I've quickly grown to love this series and look forward to the next book as soon as I've finished. You know exactly what type of story you're going to get when you open up a book by Lauren Lee...fast paced and heart pounding! It's nice to have a relatable, not perfect MC. Makes the story seem more realistic. For a detective series, that is definitely a positive. I only wonder, what will Elle get herself into next?!?

Unputdownable! Capturing Evil by Lauren Lee was exactly that for me. I have become totally immersed in this series. This was book three in the Detective Dahlia series with book four to look forward to. I'm really hoping there are many more to come!
Her characters are believable and I love Elle Dahlia and her new partner Cameron is quite the looker. These two are good together. They are the main characters so, we get to know them the most. There are others. They're just not as prominent. I'm hoping we'll see them emerge a little more as the series progresses.
If you love a good detective story, a little romance thrown in and a few tears along the way, you're gonna love this series. If you've already read book one and two don't miss out on Capturing Evil. This is the best one yet in my opinion.
