Fantastic
On the edge action. Number two is in Dak's reach. Vengeance will be his even if it is bittersweet. Shocked at what Number two has become Dak sets up an ambush by a rival cartel while he goes after the opposing kingpin and Luis. When Dak arrives he finds Luis already eliminated the kingpin. Luis does some explaining, helps Dak out and Dak .... You have to read it yourself to find out. Great job. Thank you. On to Purgatory.

Another Great Series....
During the pandemic from China, this author kept his faithful fans up to date being able to read this series as it was written. Finally getting the chance to read it in it’s entirety is really enjoyable. Always new characters and plot twists with a great protagonist in Dak Harper!

I want to be like Dak Harper when I grow up!
Another great story by Ernest Dempsey! It seems like I always start my reviews like this; fast paced, action packed and a hero I'm rooting for. Didn't think I'd be this interested in another character series after Sean Wyatt, but happily I was wrong. Thanks, Ernie!

An excellent action packed revenge story
Dak continues the pursuit to Mexico to take out the next man on the list who left him for dead. He infiltrates Uruapan and makes a deal with the second biggest cartel to help him take on the biggest cartel where Louis is head of security. Lots of action and a bit of a surprise ending.

Action packed!
A really great, action packed short story, with some unexpected plot twists as well. The story moved at a very fast pace, and built to an explosive finale. The characters were also well portrayed, both the good guys and the bad guys. Another excellent story from Ernest Dempsey.

Dark Harper’s quest continues
Dak Harper is looking for his former team members, not for a pleasant reunion, but to pay them back for their betrayal. This one occurs in Mexico, involving drug cartels and a lot of action. Again, a well developed and well written story

Excellent suspense novel
This book was full of action and suspense without any profanity. It kept me on the edge of my seat as Dak went to Mexico to entangle with dangerous cartels.

Awesome Series!
I love this Series bc Dempsey really makes you get to know and feel good about Dak Harper's quest. Everyone has a little bit of payback they want to accomplish in their lives and Dak getting his, satisfies the need in me. lol. Great author!

Great action.
Description of Mexico San wonderful! Made me wish I was there. Lots of improbable action, but kept you reading. Truly enjoyed this book.

I am really enjoying these short stories as an intro to the world of Dak Harper. He has revenge on his mind and nothing will stand in his way.
