued I was all in for these books and patiently awaited the Follow Me Always release. And here it is folks!
Revelations upon revelations. Though some of the issues still seem a bit surface skimming and without much depth I found myself intoxicated by the past mingling with present and of course the bedroom antics as the pages got hot and heated. Mind you if you are new to BDSM, take this relationship with a grain of salt and read for the pleasure of the story not the truth of the actions. BDSM is a lot more contractual and considerate for lack of a better term.
The overall finale to the journey of Skye and Braeden left me wanting a little more (call me greedy). I liked how Hardt added emotional depth and personal reflection instead of Skye flying off the naive deep dive this round. I liked how she matured a little more. I feel a novella with Addie could add to this series too. Especially after learning her role in everything and having the air cleared.
The Follow Me trilogy was a wonderous escape from the mundane and a sexual treat to indulge in. Thank you, Entangled Publishing, for letting me rekindle my love affair with Hardt’s writing and escape in sexy solitude with these novels once again. All thoughts are my own. Recommend to readers who enjoyed The Fifty Shades of Grey series. True book rating 3.5/5.
Where to start??
So this was a really good book and now looking back, perhaps Follow Me Under was meant to be messy so that we could see the personal growth and progress Braden and Skye made in Follow Me Always.
Follow Me Always redeemed Skye for me. I love that she went to therapy and learned more about herself and also realized that she had to respect Braden's boundaries. I loved that she became close with Tessa again even though I don't appreciate that Tessa seems like a jealous friend (although she has gotten a lot better). I enjoyed learning more about Skye. I feel like she grew into her own and no longer depended on others to make decisions or be swayed by what others thought about her. As for Braden, the fact that he communicated on his own terms, what went down between him and Addison, why he isn't close to his father shows his growth too.
Braden and Skye grew individually and that spilled into their relationship. The teasing, the trust that was there, the romance was never the issue but they seemed happier, they are happier. I'm glad we got a happily ending.
Skye and Braden’s journey continues and the twists and turns continue right up until the very end.
After how everything ended with book 2 in this trilogy, Skye is on a mission to discover who she is and it leads her back home to Kansas. Memories of her past are brought up and they shed a lot of light on who she is now and her wants and desires. Braden doesn’t like to open up about his past and his limits, but he also wants to know who Skye is.
Skye and Braden’s journey is full of ups and downs as the two of them look for answers deep within themselves. I loved how much Skye grew throughout this series and the confidence she found within herself. Braden also had a lot of growth throughout the course of this series. I loved seeing them come together on a much deeper level.
If you’re looking for a steamy, billionaire romance this is one to check out.
I am so glad to have received a copy of this third book in the Follow Me series. I devoured the first two books and needed the conclusion of Braden and Skye’s story. I appreciated their willingness to figure themselves out before making a full commitment to each other. I was suspicious of his push for that at first but found the results so rewarding. The conflict wasn’t at all what I expected and I am so glad that I got to binge this book!
Yes, this is the most absurd reason to give a book 3 stars. First let me say this. It took me forever to read this book. I COULD NOT GET PAST THIS HIDEOUS ASS COVER. I do not know why the author thought it would be appealing to readers, IT WAS NOT. The last two covers were very sexy and hot. I finally finished this book after 3 months of trying, it was okay, story was sublime too much drama, get to the heat.
Helen continues Braden and Skye's story in this dark, mysterious romance. So many things are explained about each of their backgrounds, none of which you would expect. Plus, there is an additional twist that involves Skye's friends and adds suspense to the story. She definitely had me guessing up until the very end! ❤️
I read this book in two days. That’s how good it was. I loved the series so I was excited to get to this book.
The author did a great job of telling the back story of both characters and entwining the two as they helped each other. I just loved the dialogue, the explanation, the raw feelings and the story as she wrote it. It’s why I couldn’t put the book down. Just loved it.
Disappointed!! Yes, Brandon finally told Skye all his past and why he felt such guilt which was a good thing!! There was a little more plot in this book but not a lot more!! Now, I like steam in a book but I want a story to go with the steam!! I really had to push myself to finish this book!!
I really couldn’t say I liked either character by the end of the series and the “big secret” was lame and predictable. The writing was elementary and repetitive and I literally rolled my eyes at some points bc it was so stupid.
Se trata de una novela que, en muchos sentidos, encarna la naturaleza de continuación. En el interior de sus páginas, no se da forma a una historia argumentada de un sinfín de elementos, aunque ciertamente se observa un cambio de registro y una intención más clara de revestirse de un mayor grado de profundidad.
Siendo como es la última entrega, se observa una madurez destacada, aun cuando todos sus matices se rodean de los mejores elementos de la simplicidad. Su transformación personal, se ve ampliamente desarrollada, su objetivo de resultar ser una lectura ligera, aunque le hace desprenderse de la complejidad más atrayente, alude a un grado de transformación tal, que no deja de atraer en ningún momento.
Helen Hardt vuelve a hacer alarde de su facilidad para crear esta historia distendida, capaz de ofrecer un final acorde con aquello esperado. La autora, vuelve a hacer gala de su prosa directa, adornando su relato con diálogos que imprimen a su lectura de un ritmo totalmente vertiginoso.
