READ THIS. If you made it far enough to discover this book, buy it, read it, think about it.
We're living in this age where so many paranormal enthusiasts believe technical investigation didn't take off until 2004, with maybe some similar work done by the Warrens in the 70s, due to big movies and TV lately. This book will be sure to change your entire perspective about not only how much research has been done into the ESP and Survival questions, but the quality, extent, and implications of such research by hundreds and thousands of *actual* scientists over multiple generations.
Some of it's awfully heady. Indeed, there were certainly chapters over even my head. Read around at will, if you like. Regardless, it's worth it. You'll be stunned at the quality of research that's been done, and then stunned again at the utter lack of awareness about it entirely.
This book is a great beginner's book for students. Dr. Eisenbud's chapter on thoughtography and paranormal photography is a must read for parapsychologists.