Wow! Follow Me Always started on a cliffhanger and it definitely was a hard wait! I love the way things turned out for the couple but I also felt a little disappointed in how abrupt and surface level some of the plot was. The ending was choppy. The whole Situation involving Tessa and the guys was too shallow and the summation too brief really to get me invested. It was fun for a romance novel but it didn’t quite have the quality I prefer. It was certainly spicy but the dialogue could have used some work and like I said, the rest of the plot was a bit lackluster. It was clearly going for a 50 shades thing and even though 50 is not well written AT ALL (not to mention full of britishisms never spoken in the PNW) there was a bit more depth to the drama that kept me invested. This just felt like it was going through the motions for the whole second half of the book. I did love the first half though! I loved that we get to go to Kansas and see what happened in the past. It was nice to finally get the answers we’ve been waiting for since book one. Sadly the Addie storyline feels unfinished, but at least the secrets are out!
One last thing, I’ve read up about the BDSM scene and the community reaction to 50 shades and this book falls into the same pitfalls. Literally no one would conduct a relationship this way with so little upfront communication and aftercare. I can’t tell you how annoying it was that he just rolled over after he finished and didn’t really check on her at all throughout the series—although he seems to get the communication and consent stuff right with his earlier Addie relationship. But like, you don’t do through a tense scene and just roll over after. We’re going to start needing ownvoices writers for BDSM now with all the misrepresentation! Lol Just food for thought!
Finally! FOLLOW ME ALWAYS *finally* gives readers what they’ve been promised through the course of this series — the mysteries of both Braden’s and Skye’s pasts are revealed, as is the sordid history of Braden and Addie’s relationship. While I can’t say that any of the revelations were truly shocking, it was nice to finally feel like the air was cleared. Those secrets were buried deep and Hardt is indeed a cruel mistress, stringing us along for 2 whole books, and I have to say — the wait was worth it.
Both Braden and Skye have transformed so much over the course of these 3 books and it was nice to finally see them acting like normal people. This book also comes with the requisite conflict that forces each individual to sort of introspectively figure out their own personal issues and work through them in order to move forward together. I loved how supportive each individual was towards the other, and that support is such a huge step for both of them. Before, they were really just two people who came together through sexual attraction , and this book showed how deep their feelings really, are and how they’re so much more than that.
“𝙄 𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙣’𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙚.” 𝙃𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙙. “𝙒𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙄 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙪𝙩. 𝙄 𝙨𝙖𝙬 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄 𝙬𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙩. 𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙜𝙤𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙢𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙝𝙤𝙬. Bottom line — this series was such a fun ride from start to finish, filled with plenty of angst and steam between two characters who will challenge readers as much as they challenge each other. FOLLOW ME ALWAYS provided a satisfying conclusion to the series and I’m thrilled with how things ended, as I’m sure many readers will be. 4 stars.
In book 3 of the Follow Me series, Braden's secrets threaten to tear apart his relationship with Skye, and Skye's surrendering her control to Braden becomes too dangerous. Can their love and trust overcome their deepest secrets and fears?
Skye is going home to Kansas to find herself and what she discovers is suppressed memories of a traumatic event. Could it be why she feels the need for punishment and total submissiveness with Braden?
Braden's love for Skye has him lost and confused. She's the only woman he has loved and trusted other than his mother. He wants to protect her, so can he reveal the secrets that made him who he is?
I have to admit my dislike for Braden lessened during this book. As he reveals the truth about his mother and the whole Addison debacle, he becomes more human to me.  Skye also comes of age and begins to live her own life without being under the thumb of billionaire Braden Black. Their love and trust transcend them into a secure and beautiful partnership together always and forever.
I highly recommend this passionate story and the entire intriguing Follow Me series for those who enjoy volatile connections, shades of erotica, and a tangled web of secrets that threaten the lovers' relationship. I suggest you read Follow Me Darkly and Follow Me Under first.
Thank you to Ms. Hardt for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.
I give Follow Me Always all the stars. It is complicated, sexy, and dark just like Braden and Skye's relationship. Fans of the series won't be disappointed by this conclusion. I am sad that this is the last book in the 'Follow Me trilogy' because I am so captivated by the writing, the story, and the characters. It reminded me of the feeling I got when I first read the 'Fifty Shades' books. I highly recommend starting from the beginning and finishing it with this stunning conclusion.
This is a hard review for me to write because I love this series so much and I want everyone to love it as much as I do. For one I couldn't wait for each book to come out because I needed more and more of Skye and Braden but now it's over, the final book in the series. The second reason I love this book is Skye, she is such an independant women who wants to make it on her own and not because of who she is dating or who she knows. However, her and Braden seem to hit a road block on exactly want they want from each other especially in the bedroom. Skye doesn't quit understand why she needs the things she does when it comes to Braden so she takes off to her small hometown in Kansas to look for the answers. She thinks that the key to all her problems are connected to her mom and getting lost when she was younger. While she is trying to discover the new Skye Braden is traveling to Kansas too so that he can discover why Skye needs him to be the dominant in the bedroom. They both need to discover who they are and how they came to be that person. But when they learn the truth will this help put their relationship back together or are they to different to make things work? Skye has really needs to work on all the relationships in her life and I think she is such a powerful force that she can have it all. Thanks Helen Hardt for giving us this beautiful series and everyone needs to grab a copy and learn why I love them so much!
